After an estate sale, I had a lot of stuff from my Mom's house; mostly furniture and assorted odds and ends. After taking pics of the items and sending them to Remoov, they told me the pieces they thought they could resell & the pieces they would recycle, and quoted me a price for the pickup. I deleted some items, and added others, and they were prompt to provide a revised quote. Among my 'resale' pieces were a huge dining table, with a credenza and china cabinet that did NOT separate; they were in one piece. I also had a huge electronic organ, with the foot pedals. Sil and Clint were amazing; they managed to tape up and move the credenza/china cabinet, having to do some fancy maneuvering to get it out the door. And after studying the organ, they tipped it up on its side, and voila, the pedals detached! Sil and Clint were very careful with all the pieces, loading them carefully into their truck and then securing everything with straps before they left. They were also very polite and friendly, even considering all the heavy lifting and maneuvering they had to do. If you've done all the research, and you're at a loss as to what to do with your stuff, since Salvation Army isn't picking up on the Peninsula at all right now, Remoov is the way to go. Yes, it will cost you, but since so many "donation" sites are getting increasingly picky about what they will take, Remoov is an excellent alternative.

Robert and Hugo did a fantastic job taking care of my brother-in-law's possessions. We would use them again without question.

TLDR; be mentally and financially prepared for items marked as "resale" to be changed to "recycle" on the spot by the team who comes to pick up your items.

The team of men who hauled my items away were great. However, I have to give one star because I felt completely blindsided by Remoov's process. When they give you a quote, they don't make it crystal clear that items marked as "resale" can be changed to "recycle" on the spot by the movers. If this happens, and you decide you still want them to haul the item(s) away, you have to pay a disposal fee.

In the end, a $252 disposal fee was added to my original quote of $465 for a whopping total of $717. Unfortunately, I needed the items out of my house ASAP, so I reluctantly paid the fee + 25% tip. I'm not complaining about the tip because that was obviously my choice, but my point is that this service ended up costing me far more than I was expecting.

Reached out to Remoov to haul my treadmill. Hugo and his team arrived early, disassembled and moved this heavy, bulky item down a flight of stairs! They were professional, friendly and respectful. They moved furniture around and was able to do everything so quickly. Couldn't ask for a better experience!

I recently enlisted Remoov's help when working on a purge of items in storage in my garage. I found the experience to be very straightforward and a huge help in my efforts. From the initial submission of descriptions and pictures of what I had for pick-up...to the response indicating which items could be sold and/or donated versus what would be recycled...to the actual onsite presence to load up my mountain of stuff into their truck. I even had to cancel my first appointment at the last minute due to SF DPW suddenly ripping up the street in front of my house that morning which made bringing a truck to my house impossible...the Remoov customer care team were extremely helpful in getting me rescheduled for a couple of days later. The onsite team of Hugo and Robert were very friendly, professional, efficient and quick. Thanks to all of the Remoov team for making this experience painless and fast!

TL;DR: Hugo team is great; Resell-able items turn out to be not resell-able; expect a minimum 15% tips.

Hugo team did a good job in removing my items including a super heavy 200 lb bulky coffee table, without damaging any part of my property, they are professional and highly recommend them!

However, I do have some complaints about the company itself. I chose Remoov because they claimed that two of my items can be sold, but when they check in person, they said the conditions are not resell-able, and they would in addition charge me extra recycling fee. So keep this in mind when you are comparing prices with other junk hauling services. I had another company doing a in person check and the price was $150 less, if not for the resell ability I would have chosen them, especially they provide same day service while I need to schedule Remoov one week ahead. So be cautious when they say something is resellable, they won't do any touchup and won't look closely at your photo, make sure your item is in a VERY GOOD sellable condition before choosing them.

Also note that tips are not included and they will present you a screen with minimum of 15% tip.

Just had my items picked up so this review is for the movers. Hugo and his partner were great! He called in advance to give his ETA. When they arrived they were friendly and efficient. I wish everything involved in my move could be this easy!

The web flow all the way to quote generation was actually pretty good and as advertised (get a quote next day etc)
Everything else was a disaster. First appointment is canceled the night before, someone calls to offer a 10% discount and a priority spot for the next window. They run late for the 2nd appointment, at which point it's pretty much radio silence, no one picks up the phone or bothers to send any updates. Finally got a call from their support team asking if I would be ok to reschedule for a 10% discount (mind you this is NOT an additional 10% on top of the original quote). I politely declined and finally get a call from the driver 6 hours later at which point I was no longer interested. Great idea, just bad execution.

I can't express enough how pleased we are with the services provided by Remoov for our recent 6,000-square-foot office move-out. We were faced with a tight timeline, and Remoov not only met but exceeded our expectations.

From the moment we reached out, the Remoov team was responsive, clear, and attentive. Luis and Soran took the time to understand the intricacies of our move and provided a plan that put our anxieties to rest.

For each of the two days (on a weekend, no less), the Remoov team arrived promptly, fully equipped, and ready to tackle the challenge. The crews were professional, courteous, and well-organized. Each team member knew their role and handled our furniture, electronics, and other assets with care and some serious strength. At the end of the weekend, the office was fully cleaned out and ready for its next tenant, thanks to Remoov.

Remoov was able to resell a lot more items than we anticipated. Things like break room board games, holiday decor, surplus office supplies, etc that we thought would have to go to a landfill. And most things sold at a price higher than we expected. Those that couldn't be sold were donated (we got the tax donation receipt), and the small remainder were safely disposed of.

Remoov turned what could have been a stressful, chaotic experience into a smooth, well-coordinated operation. Their attention to detail, professionalism, and efficiency are truly commendable. I would highly recommend Remoov to anyone needing to remove their clutter, be it residential or commercial.
