Finding a great contractor is indeed a difficult task. One can only know for sure after going through a complete experience themselves. We were shopping for a good contractor to do some work at our new house. One of my friends suggested Attic Express - Hamid and Abu. When they visited my place for the first time, I was astonished to see them pushing me back on every work I spotted in my house. Example" Sir you really have a great cabinet and Island, people pay for such a look why do you want to waste your money". "Sir, your house already looks good, your flooring is real wood, why do you want to replace w/ cheap vinyl?" and so on. The first thing I liked about them is that they are real and genuine. Won't give you wrong advice even if it means no work for them. These guys are extremely humble, not money minded rather quality oriented. It was an amazing working experience. Very reasonable and focussed on doing a great job rather than pulling $$ out of you. Both have engineering backgrounds which helps them understand clients requirements better and provide suggestions. I truly recommend them for any house, construction work that you may have. Trustworthy guys that I have come across thus far.

I was dreading having this project done due to a center patio covering which had to be removed. I got two estimates from the top 2 Yelp-rated companies. The two estimates were close, so I went with Roof Express because I was impressed by their representative.

The job took three days. All my choices and options were well explained to me. The staff was punctual, profession and courteous, always cleaning up each night before they left. There were always English speaking workers on site in case I had questions/instructions.

All in all, a very professional transaction.

Nav and his team is the best contractor I have ever used! This old house has a complicated mansard style roof that has a near vertical roof/wall. The old asphalt shingles were falling off due to the steep angle. We got several quotes from several highly reviewed roofers, and Roof Express is the only one holding a general contractor license who can do both roof and siding! Therefore Nav gave us an unbeatable price to completely covert the not-suitable asphalt shingles on the near vertical wall to sidings, along with torch down of the flat roof and regular asphalt shingles on the generally sloped roof. Yes it sounds like 3 projects in one! Nav did a tons of research and we discussed million times of many alternatives. I'm so impressed that he is truly passionate about what he is doing. He is knowledgeable and also keeps his word by not to increase the price although we developed a better and pricier solution than the original estimate. When the jobs were going, various unexpected issues occurred, which was not surprising for such a complicated job, he and his team is always supportive and addressing all the issues I requested. I know I'm being a picky customer since I myself is a civil engineer so I can't help looking into every detail of this job

I had the pleasure of first connecting with Abu from ROOF EXPRESS back in the summer of 2023 while scouting for a roofer. Roof Express replaced a flat asphalt roof for me in San Francisco. The work was done quickly and the project was very well managed. Abu is the boss and does the coordinating. Habibi and his team did the physical work. They replaced the whole roof on one of our homes. He was very fast, efficient, reliable and detail oriented.
