PPF Wrap Up

Ray replaced my front bumper PPF, which was originally installed by another shop, because road debris hit and tore the PPF. Ray was very responsive, answered all my questions, set right expectations regarding potential paint damage under where the PPF was torn and did a fantastic job replacing the PPF. His install was cleaner than the original work. So much so that I wish I had gone to him in the first place.

But what stood out even more than his meticulous work was how much of a stand-up guy he is. There was a small scheduling hiccup due to circumstances out of his control, and I had to make another trip to pickup my car. Not only was Ray apologetic even though it wasn't his fault, he also offered to pay for my Uber to/from the shop. My office is nearby and coming back later wasn't a big deal, so I didn't take him up on it, but that shows just what kind of person he is.

This is my 2nd car that Ray has PPFed for me. I had him wrap the entire front and side mirrors. Ray also tinted all windows of the car. FLAWLESS. The edges of the PPF are invisible and when there is a transition, the PPF is cut perfectly. This is the first time he has tinted windows for me. After comparing his work and craftsmanship compared to my other cars that were tinted.....his work is beyond theirs. From now on the only person I would recommend for tints and PPF is Ray. 10/10 5 stars.

My first impression of this shop was extremely positive, and it held up throughout the process. The shop is so clean you could eat off the floor. I got PPF on my front and rear bumpers and hood. He took the time to talk thru every Q I had about the product, process, options, pros and cons, and more. It was so nice to not feel like I was burdensome. My interest in the details was a match for Ray's style, as he is a craftsman. We were able to schedule without much lead time and the turnaround time was fast, too. Ray was professional, and also personable, dedicated, consistent and very thorough. When I picture generally wanting to hire a professional who is on top of their game, whatever it might be, Ray's approach is the dream scenario. If only everyone was on Ray's level! The next time around, I will hire him again.

Ray has worked on multiple cars for me. He is the best there is out there with quality and service. On My latest vehicle Ray installed a full frontal PPF and it is flawless, I have seen other installers and it comes nowhere close to Ray.

In the past he has done a full detail with paint correction after a body shop had to do a paint repair due to someone keying half of my car. The car ended up looking better than it did from the factory thanks to Ray.

Do not hesitate to use him.

Ray did a full frontal and front pillars PPF wrap on my Tesla Model Y. He started on a Thursday and had the car ready for pick up the next day on Friday. Ray demonstrated integrity in explaining what PPF was and was not.

Oh, most importantly, Ray did a great job. The car looks great. Negligible imperfections. I am a car OCD person and now have mind peace of mind against routine wear and tear...especially on the beautiful but flat Tesla front bumper. It was also a fair price for outstanding, old school artisan craftsmanship, and caring work.

The shop is clean, organized, and secure. A reflection of how Ray operates. I'll be back in 2 weeks for a checkup.

BTW: I met an auto repair shop owner having his top line all electric BWM SUV being worked on. He's in the business and said he goes to Ray for this type of work. More proof of the quality I just experienced.

I've reached out to 8 or so different shops for price quotes for full frontal PPF and Ray at PPF Wrap Up gave timely detailed replies to my questions. I decided to go with Ray as he had the most competitive prices, was in the city, used the thicker XPEL PPF, and liked that his shop was clean and orderly for this type of work. The additional piano black trims in the front I wanted were done for reasonable extra cost. I also brought door jam protectors I purchased myself that turned out to be PPF pieces and not stickers like I thought and he applied them no extra charge without any hesitation. Came back 2 weeks later and Ray did spot checks and cleaned up any overhang in the edges. The wrap looks great and is applied cleanly. Would recommend his shop for any PPF work!

Ray did a form PPF on my new Lexus LC. as with all the other reviews, his shop is spotless. He took the time to explain his product, the different types of ceramic the different types of PPF available to me. he also performed additional work that is not usually covered and I'm very appreciative his care ; the car really looks flawless. I went back to him around two weeks afterwards and he checked the PPF, cleaned up the scruff mark I did to the rearview mirror backing out of my garage. Excellent communication; work is done on time if not a little early. exquisite detail! highest recommendation!

Ray did an excellent job with my brand new Nissan Altima! I couldn't be more satisfied with the results. He had great communication on the phone and did everything according to plan. He's very detailed and an expert at what he does. I'm definitely going to recommend to all my friends. Solid work.

I sent Ray an inquiry many months ago after ordering my new car. His communication was top notch. He responded promptly with professionalism even though I did not have my car yet. When my car finally arrived, I called Ray and brought it in the very next day for front end PPF installation.
