Most of these plumbing techs are like used car salesmen w/o the polyester jackets. They'll size you up and determine how much you are willing to pay, then jack up the price some more . . . I've had them all (Drain D _ _ _ _ r, Roto R _ _ _ _ r, etc) over to my house at one time or another and each time I write out that check, I've felt like main sewer line wasn't the only thing that's been reamed.
