First time trying, we ordered chicken on rice for delivery

Though chicken was over cooked and rice slightly dry, both me and the wife loved our first few bites cause the spices were just amazing.
Then half way through, we came across some weird objects that looks to be chewed sunflower seed skin...like wtf...

I really enjoyed the mango chicken here! It was refreshing because it was a different taste. They made it fresh in-house. I also got a small mac-n-cheese to go. It was my pregnancy craving at the time and it definitely made me feel full and satisfied.

I also got a cheesecake and it was delicious!

Great service here! One staff was super lovely when bringing our food over. She explained what the sauces were for our wings. We ordered mild flavored and I had asked at the cashier if we could have some mango flavored sauce to try (at other similar joints, there would be bottles of sauces to try), and was told it would be a $1.50 charge. I declined. So it was a nice surprise when the other staff brought a white (think it's garlic something) sauce and a hot sauce for the wings. Then she asked if we wanted water and got us some.

The place was quite busy and it took some time for the food to be ready. Saw some customers grumbling about the long wait. Think it took about 15-20 mins for our food. There was lots of orders for delivery. The place was half packed with dine in customers.

My friend had the quarter chicken with grilled vegetables and they were good. I had the chicken and rice bowl. I also added pineapple to it. I was expecting grilled pineapple rings but the pineapple was chopped up and mixed into the rice bowl so I could barely see it or taste it. Not recommended to add pineapple. But the chicken rice bowl was delicious! We had the wings to share and they were yummy too.

This place also sells cheesecake slices from Cheesecake Factory. It is $10.45 after tax for a slice. I think that's pretty close to what it costs down in the US after currency conversion. So if you love the cheesecake from Cheesecake Factory, you don't have to cross the border.

This place closes late, around midnight on weekend, so it's great for late night food.

As I had not seen my friend in a while, we stayed for quite a while catching up and did not feel like we had to vacate the table immediately after finishing our food.

I would come here again for the food and if I get hungry late at night.

Really really good chicken! We tried the mango, citrus, and hot. Excellent hot sauce on the side too. Good sides, husband liked the quinoa, decent slaw and roasted veggies though not special. Great wrap as well.

The paper takeout boxes were much better than plastic, and the woman taking my order asked if we needed cutlery - we did not, and I appreciate the waste consciousness. Commercial desserts were over-packaged so we skipped them.

Kinda meh. Had it a couple times. The chicken is typical NOT steaming hot, which is not very appetizing. Foods is heavily seasoned. Had the corn on the cob as a side once ... not recommended.

Love the Peri Peri chicken!... had it first time about a year ago when they first opened up, love love the Peri Peri Fries, and the chicken dipping sauce is to die for!
Service is pretty quick. It's a walk-in order at the desk kind of place.
Lots of window seats if you want to eat in...it's right on the corner at Hastings, and Sperling!

The food here is consistently delicious and well prepared, definitely a step above Nando's if you're looking to compare - even the mac and cheese is tasty! My only criticism would be the Cheesecake Factory slices. They're pretty good, but not worth the price for the size. I'd honestly just dump that partnership if the prices can't come down and do something original or partner with a local bakery.

But the bottom line is the chicken is great and you won't leave disappointed or hungry. Definitely give it a shot!
