Guys, you need to call Charles at Red Lilly Plumbing! Charles and his crew are my go-to plumbing resource and truly indispensable. And if you are a landlord like me, you know how important it is to know a good plumber. You need someone who is going to answer the phone and show up when you need them. That is Charles, and that is his team. Seriously.

In the years that I have worked with Red Lilly, they have saved me time and again. Just to give you an idea, Red Lilly has done: 2 beautiful main drain replacements on two of my properties (including concrete), reinforced my gas meters when the earthquake valves kept triggering from vibration, handled a dirty re-pipe to correct the angle of the pipes, replaced toilets and faucets, troubleshooted high water bills, and installed descaling filters on my tankless water heaters. They have handled some seriously stinky jobs and left my property smelling like roses.

Most recently, Red Lilly replaced the last piece of non pvc drain pipe that was about to give under the house. As usual, they arrived on time, every member of his crew was courteous, answered my questions and kept me updated on the progress. The jobsite was clean when they were done, they took away the debris, and I knew the job was done correctly.

In addition, Charles is a gentleman who stands by his work and calls to make sure things went well. And the office staff (Hi Michelle!) are wonderful and very responsive.

Don't be silly. If you call someone else for your plumbing stuff, you will eventually call Charles anyway. I did. I fired the other guys when I met Charles. I'm pretty sure you will, too.

The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because the job was just done on the day I am writing this review. So, I'm hoping the job was done well, and I won't tell until time passes by.

I reached out to four other vendors, one of which charges an estimate fee that I don't think businesses should do. These types of services are already expensive as it is, and paying an additional or losing $89 isn't ideal. However, they did charge by the hour, and I likely would have saved some money, but Edward, from Red Lilly, was the reason I chose them. I just got a great vibe from him. The first company I also reached out was cool, too, but I went with my gut. The third company's estimate was MUCH higher than Red Lilly.

The two technicians that came out were nice. I was disappointed that Edward didn't come back, but I understand that he dispatched his team. I'll be using them for another service as soon as I am able monetarily.

I had a bathroom that had been out of use for years until we recently remodeled. Excited to try out the new plumbing led to disappointment with a blockage. Our contractor came back, snaked it and thought he had cleared the problem. a short time later, we were still backed up. Red Lilly Plumbing was very helpful on the phone, and they did quote me an approximate price to clear one drain. They called when they were on their way and came within their appointment window.
Because of the description of my problem, the two techs (I believe their names were Sal and Charles) brought in the camera first thing. I questioned, how much more will this cost? and he said, half the time the camera could clear the drain and there was no extra charge if this didn't work.
The camera didn't clear the line, but it did give some insight to a possible bigger problem. He tried snaking it a couple of times and revealed roots in the line. This was the last thing I wanted to see. They gave me a reasonable quote to replace about 20' of old pipe and said they could do it in a day or two. But because I am who I am, I called my contractor to see what he would charge to replace the same amount of pipe with new PVC piping, and I was surprised that he was 20% higher.
They came back and at the end of the job (and the end of the day), They saw something they didn't like so they asked me not to use the bathroom and they would come back the next day. Apparently, there was another small section of pipe past the area that they had fixed that also needed to be replaced. I wasn't sure how much more this would cost me but to my surprise, there was no extra charge. They also included a cleanout so future blockages would be easier to deal with.
I believe they're a small family business and I do appreciate working with them. Their employees were professional, well-seasoned and cleaned everything up at the end of the job. There was also great communication throughout the job. I will hire them back if I have any future need.

Ozzie came again because problem returned. Lot's of water backed up. He was so kind and hard working and professional. I really appreciate his work.

I highly recommend Red Lilly Plumbing. A couple years back I remember calling them with an inquiry about a house we nearly bought, and the person I spoke to was highly knowledgeable about what I wanted installed and it was super easy to make an appointment. I ended up canceling because we didn't end up buying that house but always kept them in mind, after that interaction.

Fast forward to today, I needed some work done at my house and Red Lilly was the only company I contacted. Mike G, my plumber was prompt, professional, and very knowledgeable about my specific tankless water heater. He found solutions for me at reasonable costs, and am I highly satisfied with the work.

I'll be contacting them for all of my future plumbing needs for sure!

John Welsh and an assistant came and replaced our water heater this morning. They did a great, professional job, finishing quickly and efficiently, and had a friendly, good-natured attitude. Highly recommended. They really know their stuff.

After the Gas Co. found a leak and turned off my gas, Charles from Red Lilly Plumbing came to the rescue. He found 7 leaks, and brought his crew to fix them the very same day. His workers, Guillermo and Wilbur were terrific. They arrived on time, were professional, efficient, cleaned up the work site, and were very polite. I couldn't have been luckier in my choice of gas plumber.

Second time using them and couldn't be happier!! Ozzy fixed my issue in about 30 minutes and was very professional and nice. They text you when they're on their way or if they're running late. Highly recommend them!

Nice enough people but cancelled so many times without warning or often just wouldn't show up.

We used red lily 5 years ago and had the worst experience I've ever had with plumbers. When the sewer injection pump that we think was not installed correctly began to fail, we were hesitant to call them. But thankfully we did. They got their people out quickly and we met Charles, a straight shooting old-school plumber who has returned to the job years after hearing what was happening with the business he built. After seeing what we were left with, hearing the challenges we faced, and seeing receipts for the exorbitant amount of money we paid them, Charles made sure to do the best job he could for us free of charge. Our pump was serviced, recalibrated and installed correctly, and he didn't scream at me for 30 minutes the way his partner did years ago. Charles has built new faith in Red LIly and I hope their business continues on this trajectory.
