RJ Travels & Limo Serivce LLC

I was in the Bay Area for a quick, two-day trip last November and enjoyed about half a dozen rides in the careful confines of Gurvinder's fleet. The drivers were very professional, and Gurvinder made scheduling incredibly easy. I even had a surprise stretch limo show up at my hotel on my last morning to take me to the airport.

My travel was paid by a third party so I don't have a sense of whether RJ Travels is unusually (in)expensive or not, but in every other way, traveling with them was a delight. If I need to hire a car in the Bay Area again, Gurvinder will be the first person I call.

We used RJ Travels to take us to and from the airport in a stretch limo. It was an amazing trip that was made even more fun and special by starting off and ending in style. RJ Travels was so easy to work with. They were very prompt and great at communicating any details that needed to be taken care of. Will definitely use this company again for future limo needs.

I really like using Gurvinder. I live 2 miles from SJC, but so often there's no good way to go there, and for the cost of leaving my car for a few days, I can just pay someone to drive me in a nice car.

Gurvinder is efficient, responds to you, and his drivers are super helpful.

If I'm traveling somewhere where I don't need a car-seat, Gurvinder's been able to store it for the duration of my trip.

I imagine I pay a slight premium over a Taxi, but it's usually not that much.

$30 + tip to transport my family a few miles, safely, comfortably at the crack of dawn, isn't too bad in my book.

Contacted RJ Travels based on their awesome Yelp reviews and because I thought my usual firm was a bit pricey. Ended up booking a reservation with the owner of the company... these guys are GREAT. Awesome Towncars, with some vehicles that have Wi-Fi on board in case you want to work to/fro.

It was my family and myself returning to SFO after a vacation. Booked the evening before our return... the driver (Gurvinder) was there on time, kept a check on flight status (he knew our flight was early and actually was waiting at SFO around an hour ahead of the scheduled arrival). Picked us up, helped with luggage to the car and then from the car to our home.

I can't recommend these guys enough. EXCELLENT service, and, best of all no hidden fees. I've dealt with others who have a surcharge to use a credit card, and then another fee/tip for the driver. RJ gave me an all inclusive charge without anything hidden.

I happened to ask about prices to SJC/OAK which were also very reasonable. I work for a major networking firm and plan on utilizing them when I travel on business.

I could not recommend RJ Travels more highly. Gurvinder and his team are absolutely top notch.

Without a doubt, the best car service in the bay area. I have used RJ Travels to take my visually impaired daughter for airport and work rides for about two years. They have never failed to be prompt and courteous and always exceed expectations. In one case, they responded with less than two hours notice for a pickup.
I get text messages confirming pickup which greatly eases my anxiety when daughter is traveling. The cars are always clean, the drivers friendly, and in short, this service cannot be beat. You can pay the same or more to other limo services, but you WILL get less.
Highly recommended is an understatement.

We use Rj travels quite a lot at Mozilla, and I can't recommend Gurvinder and his team enough. Always on time, highly professional, extremely flexible, and always willing to accommodate us. In terms of car service, there is no better in the Valley!

I thought I had reviewed RJ Travels earlier this summer, but apparently it never got posted or it got taken down (weird, b/c it was a 5 star review!). Here are my thoughts:

Pros: Gurvinder is very responsive over email, and quotes very fair prices. The bus showed up on time and was fine, although the bus driver parked in a sort of hidden location that made it hard for our guests to fine (many ended up taking taxis). That said, the bus driver was contracted out by Gurvinder, so is not actually RJ Travels from what I can tell.

Cons: The day before my wedding, I had emailed Gurvinder the exact trips that were to be made, so that everyone would be on the same page. Because we had booked using the minimum hourly blocks (he said 3 hour minimum blocks), I assumed we could add extra trips (the trips were only 3 miles long). My two extra trips were apparently NOT OK, as Gurvinder objected to them immediately, saying we would have to pay extra. I asked why then there was a minimum hourly charge. He responded that all the other companies charge 4 hour minimum blocks (this is true), and so I should have to pay for the extra trip. After some back and forth, he ended up keeping the same price, which was WONDERFUL, but it was added stress that I wish had been avoided right before the wedding.

I tried this service after browsing through Yelp and different sites since I need a taxi service that would take me to SFO but could also accommodate a car seat for the ride. Gurvinder was the fourth person I contacted and although he wasn't able to provide a car seat in the cab, he was extremely polite and earnest to help. He even referred me to a couple of other cab companies that I could try. I finally ended up carrying my own car seat but called Gurvinder back for the service.

The service was absolutely amazing. The driver was on time, courteous, helped me with the luggage and got us to the Airport in time. The vehicle was immaculately clean and well kept with no odor whatsoever, which was great. I am definitely going to seek Gurvinder's services again and the only reason I rated a 4 instead of the 5 was because of the unavailability of a car seat. I am guessing that's more an area of improvement that anything.

I have been using Gurvinder and his team for 5 years now, both for business and personal use. These guys are the best and have never given even the slightest of opportunity to lack in any area whatsoever.

They are always there at the time you need them day or night, and generally before the time you had asked them to arrive. Their rates are very competitive, in fact cheaper than any other limo or taxi provider in the area.

I have recommended them to so many of my colleagues and friends and all of them have had the same great experience as described by the other reviewers.

Clean comfortable personalized service and to top it off equipped with the latest technology whether it is wifi on board some cars or credit card use with email receipts they provide a wonderful experience unlike any other !

I had a very comfortable journey to and from San Jose Airport made more pleasant by an awesome conversation with Gurvinder. The car was clean and spacious and the service was excellent. Highly recommended!
