Pro Movers

I reached out to multiple moving companies prior to choosing Pro Movers. The main reason I am giving the company 3 stars is because the manager contacted me to call them to discuss a quote.

I called on 2/16/23 and spoke with Devin to schedule some movers for 2/18/23. I was told that I would need 2 movers and 1 truck and that there was only ONE availability for 2/18/23 for 9-10am. Devin quoted me $149/hr.

However, a few hours after I scheduled this move, my boyfriend decided to call Pro Movers. He was speaking to Diego, who let my boyfriend know that there was another availability for 2/18/23 and that it was $129/hr!

How interesting that we were quoted two different amounts for the same address for pick up and drop off!

However, our experience with the movers on move out/in day was exceptional. The two movers carefully wrapped and carried all of our furniture in a timely manner. We didn't have a lot of furniture that needed to be moved. But the movers arrived around 9:45am and finished around 11:45am. I would definitely recommend Pro Movers but hope that they can give more accurate quoting prices.

We have used Pro Movers several times over the last few years and have always been impressed with the quality of service. Their rates are very competitive, and the front office will work with you to ensure your move is set up for success. On a few occasions, we have had to make last minute changes due to the chaotic nature of moving, and they have always been accommodating. The moving crews are respectful, efficient, and most importantly, they are careful to ensure that our belongings are packed/transported safely.

Most recently, we used Pro Movers to help move our business to a new location. This was a big move for us, and we had a lot of stuff. Our moving team, Alex and John, arrived on time with positive energy and got right to work. They went above and beyond to help support us with our move, and we couldn't have done it without them!

I get it. Moving is a pain. We made it painless today with Saul, Omar, and Enrique who are PRO's! Great communication, on time arrival, worked efficiently and carefully, -
and good attitudes in the 90 degrees. Thanks Saul, Omar & Enrique for your great work today.
We'll be using Pro Movers in our next moves.

I contracted Pro Movers to move my mom from Palos Verdes to Mission Viejo and they called when in route and arrived on time. The crew of Matthew and Robert were phenomenal. These two moving warriors worked professionally and hard while ensuring that all items were wrapped and placed in the truck with care. I was so impressed by both Matthew and Robert as they were both knowledgeable, friendly and very professional as well as courteous. Matthew went over the contract on arrival and then we did a walk through. These guys went the extra mile. Robert even washed the outdoor items and dried then before loading onto the truck. I must say that I have moved 9 times in the last 11 years and these two men made it look easy and enjoy what they do and make one heck of a team. I will definently use then on my next move and highly recommend Pro Movers and Matthew and Robert to anyone considering a move. The value is also quite competitive and my choice after interviewing several companies.

Movers were great, Robert and his teammate helped moved my stuff on August 2, 2024.

The customer service department team is also great, they answer the phone and reply to emails on time.

During my initial inquiry, the customer service representative quoted the following:

1) $129/Hour for Two Movers + Truck (I have attached image)
2) after 3 Hour Minimum it's charged on 15 minutes incremental (Drive time included if under 3 hours)
3) Double Drive Time

The total move lasted 4 Hours and 15 minutes:

Breakdown: 3 Hour 15 mins Move time and 1 hour drive time ( Plus additional hour of drive time which is termed as 'Double Drive Time') which brings the total to 5 hours 15 mins

John Rose, the General Manager at Pro Movers reached out to me and resolved a billing issue.

I understand sharing information when asked for pricing, etc. but every single day receiving a message trying to push for someone to schedule just doesn't work. It irks me and I'm sure many others. Please learn to give pricing and check in less frequently that'll probably help your sales. I'm a sales person too. For us people looking for movers, it's best for us to get pricing and we will proceed with who we please. Thanks.

Omar and Robert were amazing!!! Fast, friendly and efficient. They moved my 1 bedroom apartment & unloaded in exactly 3 hours! (Which what I was hoping for) I was very happy and would recommend them and Pro Movers to anyone that wants stress free moving. The company was very organized with great communication.

We used ProMovers to move one of our smaller offices into our large one. Great pricing, super friendly, got the job done quickly and safely. Great Company!!

So update since the owner replied, I called company twice and both reps gave me the run around on me trying to submit a request the fixing of my items. He said I never called. Yes John I did, I work in customer service so I know everything can get fixed with a call. You just reached out to me because of the bad review. Your movers said they would send someone to fix my furniture the next business day, the guy that was supposed to fix my stuff just called yesterday to come during the weekend. I'm out of town so I can't, I told him Monday would work after I get off work , he said he would call back w the time and he didn't. So please don't say I didn't try because I have and obviously y'all are just giving me the run around .
