I received a great service on multiple occasions with Coleena. One appointment was for a haircut & blowdry, the other was for highlights.

Eddie did an amazing job cutting my hair - I went in with an idea of what I wanted but wasn't sure if it would work well with my hair and face shape, so I asked him to use his judgement and expertise to figure out exactly how to cut it. I asked for bangs and he made sure I knew how much work they would be before starting to cut them; he also cut them long at first and then gradually shortened them until they suited my face, as well as blending them in until he was satisfied with the overall look. I absolutely love my hair and I have received so many compliments on it, both from people I know and from random baristas and cashiers!

The salon itself is lovely and clean, with lots of plants growing everywhere. I would highly recommend Reconnect Hair Design and Eddie!

I had the most pleasant experience at Reconnect Hair Design! I tried to schedule a last minute trim for my bangs online, and accidentally didn't finalize the request. When I showed up to the salon, they kindly informed me that they didn't have an appointment for me, but would see if any of their stylists were available. Their stylist named Trish was able to trim my bangs. Trish was professional, kind, and she really listened to how I envisioned my bangs to look. And let me tell you, people keep complimenting me on how cute my bangs turned out. Reconnect Hair Design could have easily turned me away for not scheduling correctly, but they made an immediate and sincere effort to accommodate me. I am very grateful considering it's the holiday season! Thanks Reconnect & Trish.

My husband and I had the same hairstylist in LA for more than 10 years. We loved him so much! Since we moved to the bay area, we kept trying different salons to find the right hairstylist! But none of them were as good as we wanted them to be. Finally, my husband found the best hairstylist here! He has been to Eddie a few times and he has loved his haircut each time. He even claims his haircut is the best he has ever taken! So, I also decided to try Eddie as well. He was truly amazing! He knew exactly what he was doing and he did a great job styling my hair the exact way I wanted it. I highly recommend him!

They say walk-ins are welcome. But not really. They just say they are fully booked and send you away :)

He's been cutting my hair for probably over 10 years now, and he's one of the most genuinely down to earth, caring people with a true talent for cutting the styling hair of all types. Lang is your girl for amazing color. She will shoot you straight and help you make the best decision on hair color. She always exceeds expectations and is incredibly kind soul and super knowledgeable with her craft. I would trust no one else with my head of hair!! This dynamic duo is unbeatable!!!!

almost 4 years later and still feel the same way as my first review. Paul welcomes you in like family, no matter who you see. My teens have their favorite stylists and I just had a great cut with Eddie this morning.

I feel more confident, polished, and attractive after each cut. And they teach us to style because a good cut isn't just the one time, it's every day after.

Very poor discriminatory service. They are all individual contractors here. You have to call their cell phones to make appointments and pay by cash or Venmo. I called both Daniel and Eddie on a Monday morning and left voicemails. Today is Friday, and Daniel never texted or called me back. I guess he is excessively busy to accept new clients.
Eddie texted me back on a Wednesday and we were texting back and forth to find an available time. He mentions a future date in which he is available. He then proceeds to ask for my picture to see my hair. Odd thing is, only after I send my picture, does he magically say he forgot he had someone booked that day/time and pawns me off to a completely different stylist saying she is good. He doesn't give me any other future dates possible nor does he respond back to me explaining why I cannot come and why he is refusing me altogether. This is just pure racism, or at the least discrimination as it was only immediately after I sent my picture. We all know CA has a large and thriving Asian population. Good luck being racist here - might as well move elsewhere with that mentality and aggression. I will take my business elsewhere. I'm not going to pay $125 plus tip for a haircut for discriminatory service like this.
