I called to get information on the drive belt for my washer. The person was
professinal and called me back with details on the drive belt that will fit in
my washer. They were out of it and she gave me names of two other
appliance repair companies who may have in stock. One had it. Thanks!

I recommend Pro Appliance in Merced. They were sent to me by AMS to install my dishwasher. The Customer Service Person from Pro who coirdinated the service went above and beyond to help me. I recommend them to friends and family living in Central Valley California.

I can recommend Pro Appliance without hesitation based on our experience with washer repair. We are happy that we followed other reviewers to try Pro Appliance, since we had no local knowledge.

I had someone come out to do diagnostic on my stove which is vintage. 2 burners were not working and 1 only works if you turn it on along with the other burner. The electrician told me only 1 needed to be replaced and he would call the next day after researching parts. Over a week later I received a call and informed them that indeed 3 are not working and I was told they would send out another repair man to do a diagnostic free of charge and would call back later that day. 5 days passed and they finally called to close out the work order and informed me I would need to pay another $140 for diagnostic even though it was not properly done the first time. I do not recommend this company at all.

The technician John was very thorough and found the problem with my 13 month old washer. Unfortunately the insurer of the product is delinquent in resolving the issue but John was very professional and honest!

Excellent service and Cody was a great technician. He explained everything and took the time to get it right. They tried to come right out and we did not have to wait very long at all.

They fixed our washer on the second visit. Their company policy is to charge you for the first visit and they reiterate that policy on the phone before they send their mechanic out.
Personally, it felt that we were getting gauged for that first visit. A reputable company would have credited the amount paid to our bill. After all, the JOB was not completed. Secondly, I asked the two mechanics if I could clean under the washer before they reassembled the dryer back on top. We are senior citizens and doing that for ourselves is difficult. The one mechanic said he couldn't because it was too heavy. A little kindness goes a long way.

Hello Victor. This is Richard, the customer who left a negative review recently about being charged $75 for a service call, that my handyman already remedied. To the best of my memory, this was on either June 2nd or the 9th. Pro appliance was contacted by River Drive Properties to inspect a refrigerator at 1799 Glen Ave. The technician arrived maybe 3 or 4 hours later and was told by the tenant, it was fixed. We made several attempts to cancel the service call but were only able to leave messages on the voicemail. The property manager deducted $75 dollars from the rent they collected and claimed that the cancellation was denied. I'm at 209-756-7184, if you wish to discuss this. Call or text.
