Rhizome Urban Gardens

Used Rhizome for a year or so. They are extremely nice people and would come monthly to trim the trees and plants in our backyard in SF.

The challenge really came down to cost. My tenant offered to do it himself for less money, which was a win win scenario all around.

Best money spent on gardening. Love the philosophy of Rhizome gardens. I learned so much about organic, environmentally-friendly gardening from the coaching program. I was able to apply the skills to not only the immediate project at the time, but also several other subsequent projects.

I first contacted Rhizome Urban Gardens when another landscape architect failed to deliver back in 2016. Asha was prompt in her response and listened to what i liked/wanted. We then collaborated on what my garden could look like given the landscape, climate, and irrigation options. Asha and her team designed, prepped and installed my garden in less time (and within budget) than the other landscapers I had worked with previously. I like that Asha provides environmentally friendly options to my garden challenges and teaches me some of the maintenance I can take on myself to reduce ongoing costs. The Rhizome team is honest, reliable and knowledgeable. They are my go-to people with everything garden related.

rhizome urban gardens specializes in organic vegetable gardens and
permaculture, but they do ornamental landscaping too. they're big on
teaching, so if you want to learn, they'll come out and work side by side
with you, explaining why and how to do everything. asha came out and
helped me with some garden planning and weeding, and she was very friendly
and knowledgable. i'd recommend them.

I hired Asha for a garden consultation for my roof garden. She was incredibly knowledgable and taught me a _lot_ about gardening. She's very patient and a very good teacher, and did a fantastic job guiding me through everything I need to know and do to raise a variety of plants from seed, as well as care for the plants I already have.
