Regal Beagle

I have eaten here many times. There's not much to say. It's a pub with pub food. Burgers and so on. They have TVs showing sports. They allow dogs on the patio.

Like many said, this is simply a neighborhood pub and that indeed is exactly what it is. Not a nightclub, fancy restaurant or clique establishment. Rather, just a homey place for locals to get a cold drink and some grub. We had the Smash Burgers and they were perfect. Well cooked, good size and thankfully a good portion of "REAL" fries not the frozen ones. The inside decor is.... well homey. Everything looks like it's been there for a long time and just seems like your typical dark pub decor. The Service was O.K. not super fast but attentive and friendly. The only comment or recommendation I would make is to fix the wobbly tall tables as we sat at two of them on the east side with our full drinks sloshing around and over the top when we leaned on the tables, which is annoying and please wipe the top of your tables CLEAN as both those tables and the large pic-nic table we initially tried to sit at out back were sticky and full of drink rings. On the whole I would certainly recommend this pub to anyone with modest expectations as it's certainly an acceptable place to grab a Burger & Beer!

I would go but they have a policy to only accept reservations with management approval.

Quick review: Nice spot for Philadelphia Eagles fans but otherwise, meh.

Joined friends here for the Cowboys versus Eagles. As a Cowboys fan, it is slightly unnerving to walk into a den of Eagles fans, but these folks were relatively polite and not threatening; this is Canada, not Philadelphia. LOL

Ordered the chicken tenders and fries. They were... okay. Nothing special -- portion was average; taste was... fried. At least it wasn't especially oily. But for $16, it was not a great value.

We found free parking in the neighborhood, though there is pay parking at meters on Broadway. The service was friendly enough, if not super attentive.

Bottom line: What I was really buying was time with friends at a football game. With that as the goal, this place worked out fine. I doubt I would ever come here at any other time.

Excellent smash burger! Awesome wings! Clarke the bartender is professional and knowledgeable. Just don't go on a Maple Leafs game day. You will be asked to move if your seat has been previously reserved. Even if the hockey game doesn't start for an hour.No exceptions. This is a Toronto bar. For better or worse.

There's nothing wrong with The Regal Beagle: It's a pub and that's what you get!

The draft beers were just fine! The spicy wings are outstanding! And the television sets have all the sports your mama will allow!

Service was attentive and friendly.

This is a neighborhood pub, it's not fancy, but what's important is the people that work here and the customers that keep coming back! The bartenders and servers are fantastic! I have read reviews of poor customer service, and honestly, like most pubs and restaurants... people come and then they get fired! The peeps I know have been here for sometime and they are gold. Clark, Kate, Jason and Carla..... I get hugs from these wonderful people and my drinks are always full! They make the effort to learn your name and if you think they don't know you, you are wrong, they do! (if you keep coming back that is!)

There are definitely no watered down drinks here! Drinks specials are great and varied! Double highballs for $6.75 tonight! Shots of Tequila for for $4, tacos for $3!!!! There are specials everyday!!! Wine selection is small and could use improvement. If you like red, order the The Show. It's about the best u will get here unfortunately.


I like the vibe and the decor. It's laid back and comfortable. Not dingy. Dimly lite. Great music (big on classic rock!). There is a patio with a West Broadway view :) great for smokers right on the side walk. That's hilarious because I am a respiratory therapist and yet 1/2 my friends smoke.

I also like this place because I am a local here and I like to know the people I drink with, even if I don't know them that well. Lots of familiar faces because they live here too!! I have celebrated New Years here, St. Patrick's day, friends' birthdays, Halloween.... Like I said... It's not fancy, it's not a club, it's a down to earth, chill neighborhood pub l, and yet, it's not a dive bar, but you can get some great deals!!

I have seen some great celebrations here and I will keep coming back.

Food wise... They make great Poutine and you can ask for the junior size if your a lady!! Very tasty and u can add chorizo, egg or bacon!!! They also make great pizza. It's new pizza. I really enjoyed the chicken pesto!!

You know how you know you are at a really great neighborhood pub??? After you spend an hour being "served" by these wonderful people... They get off shift and stay to have a bevi!

Absolute gem in Kits! Staff is great and the space is great for a game night or simply a pint and a newspaper. Pub food is as you would expect, traditional and tasty. COVID protocols are great, and the back patio is like no other in the area!

I love this place! It's great every night of the week but especially during philadelphia eagles nfl games. A large group of eagles fans meet there for every game. Food staff and patrons are wonderful! GO BIRDS!!!

Got to visit here recently and loved it! I was traveling in from Philly and was looking for a place to catch an Eagles game. Was stoked to find the Regal Beagle and a lively bunch of Birds fans enjoying the game. I'll definitely be back!
