Romero Landscaping

We are very happy with the recent landscaping job that Raoul Romero and his team completed at our Sunset district home. His team was thoroughly professional and finished the entire job in just three days. We have tried since we moved in here to tame our back yard - and finally decided to have a major part of the garden covered in bricks that would still let water through. Raoul designed the job to incorporate an existing deck and a huge tree in the center of the garden. We're so pleased and wish we had done this years ago. The team arrived on time every day and cleaned up the area perfectly when finished. We feel that the price was very reasonable. We are recommending Raoul Romero Landscaping to all of our friends.

Totally unreliable. We spoke on the phone and scheduled a time for him to come by to take a look. Per our conversation, I followed up with a text with my name, address and agreed upon date/time. I asked him to confirm back and heard nothing. I subsequently texted again the night before the appt to inquire if he planned to come by. Again, nothing. Realizing it was a fool's errand, I called him at the time he was supposed to show up. He answered, but told me he gets too many texts. Really?

I didn't bother to try to reschedule, because it's pretty clear he isn't interested in having the business. I would have preferred he just have said at the outset and we both could have saved time.

Quite an unprofessional business with no sense of urgency. The owner/boss almost never showed up to review the work in a timely manner. The boss never answers emails. The workers show up whenever, sometimes once a week sometimes once a month and you have no idea why your project is stopped. The boss who has all the relevant information on your project doesn't pass it on to the workers because the boss is never on site to check. A job that should've lasted a couple weeks can last months. This company is overbooking itself and is obviously overwhelmed.
