Best gym hands down for the price. The staff is helpful and amiable and feels like family. I have worked in the gym industry for over 9 years, which is how it should feel. They are constantly cleaning the facility. Ed, the manager, works just as hard as any employee there. I go btw the hours of 8 am -6 pm. I am unsure if things will be different later, but I doubt it. Save your money going to other gyms if you know what you are doing and only need a place to work out. Best price and service.

Good price for a gym. Their rates change every month so be on the look out for deals.

A decent PF, but the floor design doesn't match what visitors want. The cable, dumbbell and smith machine areas are very cramped and crowded, while comparatively few people are on the cardio machines.

Bathroom area is too small given the high demand for showers at this location (more people shower at this location than I've seen at other PFs).

Staff is nice and attentive.

My sons gf is a member of planet fitness and was telling me how clean and low priced they are.
I went in today to take a tour around 2:30. The young man in the front showed me around and let me know that they were ranked 2nd cleanest gym! It looked very clean. He helped me sign up. I was sold on the $1 down and only 30 a month he said they are 24 hrs M-F

My sons gf gets a month free since I signed on under her and I get to bring a guest for free which is good!

I've been doing physical therapy and starting to feel okay to workout so I was looking at gyms and was sold on this one! I'll leave an updated review after a month or so.
I don't remember the guys name but he was really helpful and friendly and helped me download the app and went over it with me.
So for my experience today was 5 stars for customer service and how clean it was.
I'll check back in a month!

First time coming to the Walnut Creek location and I must say this is the cleanest planet fitness I've been to so far. I usually go to Concord planet fitness, but I'd thought I try a new place and take advantage of my black card membership. I went to this location in the morning around 7am and there was a little crowd but not too bad. I really enjoyed the black card spa, especially the hydromassage! The black card membership really does have its perks!

Member at various gyms varying from $25 to $200/mo. PF is limited on squat racks and free weights. If you're not a muscle head, it has plenty to suit your needs. It's always kept extremely clean. You can't beat the low fee and no contract!

The best planet fitness I've been too! Always clean, and plenty of cleaning supplies to wipe down equipment after usage, the staff is friendly and approachable, people seem to generally keep to themselves and are pretty good at not hogging equipment. The equipment itself is always working well and they have quite a variety of options. Definitely worth checking out if your local.

I like the gym, has everything you need, is clean, nice staff, accessible but the thing that gets me is that it isn't a consistent schedule on when they are open and they aren't 24 hours. I specifically go to planet fitness because it fits my hours and is cheaper than most. My boyfriend and I work late hours and it's a HUGE inconvenience when we go to the gym at 9:30 pm and they tell us we have to leave by ten on Fridays and they close at 7 pm on the weekends. It's a huge let down also because they advertise 24 hours operation but don't at only this location? In a good neighborhood? PLEASE CHANGE THIS PLANET FITNESS OF WC!!
