I worked with Robert many times rehabilitating my property for new tenants, fixing the cabinetry, appliances, electricals, irrigation, landscaping, painting, and consulting on the business.

Working with Traci and Rob was a delight. Their excellent communication set the foundation for a smooth experience. Their team proved to be dependable, efficient, and delivered top-notch service. They also demonstrated flexibility and punctuality throughout the project.
We needed to replace some siding on our townhouse due to dry rot, which was particularly challenging given our HOA's stringent regulations. Such repairs usually cause us considerable anxiety. However, from the initial inspection to the final touches, Traci and Rob's personnel showcased their expertise and offered smart solutions to expedite the work without compromising quality.
Their pricing was reasonable, striking a balance between high-end and budget options. We encountered a minor setback with paint matching, as our initial sample was taken from a lower section of the townhouse. Impressively, they resolved this by finding the correct match and repainting the entire area twice to ensure perfect consistency.
Their reliability and exceptional service were truly remarkable. We couldn't be more satisfied with the results. I highly recommend Rob's Odd Jobs and will work with them in future projects.

OMG. This is a bitter sweet review I suppose.... My daughter's hamster went missing. We couldn't find it but we could smell it. Rob mentioned having a minimum 2 hour fee and asked if there was anything else that needed attention just in case he could...sniff out the problem. Well, hambone was found. RIP little hamster. That was done in about 5 minutes. He asked what else he could do to fill out the remaining time so I could get "the best value for my money". Who does that? Rob did !!!

I told him I couldn't think of anything so he offered to change all the batteries in my smoke alarms and co2 detectors. Then he swapped HVAC filter, the refrigerator water and air filter. By then I came up with a few more things.

He mounted our tv to the wall and decorated my dining room too!

So grateful we found an honest handyman who cares about a single mom on a budget. He did things I didn't even realize needed to be done. I ended up finding more projects but he only charged me (by the minute) for the additional work. To me, even on a budget he is worth twice as much as he charges!

Thanks Rob's Odd Jobs! I am already starting another list of "busy work" just in case I have another quick job.

Rob and his crew helped us remodel two bedrooms and set up all the furniture, decorations etc. The prices were fair considering the average rates of similar companies (and cost of living in the Bay Area). They had a lot of great ideas and options to save money (or in my case to make the rooms more energy efficient and better insulated) they added a bunch of plugs so I no longer have to run extension cords everywhere. Put in a nice ceiling fan, solid core doors for noise, spray foam insulation in the walls, windows and doors etc.

It's literally one of the nicest rooms in the house now!
I choose to do the work on an hourly basis. He explained the differences to us in a very clear and easy to understand way. I was very nervous to go hourly (time plus materials) but in the end I saved a ton of money because I was able to assist with daily clean ups, shopping, ordering materials, etc. (nobody wants to pay someone else more than they earn to do what we can do ourselves) it was a lot of fun being invoked in the project on a day to day basis and I learned so much along the way. Some contractors Try to hide their trade secrets and knowledge, but Rob and his guys taught us so much that we are now way more confident. Anytime I call him he tries to walk me through simple repairs- even when it means he's not making money! I've since saved $400 fixing my own garbage disposal, my front door, and diagnosed some electrical problems. In addition he has helped me with rental contracts and given me a bunch of great advice to manage our rental properties. Honorable mentions to Traci in the office, nick the electrician, Avi who did our drywall, rich for the door installation and the rest of the guys who all pitched in to make my daughters bedroom So nice!!

I am so happy I called Rob's Odd Jobs for my picket fence removal. Traci was wonderful to communicate with. She asked all the right questions so that we had a game plan ahead of the job. And Kevin, Rich, and Rob were amazing on site. They arrived early, cut the posts a few inches below ground, and covered with dirt because I'd mentioned that I didn't want anything to be visible afterwards. And it is perfect. It doesn't look like that old, rickety fence was ever there. And they were quick, getting everything done under the amount we had budgeted for the work. I'm already sending them pictures of the next job I want them to complete!

When I needed my condo patch and painted Rob's Odd Jobs referred me to Painter Johnny. Johnny is awesome to work with, he is flexible, honest, accommodating, fair priced, and has excellent communication. Johnny was able to shuffle a few things around to accommodate my work. He also took pride in his work and went the extra mile and touched up areas I didn't think of, just to ensure everything met my expectations.

Referred me to an excellent painter named johnny who was extremely knowledgeable And very reasonable with prices. completed the project in time And recommended using the better quality of paint.. I highly recommend asking for johnny for your painting jobs.

I just finished two interior wall patch/repair and paint jobs with Rob's painting sub, Johnny Senn (Painter). I can't be more pleased with the man, his work, his work ethic, and reliability. He knows his paints, primers, and other drywall products quite well.

Johnny finished both jobs, last week and this week, on time and spot on budget. Johnny kept me updated on arrival date at our home and at the office job as well, as the dates drew closer, even with his other very large jobs nearing completion. His bids were competitive and he went above and beyond with nice extras, like shooting a couple of (not included) cabinet doors, a bonus window frame (casing) including masking, and a small closet interior wall.

I was happy to pay a bonus because of his positive and generous spirit.
Johnny and a helper arrived right on time and dove in with thorough masking and prep, to make sure the job was contained to the areas under contract! Very important when you spray paint and sand trim, doors and walls as well. My spouse is extremely picky about stuff like that!

Nothing was left undone. His skills are many, and Johnny's knowledge of drywall materials and methods are top notch. All the wall texturing (knockdown and "skip") was an excellent match, and all cracks, some very bad and deep due to settling on clay soils (barf!), were repaired with mesh and the correct catalyzed drywall compound for a long-lasting refinished product!

His paint "cut ins" (and that of his helper) were crisp and sharp. Fine lines everywhere. And he went the extra distance to sand down the beaten edges of some particularly battle-worn (think raising kids) trim and casings!

We can recommend Johnny Senn without reservation. Great caring craftsman and a great guy as well.

Fast response, even after hours. Easy to communicate with pics on text. Traci has been a delight planning some decorative projects.
My bigger problem actually needs a plumber and Traci sent a referral. Looking forward to having Rob & crew tinker around my little old house.

I contacted Rob's odd jobs as I had heard good things about them on a Rants and Raves page I follow. I'm so glad I did!! needed some drywall repaired and the lights in my kitchen replaced. i emailed them from their webpage. Traci text me the next day and asked for some pictures of what I needed done I sent them to her and she was very responsive back with a quote. we set a date and time for the lights To be changed. Nick and Jake arrived on time and were very nice and explained everything they were doing. Nick was very patient with me when I was trying to decide on what brightness I wanted the lighting set to!! They were very neat and tidy with their work. Avi did the wall around the new lighting and also repaired some cracks in my ceiling in the kitsch and living room. Avi is very nice and did great work just as Nick and Jake had. I felt comfortable enough with Avi to give him a key so he could come work on the drywall while I was at work!!
