Premier Pools & Spas

Overall we are very happy with the end result and love our pool. We contacted Premier pools in late March and had a great experience with Steve Provost (our salesman) who was helpful and communicative throughout the build process. Our Dig day was May 20th and our pool was filled with water on July 20th. It took a bit longer for our automatic pool cover to be installed and final inspections to be completed.

Each crew that came out worked very hard and were courteous and cleaned up after themselves after each day. Nataliya at the showroom who helped us pick out our tile, pool color etc was also phenomenal and Lori in the scheduling office is also very kind and helpful.

There were some hiccups or things we were not very happy with throughout the process. We were assigned a construction supervisor to oversee the project, but feel that the amount of times he came to check on the project were limited. When he did come by, he seemed VERY rushed. We felt it necessary to inspect quality of each step along the way which is something I was hoping we could be more hands-off with (given the amount of money we were paying for the pool build). They do have other companies who work for Premiere to complete certain parts of the job (excavation, concrete). I think it would help the overall customer experience if the construction manager were to come out on the day of/next day after each step was completed instead of days or weeks later.

We were given conflicting information about access prior to our dig day that resulted in us having to have multiple conversations with our neighbor (who's yard was effected by access) and we were not happy about the way things started out.

There was an incident where our autofill was left on and had a leak which started to fill up our pool when it should not have. I understand that accidents happen, and the problem was mitigated quickly.

They were unable to provide us information about drainage and cost. I understand they do not know what existing drainage looks like until they start digging things up, but it was left to us to work with the decking company - who did an overall good job with the concrete but there were some missteps (like not going all the way out to the street with the drainage despite paying extra or not connecting the drainage where they needed to, as well as adding an extra drain on our neighbors yard). They also dont provide drain covers for the drainage they install outside of the decking, but it is required to have them for your inspections.

Like I said, overall we are happy with the finished project and love our pool.

We decided to go with PPaS without even really shopping around since they came highly recommended in the Sacramento Area and especially with friends and neighbors we spoke with. We were very happy with the process from design to build and were shocked how well they stayed on the proposed schedule. We signed our contract around New Years and were swimming on June 1st. Pool build started in the beginning of March and numerous people we spoke with couldn't believe how quick they were done.

Our designer Zack was very helpful through out the process and really brought to life they vision we had for our backyard. The builders and contractors through out construction were so kind and always willing to let our boys learn and be a part of whatever was being built that day.

Yes we have enjoyed our pool. But to say "impressive 15 years?" By making that statement, I'm guessing you maybe didn't expect the pool/spa build to last this long. Future customers should take note.

First of all I don't have 4 jets, I have 6. You obviously didn't do your homework. If adding a blower is something you do for nearly all your pools that have attached/built-in spas, then why not install it with the initial build. Were you hoping the spa would work without it, saving you money? Not sure the cost of it was in 2009, but to replace it today would cost $299.99. After speaking to Raymond, he didn't once offer alternative fixes. He just kept pushing the $140 service fee. He gave me the names & numbers of 3 other pool service companies. I chose not to take his recommendation about contacting the 3. Instead I contacted my pool guy and he said to check the breaker since those blowers rarely go out without first making loud whining noises. Well guess what, it was the breaker. Stupid me! So if I had agreed to your service fee, I would have paid $140 for a 5 second repair. If Raymond had suggested checking the breaker, which is something he should have known, instead of insisting on I pay the service fee, we wouldn't be here today. You should probably hire people that have a knowledge of pool systems. I just hope future customers will maybe think twice about hiring you to do their pools.

Premier Pools and Spas did an excellent job on our pool. Nash and Ruben have great customer service and attention to detail in explaining the entire process. They were quick to respond to our questions and concerns. Any concern that came up was addressed. On orientation day, Mark was great at explaining the pool pump and the process of maintaining the pool pump and cleaning of the pool. Overall, it was a great experience from start to finish from everyone and we have already recommended them.

Justin and Obie with Premier did a great job with my pool. Looks amazing! They kept me up to date on where we were at in the process and

Look at their work! Would not come and fix it. Blamed it on the subcontractor that they hired. Please be careful when dealing with them.

Disappointed they didn't want to correct their build quality and referred me to a third party for repairs.

Premier pools is a great company! The pool was done in 11 weeks, they were efficient, personable, and responsive. I really had a great experience and I'm glad I picked them!

Premier pools did a fantastic job on our pool we couldn't be happier.

The whole process was a pleasant experience. Communication was excellent, our sales rep and foreman kept us up on every step of the process. If we had any questions or concerns our foreman was on site within an hour or so to make sure things were right.

The price was very competitive and kept us informed when payments were due in advance.

The workers were very professional and respectful of our property. They always showed up when they said they would. They kept the worksite clean and neat. We had a difficult backyard to access and I'm still amazed at the skill the excavator had getting through such tight spaces without causing any damage.

Our pool was finished in less than 4 months even though we had some bad weather. The crews were back on it as soon as weather permitted.

Julian our pool guy did an awesome job and answered all our questions. He explained everything we needed to do to keep the pool sparkling clean.

We have no regrets, if we had to do it all over again we would go with Premier. You would be hard pressed to find a better pool company that has everything dialed in like they do.

The premier pools team exceeded our expectations. They were very proactive and communicative throughout the whole process of construction of our pool. From choosing the tile and other additions such as the waterfall and hand rails, the premier pool team helped us make this experience easy as first time pool owners. Highly recommend.
