I wouldn't believe this story if I wasn't a witness to it. ALL TRUE, I SWEAR....

A large rat took up residency in my garage during a 3 month remodel. During that time I spent $100's on traps and poisons to no avail. A security camera setup in my garage showed the bastard eating the peanut butter off the traps as he set them off 5 separate times without getting caught. Adding to the misery, he chewed holes through my drywall into the house 3X, causing my contractor extra grief and throwing my budget out the window. After the 3rd break in, I called Gilbert for an estimate and we met yesterday. As I entered the garage to show Gilbert the camera and video, the furry Satan scurried past. Without missing a beat, Gilbert asked for a stick (I had a flagpole nearby) and within minutes, had him located and exterminated in a quick and painless hand to paw combat.

I believe he should rename the company THE RAT WHISPERER or RAT ASSASSIN, as I witnessed both of those traits firsthand.

After watching extensive video of the rat's past exploits, I think this was the only rodent in my garage/house. IF I'm wrong, I will be calling Gilbert post haste. The company came recommended from a co worker and I obviously will be recommending and telling everyone (who will listen) that I watched a true professional in action!!!!

Gilbert is a true pro - we call him "our hero" in our household! He delivers great service, quality, and communication. He is someone who goes the extra mile and has the right sense of humor and compassion in a tough line of work.

He helped me out when I was in a big pinch with a very unpleasant pest (sparing the details here). His communication and value was great - he is head and shoulders above other places who never called me back or gave 5-business day turnaround times. Even though I hope I never have to deal with pests again, I'll be calling Gilbert if I do!

After reading all of the five star reviews and thinking they might be too good to be true, they aren't. Gilbert and team deserve 10 stars. My carpenter uncovered the kind of pests none of us want, feasting on some water damaged wood. Gilbert came and treated that immediately. He went the extra distance working hard to do so in less than the best of conditions. Then oh yes, the other kind of pest of the rodent variety had left an epic nest which he politely removed. Finally months later when the siding touch up and exterior painting was done, he got in my crawl space and completed the inspection and preventative treatment. Gilbert is kind, honest, accommodating. He came exactly when he said he would and went the extra mile. Ratman couldn't have been a better experience!

Hire Ratman, no need to search further. Gilbert has gone above and beyond in every way. We had a rat in our house that was tearing up our plants and burrowing in the walls. I called Gilbert, and even with his busy schedule, he made time to come by the same day when every other company I called couldn't come for 2-3 days. He did an inspection of our full house, and was incredibly transparent and knowledgeable about what to do and how to tackle the issue. He set-up a trap that day, and it was complimentary with no commitments. The next morning, we caught the rat and we then had him to rat proof our whole house. His team of Javier and Andres did a very professional job and we haven't seen a rat since.

We also recently had a skunk that seemed to spray near our house, and we called Gilbert up - and again, same day made time to come by and check things out while driving between jobs.

He truly cares, he's fair priced, practical, highly skilled and knowledgeable, and he's proven to always be there when in need.

It's hard to find an honest, hardworking company like Gilbert and his team. Before finding Ratman Pest Control, I had another company come out and try to upsell me for a $30,000 rat slab!

When I called Gilbert, he was able to fit me into his schedule pretty quickly. He arrived right on time and walked around the perimeter of my house, explaining everything as he went.

I have a deck in the backyard that has always been an issue. Gilbert explained that he could trench the deck and use steel mesh to prevent rodents from digging underneath. I've also had problems with animals crawling underneath my bay window, which Gilbert said could be wire meshed as well. He also checked the garage door and chimney area (similar to the bay window situation) with suggestions to improve those areas.

Setting up an appointment was easy, and one of Gilbert's team came out to do the work. I am so happy with the results! The deck and bay window look great!

It has been a month since completion and I haven't heard anything since. I am so confident that I won't be hearing any more scratching noises and that the rodent problem is gone. Thanks again Ratman! I can sleep easy knowing that my house is safe from those rodents.

Gilbert and his crew are fantastic. Gilbert truly has expertise and knows what he's doing. very professional, timely and friendly. We have used Gilbert twice for both rats and squirrels chewing through our roof. Gilbert quickly and successfully resolved the problem and we have had no issues since.

Gilbert's work not only gets the job done but the way he rat-proofs the house and garage leaves everything looking neat and professional. At our house, he covered vents that lead under the house and into the attic, plugged holes and even added wire to the bottom of the garage door to prevent rats from sneaking in. His combinations of wire, cement, bolts, rubber... all winds up looking clean and solid. And most importantly, the rats are gone, and he guarantees his work. First-rate from start to finish.
