Raintree Car Wash & Detail Center

Raintree Car Wash and Detail Center is the only car wash I have been too where there is a chicken walking around like he/she owns the place. It's the type of car wash where you drive up and hook your car onto the rollers as it goes through the wash. When you are done with that they hand dry and make your car look super nice. If you don't want your car to go through the wash you can choose to have them hand wash it. I like Raintree because they don't try to sell me a million things I don't need. They also do a good job of cleaning my car where I don't have to wipe it down before I get in and drive off- unlike a nameless car wash in San Rafael. If I am paying to have my car washed, I actually like to get my car back cleaned. As in nail salons where I am convinced the tail techs talk bad about the customers in Vietnamese, I am convinced the same thing happens here but in Spanish. Oh well, as long as my car is clean I don't really care. Prices are reasonable, I definitely frequent this car wash about twice a month.

Too fast rush job... petaluma doesn't have a reliable "quick service car detailing business " that I am aware of. So I return to raintree knowing I will be disappointed... always car has soap residue and many missed spots... I would pay more for a better job. I feel bad for the work workers as they seem to rush frantically as if trying to meet a quota and there work is poor.

We came back from camping and took our car here to get washed and inside cleared out from debris. We paid $40 and as we drove away, we realized that the carpets and seats were barely vacuumed and the mats still had dirt and dust all over them so we had to go to the gas station and re-do it ourselves. This was a one and done situation. Hopefully this review will save some folks from wasting money here!

My daughter took my car to get detailed they said it was going to be $27.99 then $25 extra. I have a toddler so I said fine.... $50+ it looks like this. I called and said it would have been an extra $12 for the floor mats. What was the $25 up charge for?!.Kid on the phone even said most places don't charge Extra for floor mats but we do. 0 stars.

Will not be back.

Have generally been happy with the car wash work here but I have to give a failing grade on the job done yesterday on the interior of my car.
A lot of areas on seats and inside door panels just blatantly missed. I got home and probably spent more time cleaning the interior than they did. Not what I would expect for $34

Everything you heard from the low reviews is true this place has gone down hill. They don't clean cars or at least wipe them inside decent but act like they work hard and they don't. It's hard washing cars but also with that many people they can accomplish something better. I worked at a car wash when I was younger and my manager was always making sure the cars were clean and ready to go and not rush. People pay good money for mediocre wash. Makes a drive through a car wash a lot more satisfied. They left my car untouched inside and the out side so wet it got water droplets. Service is 2/10. Quality has reach 1/10 and value well they charge so much for bs.

This place is not as good as it used to be anymore. They don't wipe down the inside well enough anymore. We used to take all of our cars here and they would come out spotless. We would drive from Napa for that but now, it's not worth it anymore. Do not bring your car here. The Works Plus is nothing but a quick wash & dry now, despite what's advertised on their bill.

Please read: On Feb 2nd 2024 at about 11am, I came to get my 2016 Corvette washed. Front desk person was courteous. But when I proceeded to get my car washed by the 4 employees in the washing section, my experience changed completely. They were speaking in Spanish to one another about me and my car. They first started talking about how my car was a "waste of money, high monthly payments and had a high price, for what?"

The comments didn't stop there as they kept egging each other on. They saw a booster seat in my trunk and proceeded to make a comment about how I don't have enough space in my car for my kid's needs. Continuing their ignorant statements about someone they know nothing about. You can imagine how unprofessional and foolish they were, not knowing Spanish is my first language and I could hear everything they were saying. I imagined how many other vehicles and families were insulted behind their backs as they directly contribute to the continuing life of this business and the jobs those employees have.

I'm an Army Veteran born from immigrant parents and started with nothing. I work in finance. I worked my butt off to purchase a car I've always wanted. I have an SUV for the kid's stuff. Im also 28 years old and felt that this was the result of an envious group of people seeing someone as young as me with a nice car. So they felt the need to cope by making rude comments about me to one another. Very sad.

To the business owner, you understand the importance of a good customer experience. Unfortunately, you hired a few employees who lack common respect and courtesy. Im hoping to get a response on what your next actions are for addressing this issue. Thank you!

UPDATE 2/10/2024: Owner reached out to me, investigated the incident and had a word with his crew. Hoping the behavior truly changes going forward. Happy to give 5 stars after seeing the changes implemented.

Extremely disappointed. This is starting to be the new normal feeling when I drive away. Sunday morning wanted to get my wife's car cleaned for her. I have come here for so many years and have seen the attention to detail diminish greatly. I pulled my car out of the tunnel pulled up and got out of the car. I saw the whole back of my car was covered in soap. I asked nicely to have them rinse it off, they started drying it off with towels saying it's ok??? I was angry because it's a brand new car. You're not supposed to dry any soapy substance off with towels that's why they have a rinse cycle at the end to wash all the detergent off. I have been coming to this car wash for as long as they've been open and buying Wash passes. as soon as I use all the washes on my wash passes I will never come here anymore because they just don't care anymore. The quality of work is terrible. For the last two years or so I have to go home and always go over my interior and exterior of my car because they never clean it properly like they used to. Shame on you Manager for sending me away telling me that it was normal for Soap to come out all over your car.

Their process has you sitting in your car w the car running for half an hour. Really bad for the environment. Also, unless you remember to bring cash, you can't tip because they don't have a cash machine.
Their entire process is pretty small minded. I won't be going back.

My "not good" rating is a message to the management folks who treated me disrespectfully when I was told before driving off that they would not be cleaning my carpeted floor mats for the extra $14 I had paid. They only clean rubber floor mats. The workers who cleaned the car all seemed to work their butts off under the harsh eye of an unpleasant manager. I give the workers each 5 stars for their hard work and diligence. My car is nice and clean, but the management's treatment of me was very insulting. Also, my friend's car was immediately in front of me when we arrived, but his car was ready 20 minutes before mine was - no explanation on that....
