Beyond incredible service. Always honest about the issues and how much it'll cost. They will for sure try to finish the service as fast as possible.
I only take my car there.
This time it was regular maintenance in addition to oil change.
Fantastic work.

I came in to schedule an appointment to drop off my car for a diagnostic / repair. Made an appointment for a week out. Dropped off the car and was told I'd hear back later that day. A few days pass and I receive a call at 4:40pm on a Friday asking me if I wanted the car for the weekend, I would need to pick up the car in 15-20 minutes. Being at work I couldn't just pick up and leave. So the car sat there until the following Monday morning when I called to see if they would have time to see the car. They said they couldn't tell me, and recommended me to pick up the car take it elsewhere.

I wasted 2 weeks and 2 Uber rides. I caution others when choosing where to take your car and give your business to.

Outstanding service, reasonable prices and integrity
Jimmy and Kris make a compelling team....very competent and customer focused. Precision does quality work, at reasonable prices and normally on time. But more importantly, Precision Auto embodies integrity with Jimmy doing what he does best and alerting you to things beyond his staff's expertise. Jimmy has adopted all 3 of my vehicles, a 2004 BMW, a 2007 Toyota Tacoma and a 2009 Volvo V70. He has made it possible for me to own older cars without any concerns for their reliability. And finally, none of this would be possible without the humor and excellent support of his assistant Kris...she keeps him on track. With over 3 years and a number of services for each of our vehicles, I think I have the necessary perspective to make a recommendation for Precision Auto's quality of work and business integrity.

When repair is needed, our go to shop is Precision. Always have felt that we can trust them to give us an honest evaluation and an honest price. We recently had to take one of our vehicles in and, even though it has been a while since we have needed repair, they once again came through with flying colors.

I've been having my vehicles serviced at Precision Auto care in San Leandro for over 25 years and that is the only car maintenance business that I will go to for my vehicles when they need service. Precision always services my vehicles so they are running smoothly. Thank you. 5 stars.

As DIY (Amazon parts type of guy), I was working on my AC system and needed to properly dispose of the freon. Called everywhere and had no luck and finally Kristen came to the rescue at Precision Auto Care. Jimmy not only offered the service, but also provided a fair fee (the guy is a riot!).

After making some major repairs on my 98 Ford F150, I came back to get the AC system recharged. Working with Arturo (one of the great mechanics at the shop), turns out I had bad part from Amazon and had to get it replaced. Arturo also pointed out some other items that needed attention (Arturo is da' man! This guy knows his stuff and SUPER friendly and helpful). Jimmy (tone at top helps! Jimmy was very helpful and friendly) was gracious enough not to charge me anything and let me know do a drop in the next day to get my AC serviced.

Finally, got my AC serviced up and running and had an overall great experience at Precision Auto Care. These folks know their stuff and highly recommend!

First time came had a great experience however changes came swiftly with second visit.
Check engine light showed compression defaults
and catalytic symptoms
Told catalytic converter was working and van needed a major tune up!!!
$1000 later driving off lot after Kris said everything was fix and i shouldn't experience any symptoms for what i came in for....
All symptoms still present
And apparently have a BLOWN HEAD GASKET
so engine needs replacement!!!! Basically charged $1000 major tune up for nothing when i can't even drive my car now.
They say they'll call you back....

KARMA awaits those that do wrong to others. Had to buy a totally new vehicle which I will be finding a honest shop to take care of......

You know I keep coming back here because my senior mom is always concerned about her Cadillac. But as I wait here Jimmy and his staff are so dang blasted cool other owners pull up as soon as they have a thought something is wrong with their vehicle and Jimmy addresses it and places his customers at ease! If your anywhere near San Leandro you should make Precision your mechanic shop!!!!

Jimmy and Staff are phenomenal! What a team! I'm really impressed with how thoughtful, detailed, knowledgeable, and friendly Jimmy is. He came HIGHLY recommended by my boyfriend who said he's been using Jimmy for 20 yrs for all of his vehicles plus his kids' cars, especially for inspections for purchasing used vehicles. My neighbor/friend ALSO highly recommended Jimmy in passing and has used him solely for years for all of her maintenance needs. Just rare to find a mechanic you can trust. Keep him saved in your bookmarks! He's worth the drive if you are in the Bay!

Had a bad starter on my Grand Caravan so with no hesitation I called Precision Auto to see if they could do it today and I was driving down the road in a few hours.
I have had other work done in the past and they always came through with quality work.
