The expanse of the Williamsburg bridge and city skyline against blue skies sure makes for a gorgeous backdrop to this 18 hole mini-golf course. The course is also meant to be educational, with each station exploring and explaining climate change issues affecting our planet. In short, educational mini golf with a view.

Going through the course left me with a heavy, dystopian feeling actually, reading about rising sea levels and the increase of extreme weather events in our lifetimes while playing mini golf and feeling kind of helpless to enact meaningful change. But we are supposed to be alarmed by what we learn here. Like hiding medicine in your fun. To their credit, they worked with artists, designers, environmental advocacy organizations and public agencies to create a course that is both aesthetically pleasing and easy to digest. You do come away with some understanding in your individual role in the climate crisis and what we can do to combat it.

Even if you take the time to read and take in the info at each station, as we did, you can complete the whole course in about an hour. At $10, this is completely worth it and a fun little activity for an afternoon. I brought my sister, who is an adult with autism, and she loved the views and the colorful design of the course. Though it was a beautiful Saturday afternoon, it wasn't crowded so we leisurely worked through the entire course and took our time taking in the skyline views and digesting all that we learned from the course.

I saw this place on instagram and have been wanting to stop by. It seemed like a very popular place because it was packed, so there was a bit of a wait when we got there. The course itself was fun and very scenic because it was right on the water. The designs were so unique - I've been to a bunch of different mini golf spots, but never played at one like this. I just wish that they served beverages because it was so hot out and we were thirsty. Aside from that, it was a lot of fun!

Great place to check out with kids or just for adults. It is an 18 hole mini golf course with great views of the waterfront. It's right by Domino Park. Each hole states the different issues and solutions for climate change that we are going through. Very creative how each hole is designed.

They're opened all through the week. Monday - Wednesday from noon until 8pm. Thursday - Sunday from 10am - 8pm.

Spent some time here with my nephew and partner, who is an environmental attorney rather liked the climate change theme of the courses. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 kids/seniors - which isn't too bad.
My only complaint is that they just offer juice, no water or anything else - you can bring your own food and drinks (non-alcoholic though).

Recommend visiting Smoragsburg after, it's just a few blocks over!

I heard about Putting Green via littlekidbigcity_newyork's Instagram. We came on a weekday. We spend about an hour here mini golfing and enjoying the views. There were a bunch of kids when we were here, and we didn't play the entire course in numerical order. We played at other courses that were less busy and then returned. There were some courses that were quite difficult to putt the golf ball because the intricate designs of the course. Each course also has notes about the climate change.

The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for kids/seniors.

The price is cheaper when you come on Wednesdays before 5pm and Saturdays before 1pm. Then, the cost would be $5 for adults and $2 for kids/seniors.

It's definitely a fun experience here. And you can also visit Dominio Park afterwards which is a quick walk from Putting Green.

This mini golf place in Brooklyn is pretty nice. I love how they incorporate information about pollution and climate change into the experience. The artwork adds a nice touch and creates a fun atmosphere while also educating visitors. However, there are a few things that could be improved.
Firstly, there are holes on the ground that can be a bit troublesome. If your ball goes off track, it can accidentally fall into these holes and you might lose it forever (it almost happened to us, which was a close call).
Secondly, some of the art pieces in the game can actually become obstacles for your ball. It can get stuck in those areas, and we had to bend down and get creative, using our clubs like pool cues, just to free our balls.
One downside is that they don't have a bar or a place to buy water. Since it can get pretty warm in there, it's a good idea to bring your own water bottle.
Overall, it's a cute place with a decent price, and we had a lot of fun. I would definitely consider going back again.

Honestly, when I saw the photos, I thought that view was just blown out to look beautiful. Well, I was happily wrong!

The view was absolutely REAL. (But looked unreal!) It was probably one of the best views of the skyline in the city ever. For the price of $10 each, we had access to not only a stunning waterfront but plentiful mini golf. I'm talking a full 18 courses! Each course was FUN, unique, creatively made, and was paired with an interesting fact about the environment and sustainability. There was also upbeat pop music blasting from each of the courses.

It's a vibe here! You definitely have to check it out, not only for the cause, but because it's super fun AND educational! I would totally come again.

Awesome mini golf course! For $10/person, you can't beat the view! The course is difficult but so fun! They put a lot of work into each hole with the decor and obstacles. Perfect date spot!

I went with some friends on a cloudy Saturday afternoon around 2pm. It was crowded; we had to wait 5 min or so between holes! Each hole had a theme and some signs that gave fun facts about the environment and sustainability.

Definitely check this out! I can't wait to go back! Better and cheaper than the new Pixar mini golf course!

Played a round at Putting Green on Sunday afternoon. A cheap and fun way to spend an hour, just be aware of the weather when visiting.

Quality: Putting Green is a unique miniature golf course that combines science with fun. It is a fun concept and a good time. The holes have a varying degree of success, some much more elaborate than others, and it feels a lot like an art exhibit. The biggest issue for me was a complete lack of shade. It was unbearably hot on a summer afternoon.
Quantity: It is an 18-hole course, each hole requiring around two to five shots.
      Value: $10 for Admission.
Ambiance: Putting Green is a miniature golf course located along the water in Williamsburg. They have 18 environmental themed holes along the dock. It is pretty well designed with unique facts to turn the experience into learning with fun. Some holes are much more challenging and well-thought out than others, but it is a good mix. However, be aware it is fairly easy to lose a ball out of many of the holes.
Crowd: A few small delays moving through the course because of distracted children, but enough holes to be able to move around them.
Service: Staff regularly circulating to keep the course clean and moving.
Parking: A fair amount of nearby street parking.
