      APARTMENT LIVING in Westend

      LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION!
At first glance when we drove up I thought OMG what did we book ourselves into. The front is hidden behind trees, and there's no driveway to unload the luggage. Get over it, this is a true hidden GEM. Not "Four Seasons" worthy 5-stars, but 5-stars for best in it's class (similar to Fairfield/Homewood/Hampton Suites, etc), and great location. Check in first, get your remote clicker to get into the underground parking garage and then unload your stuff.

This place is a small boutique 4-story hotel that allows you to walk everywhere because of it's nice central location. There is only 1 elevator, and it requires a room key to get up. There are a few steps to navigate after the elevator, FYI (if you have a wheelchair or stroller). The fourth floor units have high ceilings and more light than lower floors. I would have loved to stay here longer!

      SHOPPING
15min walk to Lululemon's brand new flagship store (corner of Burrard/Robson), passing a ton of trendy stores along the way like FCUK, JCrew, Sephora, Club Monaco, Forever 21, and luggage stores so you can bring back everything you just purchased.

      EATING
1min walk to: Guu with Garlic, Hokkaido Santouka Ramen, Safeway, McDonalds
3min walk to: Whole Foods, BC liquor
5min walk to: Tavola and a whole range of cute eateries. You will not go hungry looking for food in this neighborhood.

      LIVING
The "suite" reminds me of upscale just-after college apartment living. We paid $160/night and got: Hardwood floors, lots of nice natural sunlight, an enclosed balcony, a tiny office with a desk, a small kitchen with full refrigerator/stove/sink, living room with pull out sofabed, dining table, small bedroom with an extra wide king sized bed w/queen sized headboard and stackable washer dryer. Bathroom was small but separate from the bedroom and living room.

The doors are thin, I could hear my kids talking when I was in the hallway. It was very quiet all night, no car traffic noises and because this is a small hotel, there wasn't a lot of foot traffic or doors slamming like in larger hotels. I did hear seagulls starting around 6am.

      FREE WIFI
Thank goodness for this because my cell phone didn't really have any data connection except at the hotel.

      FREE PARKING
There is secured parking underground, accessed through two automatic gates you control with the remote they give you upon check-in. We never took our car out because everything was walking distance away!

      OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES
Yes Cycle is one block away--so you can rent a bike or jog around Stanley Park or cruise the sea wall.

We stayed for 4 nights on a recent vacation. I chose this hotel because of the positive reviews, free parking and desirable location in the west end. It appears the units were converted from apartments at some point. Our room included a full kitchen, washer/dryer, living room, and a separate bedroom. There was also a mini room with a small writing table and chair that we ended up using to store our luggage and toiletries since the bathroom vanity was small. The suite was poorly laid out with barely enough space in the bedroom to fit a queen bed, a single end table and a closet with no space for a dresser. Given its location, covered free parking and cost, we would probably stay here again.

Robson suites, a great boutique hotel along downtown.

First of all my dad booked this hotel for 6 days. It is a small hotel located right near Stanley Park and along Robson street, the shopping district of Vancouver. My dad chose this hotel because mainly of the free parking and the good rates for longer stays.
We had just come off a cruise and were excited to get to a bed. We found the hotel and at first I thought it sucked. The exterior is small and the hotel was pretty hidden by trees. So we parked the care
And by the way the free parking within a very secured lot is a very good plus. We got to the front desk and we were. Checked in by Coco, and this girl is astounding she is soo friendly and checked us in within 3 minutes. She also provided us with information and you can get free newspaper everyday.
Then we went to our room on the 4th floor which is the highest floor. We walked into our room and it was amazing, jaw dropping a super dooper good value. It even has a kitchen and washer/dryer. I loved this part.
We then unpacked our bags and went for a walk. All I can say this hotel is in a super good location right on Robson and next to Stanley park. Their is a Safeway and whole foods across the street too so you won't get hungry. On more thing you cant miss out on is the seawall a little north or by the harbor. Just walk to the Weston bay shore and you'll find this long path perfect for walking and strolling on a
      long summer day.
The staff at this hotel is equally amazing. They take care of you just like family. Also I'f. You mention a problem they'll fix it. About 1 day in our stay we found that bees were getting into our room. They took care of the problem very fast and no more problems were ever found again.
Everything at this hotel is good, oh yeah one more thing to mention was they really truly know you not like the Hyatt or Hilton were they just clean your room and say hello, you build a good bond and sometimes they even bring you a couple bottles of wine!
This hotel is amazing and would recommend it for everyone. The free parking should be enough, but with this friendly staff it's unbeatable.

Staying at Robson Suites in a one bedroom suite was the perfect place for my family! We have an infant son and the room had plenty of room for him to roam. Loved the fact that the room had a washer/dryer, full kitchen, enclosed patio, and private secure underground parking that didn't cost extra. The location was amazing for our first time to the city with tons of restaurants, a supermarket, banks and the waterfront close by. We walked all around the city and around Stanley park from here.

The staff was also very friendly and offered everything from a high chair in the room to an umbrella to recommendations for shopping.

We would Definitely stay here again!

I have nothing negative to say about our stay in this hotel! Great staff! Quick easy check-in with a free upgrade to a one bedroom suite from my reserved studio (I didn't even ask for it)! Clerk called me by name when I saw him the next day after check-in!
Super secure free parking. Amazing perk considering Vancouver parking in general!
Great location! Perfect for coffee access and a bay shore stroll. Restaurant choices abound! Yet the room is very quiet.
Outstanding value in the upscale West End area! We will stay here again!

The location is conveniently located in the West End which has restaurants galore. Stanley Park is a short walk away. Downtown is also a short walk in the opposite direction if you don't take the hotel shuttle.

It is next to a 24 hour McDonalds where quite a few street folks hang out. Parking: included in rate. Very secure two levels down. Access via key and room key.

Check in was long because there was a line.

Nice high ceilings for 4th floor suites.

Facilities are great: full size fridge, stove, stacked washer dryer, kettle, coffee maker, toaster. Oven gloves, lots of pots and pans. Even a small package of laundry detergent and a compost bin for food scraps.
Small storage area with chest of drawers, fan, safe deposit box (which needed a new battery).
Coat closet with full size umbrella, ironing board, iron.
Lounge area with couch, TV on chest of drawers, desk with 2 chairs. Opens out to a small patio.
Bedroom: accommodate a queen size bed and one night stand. Small wardrobe the size of a coat closet. Looks out to small patio area which happens to be home to two pigeons. This couple is cute huddled together and you'll wait up to their cooing. Very cute. Bed had 3 small pillows but thankfully they provided an extra pillow. Didn't need the extra blanket since the room temperature was comfortable.
Bathroom: lots of towels. I really appreciated that we weren't limited to 2 towels each. Hair dryer and magnifying mirror on the side wall.

We had a view of apartments with a ramen place on the street level.

The rooms were spotless. Being a clean freak, that says a lot. But they missed a spot which is the head board. LOL.

The rooms may be slightly dated but you can't ask for a better furnished and maintained suite. You'd get the sense they want you to feel at home here.

Would recommend for location and furnishing.

Robson Suites is a great home away from home in Vancouver's West End. Mixed among the leafy streets and high-rise condos, you feel like an actual resident. Our top-floor apartment was nice, with skylights and a little corner outside alcove. The free parking was a must in this neighborhood and the wi-fi worked great. Two very popular eating places are just downstairs --one a Belgian waffle place and the other Chinese, specializing in soup dumplings. Lines out the door for both, but if you stay here it's easy to order out and dine at your little dining table "at home." Walk two blocks in any direction and your eating choices range from ramen to Korean to Malaysian to Thai to Vietnamese banh mi and bubble tea to Italian to Ukranian to Turkish. The marina is also two blocks; Stanley Park's Lost Lagoon is three. Both the morning and evening desk clerks were very nice, too!

What a gem. Close to whole foods and Safeway. It's very close to Stanley park. The staff was excellent and always willing to help. The room was spacious and we will return for our next trip into Vancouver. Thank you!

We have just returned from our 4th stay at this property, and no matter whether it was for a long weekend or a week's vacation, we are never disappointed. While the decor and amenities are not luxurious, the hotel and its staff definitely see to it that all your needs are met. The location and suite layout are fantastic in their convenience, especially if you have small children. Highly recommended; this hotel and its staff have earned my loyal/repeat business and they deserve yours.
