I went on the weekday so there was tons of parking. I am sorry I don't know where it was exactly.

What a beautiful public park in the Presidio with amazing views of the Golden Gate Bridge, the Bay, and downtown. This has plenty of benches, picnic areas, natural climbing structures, and hands-on activities for kids 1-12. It's also lovely enough to visit without kids if you want to relax in a clean, well-maintained outdoor space.

There is surprisingly a good amount of parking, as well as a free shuttle. On weekends there are pop-ups for coffee and ice cream. There are also bistros on-site. Double check the rules about dogs beforehand--it is on National Park land.

They put an incredible amount of detail to this space. It's beautiful and large and while on top of a busy freeway it still feels like you're getting away from it all.

I initially was here to take my kids to the park but we did some exploring of the grounds on a weekday of course because crowds are not for me or my kids! The space is amazing and so vibrant. We caught SF on a a moody but warm day. We went to the visitor center, found the clean coed bathrooms, and explored all the grounds till we made it to our destination. Definitely a beautiful space on the off peak times. A tourist destination for sure but very nice space when it's not crowded. I can imagine this space can hold so many people. Pass for me because I like to run, play, skip, and hop in peace. Food trucks of all varieties and just so many cool spaces to chill. We enjoyed our time!

What a beautifully renovated space that uses both the landscape and the hills and it is just a perfect spot to bring kids to play and experience San Francisco at its finest. You get amazing views of the Golden Gate, Bridge, Alcatraz, and the city scape with open lawn and amazing places to sit. The weekend when we went, had food trucks and music, and it was quite lively despite the cold weather we encountered.

We also grab some food nearby and they have an awesome spot to get hot chocolate and tea if you need it. I will definitely return when we are back in the Bay.

Visited San Francisco with my parents and brother for the day. Decided to visit a place new.

Wow- Presidio Tunnel Tops was beautiful. An unexpected beautiful space. Very peaceful.

The day was very clear- we could see Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, San Francisco skyline and Palace of Fine Arts.

There are lots of seating areas, picnic tables, a natural looking playground, lots of flowers and bushes.

It is probably very busy on the weekends.

Definitely visit this gem! I want to come back with my husband and kids.

I don't normally write reviews for parks, but here I am raving about Tunnel Tops! A quiet oasis on the outskirts of the city, this well-designed park has one of the best views of the Golden Gate Bridge on a clear day. Perfect for a weekend stroll and great for families with young kids, since it's mostly flat and has an amazing play structure.

Paid parking only in the Presidio, but easily accessible by bus.

I came here for an evening walk with my friends on a sunny winter weekend and was absolutely delighted to get some brilliant views of the SF Bay area peninsula.

The Tunnel Tops allow you to walk all the way down to the beach from the parking area and while parking can be a pain sometimes, I'd recommend being patient on weekends specifically.

There's ample seating spots available throughout the area so you can always grab a quick break if and when needed.

Beautiful add on to this original park . Paid parking or you can take a shuttle up to the location . I haven't been in a few years , but just as serene and beautiful as ever . Great views of the golden gate and now a new park for the kiddos down at the bottom of the hill with an interesting concept that encourages imagination and creation . Love it.

This place is breath taking. Great for a scenic walk, picnic, Disney museum and just watch all activities going on.

Expect to see many friendly dogs, laugher all around and stations for learning about nature around. Did I mention the AMAZING SCENERY? Give this place a visit, it is worth it hands down!

What a refreshing addition to the Presidio!

Fam and I would usually visit the Presidio for the food trucks and picnic area and now there is another expanse of beautiful landscaping, ample seating, educational and entertaining areas for kids, more food trucks - all
with gorgeous views of the iconic Golden Gate Bridge (on a clear day that is).

I've been here twice so far and it's simply beautiful and relaxing walking through the park, breathing in fresh air, spending time with fam. They have fun top-like seats that let your weight guide the direction you spin in the elevated area, playgrounds and a field study house for kids on the lower level. There are public restrooms, water fill stations, outdoor picnic tables, wind-blocked seating, grassy areas for picnics- this place has it all.

There is paid parking near the food trucks and in the perimeter of the Presidio square.

SF has a ton of parks you can hang out in but this park offers amazing, unobstructed views of the Golden Gate Bridge, the city skyline, Alcatraz, etc.

I usually hang out in the grassy area where you can lay out a blanket and enjoy the views. This park is so clean and I hope we keep it that way! There are also several benches, seats, and tables. There are also several picnic tables with grills that can be reserved.
