Precision Body Shop & Detail

Honestly I did not want to make this review. I gave this shop many times to make my situation right but they still never completely addressed my concerns. Around 8 months ago I had the front end of my 2018 Shelby GT350 repainted by Precision. This was done under Ford factory warranty due to a defect in the paint. They sent my car to this shop because Serramonte Ford doesn't have a body shop. My paint was chipping off and you can see the bare metal in body panel. When I first picked it up from the Ford dealership after getting it painted, there was this brown material under the clear coat of the bumper. The service advisor from the Ford dealer told me I cannot deal with him directly at this point and that I had to go deal with the shop my self. So I went to the body shop and showed Anthony (an estimator that is no longer with the company) the spot under the clear coat. They tried to polish it out but they burned through the clear and they ended up having to repaint the bumper. I came back another time because I noticed that there was adhesive residue on the fenders. They made the argument that why didn't I inspect the car before taking it but there's only so much you can do in the bright sun light. A lot of major imperfections only show in certain light. Especially because my car is white, it's really hard to see in the sunlight. I come back again because there was still some residue. When I got my car back this time, it looked like someone took a razor blade and made a big circle on both of my front wheels. I showed this to Anthony and he told me to take the car home and that he'll send pictures to his manager. After a week or so I get told to bring my car back so that they can send my wheels to get refinished and repaired. I specifically asked them if it would look OEM and they told me yes. In the back of my head I already knew that a refinished wheel will never look OEM but I didn't seem to have another option. I went to pick up my car again only to find dirt under the finish on the wheels. They looked terrible. They had to refinish them 3 times to get a finish without a lot of obvious dirt under the finish. I picked up my car and I notice a black spot on my hood near the windshield wiper. It turned out that when someone at the body shop washed my car, they pulled up on my wiper blade when it was in the park position to clean under it. This is pretty normal to do on a lot of cars. On newer cars like mine the wipers sit lower on the windshield. As they pulled it up, it made a 1 inch long scratch that took the paint off the top of the hood. They should've paid more attention but I understand mistakes happen. I took it back and one of the owners of the shop (Lou) came out to see it. He admitted that yes this is their fault and that they were gonna fix it. After they fixed it, I pick it up only to find that someone inexperienced left swirl marks like what a rotary makes when used improperly on the spot where they repaired. I was told to come back another time so that they can polish it. I was never satisfied with the wheel color or finish so I asked the owner if they can purchase me new wheels because the ones they repaired looked terrible. He offered to refinish the rear wheels so that they all match but I wanted my car the way it was when it was dropped off. I After a month of going back and forth, Lou finally agreed to purchase me 2 front wheels and that I would give him old ones. I also told them that there was still adhesive and that the panel gaps were really off. He told me that he doesn't want me or my car in his shop anymore. He didn't want to take off the adhesive or fix the panel gaps. I also showed him that a part of my bumper was never staying secure to the body of the car and he ignored it. I felt like this shop kept thinking I was trying to get something out of them. I've wasted so much time especially because my schedule is packed. I always had to take days off school or work just to come back to the body shop. I was always calm and respectful with everyone at the body shop. The work here done to my car was terrible and now my car isn't the same anymore. Like I said, I never wanted to make this review. I gave them so many chances to fix workmanship issues and damages done to my car but they never wanted to take responsibility. Getting in touch with Lou or anyone there at the body shop was a hassle. Weeks of me leaving voicemails but no one responding. Terrible experience at this body shop. Please be cautious when working with them. They have no pride when it comes to the quality of their work what so ever.

I had some gnarly animal droppings that messed up my top coat. I brought my car to Precision Body Shop and they had my car nice and shiny again.

This place was recommended to me by Ford as I needed to fix/replace a damaged stripe on my car. Scheduled to drop the car off at 1 pm and it was ready by 5, and they washed it too! They included two free details because they couldn't locate the replacement stripes the first time I dropped the car off, to make up for the inconvenience. Things happen, I understand, no big deal! New stripes got ordered and I returned a week later. Thank you Jenna and the guys for the good work! If I need something similar done to my car in the future, I know where to go!

Only got a car wash but excellent customer service and a simple job was nicely done. Cool waiting room.

Had my window smashed with glass everyhwere and they were able to clean it up. Thanks!!

Will keep them in mind if I need any body work.

Go here! Stop taking your car to the horrible "car wash" spots and come here. Yolanda was so friendly and accommodating. I will be bringing all my cars here going forward.

Getting a quote from this shop is impossible!
It's been over a week and they still haven't responded to me my phone calls for my quote.
I took the car in on Friday morning for an estimate and the supervisor said I will have the estimate by that Friday afternoon.

Which never happened so I called back on Monday. The receptionist said it would be available on Wednesday late afternoon which still wasn't available.

I called the shop again the next day and still received the same response which was it will be available by late afternoon. Which also never happened.

This shop is not very good with us communicating with customers when it comes to quotes and whatever else their inefficiencies lies.

I'm sorry I every took the time to go to this shop!

I had house paint on my car and it was horrible, but the guys and girls at precision took care of me and literally gave my car back to me looking brand new. These guys put their heart and soul on their work and should deserve 6 stars. I highly recommend this place and will definitely come back

Precision Body Shop & Detail made a terrible situation the best, most satisfying that it could be for me.
11 days before I was supposed to drive to San Diego and 12 days before Thanksgiving, I got flat tire while visiting from out of state. Three days later , while still waiting at the tire center for tires to come in, someone broke into my car leaving the front driver side window smashed in.
I am worried, panicked, and stressed that I am supposed to leave town in 6 days and I am down to 2.5 of those being business days.
Precision Body Shop & Detail began with towing my non-drivable car (due to the flat). They then worked with me every step of the way as I navigated getting the car towed back to the tire center to have tires installed so that the car could be drivable, having a new glass installed despite the weekend and upcoming holiday week, performing their insurance appraisal for repair, AND were even able to give me an amazing detail.
They and Hermes made my time well worth it and the appraisal was not compromised.
The customer service was beyond phenomenal as they very well could have treated me like a numbered customer on their list. Instead, they ensured that my unfairly tight timeline was met.
They are appreciated more than they know!

Brought my genesis in for an exterior detail and they did not disappoint! You have to call and make an appointment to get it done and it's an all day process so make sure you have your transportation needs taken care of. I couldn't bring my car in the morning so I was able to drop it off the day before and they were very accommodating with my schedule. I had some cement spots that splattered on the car which has been bothering me for a while. Told them what I needed done and what areas to not touch because of fresh paint and they delivered. Overall, I'm happy with the outcome and would definitely come back for another detail.
