Red Rock Pools

We decided to install a lap pool for exercise purposes in 2021 and contacted three different pool builders serving the Sonoma County area. All three gave us bids on the size and location of the pool we proposed and cost estimates for completion. Two of the three companies could not start construction for many months due to other business and their cost estimates were more than we wanted to spend. Bob, the owner of Red Rock Pools committed to beginning construction within 60 days of a contract, and quoted a price below both of the other companies.

Bob started as committed and offered suggestions along the way which we incorporated and made the project even better than we had hoped and we were very pleased with the final product, it has met our expectations and we are enjoying the pool every day now. And an additional benefit is to have a water source near our home in Fountaingrove in the event of another fire!

I guess this company used to service pools but switched to building pools a few years ago. I couldn't figure out the bad reviews but I think that's when the switch happened. Either way, they know A LOT about pools and have been working in the industry for decades! It so nice to have this experience and refreshing to have honesty when going through this time consuming process. We feel lucky to have found Red Rock Pools and appreciate Bob and his crew.

Bob the owner of red rock pools put a heater in 11 years ago and when I gave him the coupon he sent out in the mail he wouldn't honor it so we had him come by to clean our pool and he wanted to charge us 150 dollars when he sent out coupons for 125 dollars what a joke doesn't honor the coupons he sends out I think that's illegal

A very nice guy, but not good for a long term pool guy. Just received a one sentence letter saying he is cutting his business down so no longer he can serve out pool. Isn't the goal of a business to grow? I believe he quit on us because we made sure he showed up each week. A few times he would not come and we would have to ask him where he was. Like I said very nice guy, I wouldn't hire him.

Bob thank you very much for you service. I wished you would have told me that you were not going to be servicing my pool
anymore instead of telling my friend whom I referred to you. I had no idea that you did what I was having someone else do. Why couldn't you say hello that's what I do but no instead you drop me like a hot potato for not being loyal. I just referred my friend to you how is that not loyal. So anyways thanks for the years you made my pool sparkle. Too bad this ended in a Big misunderstanding! Sorry and good luck. Things happened for a reason so onward I go!!!

I recently spent over $750 for another pool company to try to clear up an ongoing algae & filtration problem with my pool. The only problem with spending that much money was the algae never completely went away and the other pool service company advised me to have my pool re-plastered(!) because they believed the pool surface was too rough, causing the algae to keep coming back.
I called Red Rock Pools on a Friday late afternoon and was able to set an appointment for the next day (a Saturday) for an evaluation. Bob did some water testing and then explained what the real problem was and fixed the problem on the spot for $200. The next day all the visible algae was gone and I did not have to spend thousands of dollars to re-plaster my pool. If you're looking for a knowledgeable & professional pool service company and don't want to waste money and time, I recommend Red Rock Pools.

Bob Bob Bob! Where have you been for the last 18 years? I have had nothing but problems with my pool. I have called so many people to come fix it or help with it and never had a good response until Bob. He came out and assessed the problem. He said he would be back with the parts in a couple of days and bam there he was. He fixed the problem in 2 hrs and now my pool is running and looking great. You are my superstar! Thank you, thank you, thank you! If I could give you more stars I would.. I hope these will do? I highly recommend Bob!

We feel so fortunate to have found Bob. Bob is dependable, extremely knowledgable and trustworthy. Bob is very conservative when he feels a repair is needed and only when all options are explored does he recommend replacement. I have recommended Red Rock pool to a number of our friends and everyone is grateful to be using this pool service. Bob shows up every week,without fail, and takes real pride in his work. Our pool looks amazing thanks to the great care Bob routinely takes when caring for our pool. I cannot recommend him enough!

Red Rock Pools is wonderful, effective, and affordable. Bob is honest and very, very good at what he does, which is to keep your pool sparkling. We were using a much more expensive service, and our pool looked terrible, even right after they came. It was almost 3 times the price! Then we found Bob at Red Rock Pools, and our pool has been GORGEOUS, sparkling like a turquoise gemstome ever since, from week one. He even managed to clear up some of what we thought was permanent dirty staining on our concrete, just by use of his regular chemical service, no special cleaning or draining, scrubbing, etc. The pool looks great for the first time in years! Bob and his son are responsive to problems and breakdowns, will come within a day or so of when you call them, and easily reachable by phone. I can't recommend them highly enough; it is such a relief to have such a beautiful pool again and not have to go broke with a hefty bill every month. Definitely hire Red Rock Pools for your pool service!
