Diana S.San Lorenzo, CA0312May 24, 2024Janette is AMAZING! I've been going to her for YEARS and when she moved to Rachel Grace Salon, I was so happy she was closer to me! She really listens to what you want and will work with you to get that perfect look.
While she does incredible vivid and pastel colors, she's also a pro with the natural colors too. I just went from blonde to brunette and couldn't be happier!
Also, the salon has such a cool vibe as far as decor- neon signs and big vintage mirrors. Everyone is super friendly and welcoming too!

Love my hair done by Karina! I can tell she really loves what she does as she works like a well oiled machine. I have super long hair and she worked so quickly and efficiently. I asked to start the process for grey blending and she was very honest and up front about how to transition to get to that point. She gave me highlights and toned it as well as a beautiful layered cut. She also sent me home with knowledge about at home hair care and what the next steps would be.
The salon itself was super cute and clean. I loved the music playlist they had as I didn't even need to put my AirPods in. Definitely a relaxing space for some me time. I can't wait to come back.

She always makes sure to make you feel as comfortable as possible and always brings your vision to life. Hair is always a process so be patient with it and she will make it happen. She's a hairdresser that became a friend! I won't change her for anyone else she recently move to a new salon and I told her I would follower anywhere she goes as long as she's happy where she's at. My hair appointments are so therapeutic because she's always there and gives good advice I enjoy every minute of it.

To be transparent, I'm adding the last text I sent to Andrea yesterday:
"I do appreciate you trying to help me but honestly, I did not get a "full service" and you should have charged me less. And you really should've told me the gray coverage was an extra $50. I work really hard for my money and I expected much more. Especially choosing you to do my hair before my wedding. Idk I feel like I got robbed big time and I feel like I should be refunded some of my service"

I heard about Rachel Grace Salon when they first opened and really wanted to try them out. I finally decided to make an appointment to get my hair dyed for my wedding.
I booked with Andrea and I was pretty disappointed when I got home. I booked a Full service with a cut to be on the safe side, since I know nothing about hair, thinking Andrea would help me figure out the perfect color. Wrong. I do like she covered my grays but my hair BARELY looked different when I left. Of course, I have anxiety and wasn't sure how I felt when she was done and had to people please by saying I liked it. But when I got home, I seriously questioned why tf I spent $450 on this hair when it looked the same!!! I worked a ton of overtime in order to treat myself to new hair for my wedding and couldn't be more upset about it. I feel robbed!! She also did not mention that "gray coverage" is an extra $50. Why wouldn't you tell your client that? Ugh, I don't recommend.

This salon is clean, smells good, nice environment and good music! Would recommend this salon for anyone looking for a new spot. This is my 2nd time with Janette and I won't go anywhere else! Try out Rachel Grace salon, you won't regret it!
