We've worked with Cameron several times as he has completed regular maintenance treatments in/around our older house. We appreciate he always calls to confirm the appointment and his arrival time beforehand, his promptness, and thorough level of service during every visit. Everything he has found (or not found), he communicates clearly and states his findings / service actions in the report. Appreciate he uses shoe covers indoors and let's us know where he places bait/traps, whenever they're needed. He even makes sure to place traps out of reach from our dog.

This company did a great job at my sunnyvale house. Indeed, this is the second company that I have them to do the inspection. Both the first one ( i don't want to mention their name ) and the second one (this planet orange ) did service to me before.

The first company (other company) miss the most important part of my house's termites at the center in the living room of my house.

David, the inepction man, fron planat orange is very careful and detail. He found out all the infection woods of the termites. Also, the teatment team from palant orange is very good and effectively.

Terrible service and support! Today was my first service day and the team did not do a thorough job in inspecting my home. They placed two rat traps at an arms distance in the attic and did not do any proper inspection about potential rat infestation at my property. The rat infestation was brought to my attention by a separate vendor who was working at my property and had to access the attic. I called the office to inquire about why was I charged a higher fee for the initial visit if a thorough inspection was not planned for. The response that I got was that "that's just the way it is" and that I would need to pay additional fee if I want to have additional inspections. What is the point of charging higher initial service fees if a proper and thorough inspection will not be done???
Also adding pictures of the sub par work that was done in other areas. They did not remove any cob webs from my patio even though this should've been included in the first visit. They did not remove cobwebs from patio and main gate. Have over 10 more pictures to share. Highly unprofessional

Planet Orange wrote a residential work authorization report for $2514.00. The estimator claimed it would take 3 or 4 guys a day to complete. Two guys showed up and left after an hour, claiming the work was complete. That is over $1000 per worker hour. I requested a partial discount claiming there was a discrepancy between the estimator and the field workers and WAS IGNORED. I feel swindled. Beware!

Responding to Scott - two men were only there one hour. We were present, Scott was not. Maybe they padded their time cards. There was a statement made to me that the job required 3 or 4 men when the estimate was made. why would I sign off on something that required no labor? I can't believe I actually tipped the estimator! I am in the construction business and get bids all the time. They did essentially nothing but spray with garden sprayers. Scott's warranty is only good if you call within a limited time. It is their promise, so it is essentially worthless. $2500 for 2 hours work! If he were a fair businessman he would offer some kind of refund.

We used these folks for several years but have started to see their service slide and inspections become sketchy. Understand it's a long way from San Jose down to Monterey area, but need accurate info and someone willing to show us video/photo evidence of termite activity before plunking down $$thousands. Shifting to another company after a disappointing engagement with them this year.

Service: They were great, easy to communicate with and answered my questions. They were on time, tech explained what they were going to do, they were in and out in an hour. Actual treatment took about 30 minutes. Tech suggested to call in a year to re-inspect the treated area. Work came with a two year warranty.

Cost: I did zero research on this so if I paid too much, then its on me. Our HOA management uses them, they scheduled the inspection, I just went with their treatment and got it done. I had drywood termites on one of the ceiling beams inside the room (not attic) and fungus/dry rot under the house. Quoted 1700 dollars, I asked for a discount and I got 75 off to take the next available appointment. Total cost came out to 1698 out the door, not sure how the tax was calculated. Hopefully that price is more or less average.

We were very happy with our most recent Planet Orange treatment for ants. We're on a bi-monthly schedule with them, but this is the first time Juan was our service technician. Juan was very knowledgeable and did a great job detecting where we had ant nests in our backyard. He treated those areas, and after just 2 days we're already seeing much lower activity. He also explained ant behavior, and was very patient with our questions. We'll be requesting Juan for future visits (though the company tells us they can't guarantee the technician will be available).

I don't normally write a review unless the service is excellent and this review is no exception. I currently have 2 Planet Orange monthly service contracts for general pest control at a primary residence and a vacation home located in the North Bay. This review is for the outstanding service Jonathan Smith provides at the North Bay location.
Jonathan is thorough, knowledgeable, and helpful! He identified a wasp issue last year and eliminated the problem. Jonathan is friendly, pays close attention when inspecting the house and surrounding area, and very conscience of appointment time constraints. (The service is scheduled a week or 2 in advance so I can be on-site.) He always calls or texts to confirm his estimated time of arrival on the scheduled appointment day. Jonathan's impeccable service has ensured the property remains pest-free.

Great service by Kevin S at our home today. He was very pleasant, explained things clearly and went above and beyond in performing the pest control service at our home.

Planet Orange does our monthly ant spray. We have a lot of ant hills around our property and a lot of construction happening in our area. This has caused an uproar of ant activity. Sophia is so diligent and thorough in tracking down nests. She listens to our concerns and directions and handles everything like a pro.

Side note, we have lots of animals. Dogs, cats, and chickens. She is always careful to not contaminate their areas. We really appreciate that because we have had issues with past companies.
