Peter Pan Schools

Peter Pan has been the absolute best to our family and two daughters. The teachers and staff really care and get to truly know each student, often sharing tidbits about their school personalities and interactions with other kids. Would highly recommend!!

Both of my kids went to this school from infant through pre-K. We LOVE Peter Pan preschool and everyone there feels like family. Their playground is truly magical and the environment is supportive, nurturing and challenging. I give all the credit for my kids dropping their pacifier and potty training is 100% the amazing staff here. I can't say enough positive things about this school and all the staff. If you have the opportunity to choose Peter Pan, count yourself lucky and ask when you can start.

My kid loved everyday being at Peter Pan. She loved all the creative activities organized by her beloved teachers, and always felt sad when she had to stay home due to sickness. Thank you all for your greatest care and love and guidance given to Sydney. We will miss Peter Pan and those laughters and hugs.

We have had the absolute BEST childcare experience at Peter Pan! The teachers are amazing and you can tell they truly care about the kids. They have such a positive energy and they make drop off and pick up so easy. My son had a tough time making the transition from in-home care to child care but Ms Shannon and Ms Maricon were amazingly helpful at easing him in and making him feel comfortable! They were so hands-on and it made me feel so at home leaving him in good hands and knowing that he was well cared for.
Julie, the director, has years of experience with kids and a wealth of knowledge. She is amazing with the kids and she knows how to keep everything in-line. I know my kids are safe with her in charge and I'm so appreciative of all her knowledge and advice over the years.
Drop off is my favorite part of the day because of their amazing staff. Huge shout out to Ms. Shelly, Ms. Moui, Ms. Shirley, Ms. Angel, Ms. Sonia, Ms. Cora, Ms. Shannon, Ms. Maricon and Ms. Julie for your kindness. Thank you for all you have done and continue to do. You all are the absolute best!

Our family had a great experience at Peter Pan Pre-School in Alameda. The warm and welcoming environment made it easy for our son to feel comfortable from day one. The staff is caring, professional, and dedicated to providing a positive learning atmosphere for their students.

Our son's teachers took the time to understand his unique needs and tailored their approach to best support his growth. They genuinely cared about his development, and we appreciated their efforts to help him reach his potential.

The curriculum at Peter Pan Pre-School offers a good balance of academic and creative activities, keeping our son engaged throughout the day. The school also promotes social development, teaching students how to interact with their peers and build meaningful relationships.

During our son's time at Peter Pan Pre-School, we observed a noticeable improvement in his confidence, independence, and cognitive skills. The supportive environment helped him develop a strong foundation for future academic success.

Kid loves it here. I wish I was 4 and go here. Fun educational crafts, music, yoga, play, naps, friends... who could ask for a better day?

My son started at Peter Pan when he was four months old and he just graduated preschool. Peter Pan was truly a second home for him and he thrived so well during his time there. We loved how children are given the space to just be kids and grow up with their own individual personalities while also learning skills and manners, and most importantly how to be kind. My son is so ready and well prepared for kindergarten. We are so sad to leave; the teachers truly feel like family.

I'm writing this review as my husband and I are getting ready to move to southern CA with great sadness that our daughter will no longer attend Peter Pan.

I can not say enough good things about the Director, Julie DeMauri - and all the staff here. Incredible care, attention to detail, communication, development, how they handle transitions to a new class as the kids get older, and potty training support.

Our daughter has LOVED going here! We're leaving incredibly grateful for our time at this incredible school.

They will not give rates over the phone. I don't care their reason or policy. That is highly inconvenient.
It takes a lot of time and energy to tour a place and go places that may not even for your budget.

My twins have been going to Peter Pan School in Mariner's Square for a year now. I stayed home with them for their first 2 1/2 years, so I was loathe to leave them at day care when I returned to work. Julie DeMauri, the director, was very informative, kind and helped me put my fears to rest. I interviewed 4 different day cares and felt that this one was the best for my children.

Another great aspect of this school is that they open at 6:30 am - most other day care/pre-schools don't open until 7 or later. Also, once a month is "parents night out", where they will keep the kids until 9 pm...this has been a wonderful opportunity for my husband and I to be able to go out on a date. Awesome!

My twins started in the 2 year old room and "graduated" to the 3 year old room. The school has helped them with potty training and I have been amazed at how their vocabulary has just exploded.

I especially loved Ms. Pat and Ms. Savina in the 2 year old room, and Ms. Angel and Ms. Sonia in the 3 year old room. All four of these professionals are exceptional with children. I can feel good about going back to work because I know my children are well taken care of.

I am very happy with the environment and curriculum at Peter Pan.
