      I'm in love! Here's Why:

      Yum-Nua Barbecue Beef Mint Salad
      Tom Yum Soup
      Pad Thai Noodles
      Cucumber Salad
      Spring Rolls

It's all so Divine! It's also a cool spot to take in a delicious meal if you happen to be shopping in Walnut Creek. It's walking distance from the stores. Eat in or take it out if you are done with shopping. I believe they might be affiliated with the fabulous and delicious Little Plearn in downtown Berkeley, another heavenly host.

NASA asked me to create meals for the space shuttle. Thai chicken was the favorite. I flew in a fake space shuttle, but I have no desire to go into space after seeing the toilet -- Rachael Ray

One doesn't need to go to outer space to find good Thai food with great service. Right here in Walnut Creek is Plearn, and yes the toilets are nice too ;-)

Met two of my former employees for lunch and we were very impressed. Food was solid. I enjoyed the roti and basil fried rice, one of my lunch partners raved about his soup. What really elevated this meal was the kind and humorous service. They really love serving customers here. Located next to Prima Vini Wine if you need some vino.

      Highly recommended!

Amazing service! The inside decor is quaint and inviting. My water was always filled up on such a hot day! This is my second time coming here and this little gem of a restaurant is so good! This mom and pop shop serves authentic thai food with an elevated feel. Here are our ratings:
Pad kee mao (5/5) I got it with chicken, sooo good!
Green curry (kang) (5/5) the consistency is thick and so delicious!
Tom Kha (4/5) its just so good and its alot for just one person to eat!
Spicy chicken wings special (5/5) it has a kick to it for sure! So good!
Definitely recommend coming here and the price point is very economical! Such a little gem in downtown WC!

All these dishes were absolutely delicious. Every bite was an epicurean delight! We would definitely order them . again! (I forgot to take a picture of each dish when delivered to the table because we wanted to start eating! )

PO-PIAH-TOD : we asked for fresh Spring Roll instead of deep fried. The dipping sauces were a peanut sauce and a fish sauce . Both were so delicious! The fresh spring rolls were filled with slivered carrots, cabbage, taro, fresh shrimp, and bean thread noodles.

KANG - KEOW - WAN: Ground pork simmered in green curry with coconut milk, green beans , zucchini, bell peppers, bamboo and sweet basil. Not spicy!

MA-KUER-PAD : Eggplant panfried with ground pork, sweet basil, tomato, onion, zucchini, bell pepper, green chili and special Thai seasonings.

YUM-PLA-MUK : Fresh calamari seasoned with spices sauce, red onions, green onions, ginger, tomato, cilantro and fresh mint leaves

      Steamed Jasmine Rice

I have both eaten at Plearn and done takeout there. The food is always fantastic and the owner and staff extremely friendly. The prices are very reasonable and it's very accessible right in downtown Walnut Creek.

We've been passing by this place so many times and finally tried it. We got some regular Thai dishes like Tomyum, chicken satay and red curry with mango. Always order Thai ice tea with the meal as well. Everything was good and I was a bit surprised that it wasn't that crowded on Saturday around lunch time. The owner was super friendly, constantly checked on us to see if we needed anything. Their menu is pretty big so maybe we'll try other items next time. They do have fresh coconut at a reasonable price so you might want to check that out in the summer.

Food was good. Nothing exceptional. There are other places in WC that charge less for better food and selection.

Very pleasant & delicious lunch at Plearn Palace. The good service added to the comfortable atmosphere - especially appreciated the A/C on a sweltering day!

The restaurant was empty at 2:30PM today.
The waiter shows up wearing blue gloves as if she is cleaning. There was a repair man who showed up as we waited.
We had a to-go order: Pad Thai with chicken.
At home, we discovered the dish was dry, the tofu was burned, no crushed peanuts, no scrambled eggs, the bean sprouts were limp, no thinly sliced carrots.
The dish had no pad Thai taste.
One more thing, I had to ask for my receipt.
We were charged 19.95 for the dish but their menu price is $14.95 with chicken.
I called the restaurant but they are not answering and I was directed to their website.
We ate there twice in the last 15 days. At those time, we had a guy for a waiter. No problems with the pad Thai dish or their behavior.
Will not go back. Walnut Creek has other Thai restaurants with excellent pad Thai and service.

The food and the service were great. The staff was very personable and attentive. We had the Pad Thai and a dish with vegetables and basil and chicken. The only thing lacking is the ambience. They need to remodel the restaurant. It's a little old and dingy. We ordered spice level three which was pretty spicy. We would recommend level two. Otherwise, it was a very pleasant experience..
