Still somehow the best speakeasy in NYC in my opinion. I remember when it opened oh so long ago and was the first real speakeasy in NYC, and somehow it has stayed steady as being so great!

The entrance in the phone booth is enough to make this bar just so special, but the fact that nobody is standing and everyone needs to be seated with their party makes it just so much better in my opinion.

Every drink is out of this world. They make the best Ramos Gin Fizz in new york, but they also just have such a solid menu, that it's completely impossible to leave without having 3 drinks.

The food is nice and fun too, the Hanoi dog is great, the tots are good, it's just the right vibe.

Thanks for taking reservations now - I remember when you used to have to call at like 4pm to get in!

Have heard so much about this spot and have always wanted to go here so finally made it happen. We visited on a Monday and despite it being a weekday, there was a wait for about 30mins. We was greeted by Adam (had to use the cute little red phone to dial to enter) and was seated by the bathroom.
At first glance, I wasn't too pleased with the place; seemed like a regular spot especially since we were just returning from Paradise Lost.
Nevertheless, I guess we were there for the experience. We expressed to both Adam and Kay that we wished not to be seated by the bathroom and within a few minutes they were able to accommodate us to a much more spacious, non-smelly area. Kay, our waiter was very kind and helpful. Didn't have any food as we ate at the hot dog spoke before entering.
Overall, it was a nice experience since I hadn't been to a speakeasy in a while but I still don't understand the hype.

This speakeasy was super unique. Hidden within a hot dog store, you have to call them within a telephone booth. We had to ring a couple times before they picked up, but once they did a back door within the telephone booth opened up to reveal the speakeasy.

I walked in with a party of 6 but I think we got super lucky because a party was just leaving when we got there.

The actual speakeasy was dark and decorated with cabin-esque vibes, featuring animals and portraits on the walls.

They had a superrr extensive menu, I don't know if I've ever seen such a big one. I ended up ordering the quechua key and it was so so yummy. I would definitely come again, very unique experience!

Great experience as long as your make a reservation! My friend's husband booked a reservation here for her birthday and I'm glad he did because it was packed on a Friday night. It's a cool experience walking through the hot dog store and ringing into PDT, and the drinks were pretty fun too. I started with the Aromatherapy and wow it was strong! I then got the Tico Tonico which wasn't as strong but very refreshing. Interesting seating area with taxidermy on the wall and a paddington bear statue staring at us!

Located behind a telephone booth inside of Crif Dogs, the area was even smaller than I expected. Walked-in on a Thursday night and was put on a waitlist. Surprisingly we didn't wait long and was given a booth in about 20 minutes.

Suntory time machine wasn't as strong as I thought it would be, which I liked. I didn't taste too much fig, but it was an easy drink that I wouldn't mind having again.

Tried the Hanoi dog. Much smaller than I expected. The hot dog was okay. It had a nice bite. It didn't wow me too much. Spicier than I expected. Buns were soft.

Seems like they rotate their offerings every so often. There's a QR code on the back of the drink menu that has a list of other drinks.

We love going to speakeasies, and this one got rave reviews and justifiably so as the ambience, staff and drinks are amazing. We did make a reservation on Resy, for 7:25 on a Sunday. As we entered the staff was great as we wanted to take a video and pictures as we went in through the phone booth.

They seated us at a round, very comfortable dark booth and we started checking out the menu. We had 2 rounds of drinks and they were all great. Our fav was the expresso martini. Also ordered the tater tots and the impossible hotdog. We were shocked that even the food was great. Tots were crispy with cheese and bacon and the impossible hotdog was the best I have ever had.

We loved the experience and the staff was great. We asked for drink suggestions and she was able to describe each drink and gave us some info on the establishment. This was definitely a great way to enjoy an evening and would recommend it for anyone.

This place is a cozy speakeasy in St. Mark's where you ring the phone to get in! Luckily we were able to get a spot when we went, because last time I was told that the wait would be like 3 hours.

I loved the music that they played here, with a variety of vibes and lots of throwbacks. The drink menu was extensive but I enjoyed the NA cocktails more! The service is good as they're attentive and check up on you often and I loved that they also do your coat check as well (:

Imaginative cocktails and a solid fancy hot dog. This place is worth the swanky telephone booth entrance and wait.

Really cute speakeasy. Great atmosphere, wonderful drinks and an amazing staff. We were there celebrating a birthday. When our server found out she came with a special drink on the house with a birthday card signed by the staff. Service over and above!
