Rooter Hero Plumbing

I was glad I called rooter hero plumbing. I needed my AC checked and called them. Their customer service was great. They were pretty busy so it did take coupe days to have someone come out. The technician was knowledgeable and honest. He made sure to check everything snd gave us good recommendation. Overall I was happy with their service.

Saw a coupon on Google and decided to call the to unclog the kitchen drain. It was a pretty good deal and it wasn't until I was being upsold did I realize why.

Tech came by an assessed the situation. They used a snake to try to clear the drain. It didn't work. Said that a stronger, hydrojet cleaning needed to be made and that it would cost $1,100. Told them no way and that it was way out of the budget and I wasn't looking to pay a couple of hundred bucks max. Tech said he would talk to his manager to see if he could talk to his manager about getting a discounted price and came back with a $800. Told him no way and politely dismissed him. Was not charged anything since the job was not complete, hence the 2-stars.

Ended up finding another plumbing service that doesn't drain as much $$$ from you. See other review.

Called them to schedule an appointment for a couple days out, on the day of appointment a lady calls back and tells me the team does not have access to the scheduling system and appointment needs to be pushed out by a week. Just not letting me talk, super rude and blaming the heat wave, I get you don't need business today and hence the tone. OUTRAGEOUS Price! Just to replace a water valve under the sink, a 10 minute job they wanted $300.

I got United Plumbing and Water Heaters to do the job for $100!!! including parts and labor!!!

I had appointment with them on Thursday, July 4th, 2024 between 2 and 4 pm! When I got a call from them about an hour before the appointment telling me that they cannot make it, and offered no explanation!

Want to give a huge shoutout to our tech Jose Romero for his great customer service and support during our drainage crisis.

Our house was fully backed up and he was able to help restore it back to normal. He even stayed late just to make sure we were able to use the bathroom as normal. Truly appreciate Jose's and his supervisors assistance!

BTW we had called/paid another local plumber but they were unable to help with our plumbing issue and recommended we call Rooters... So glad we did!!

Highly recommend contacting them directly instead of paying someone else that can't fix the issue

after not getting other "emergency" 24x7 companies to come out on a Sunday when my house flooded, this company was the exception. Juan replaced my faulty kitchen faucet with a nice quality moen faucet from their warehouse and did a great job. The following day, Oscar came outtto fix a leaky faucet in garage. because of multiple problems so close, he tested the pressure throughout to ensure no bigger problems and also did a great job. I had seen this companies ads for clearing drains etc, but they are so much more. I would hire them again for any future plumbing jobs.

Skip these people. Service is garbage.
I called to make an appointment at about 2pm on a Friday. I was told that dispatch would call me to let me know when someone would arrive at my home. I got a text. No time included so I called around 4. I was told the dispatcher would call me back. No one called so I called again. The dispatcher finally called me back and said someone would come at 6pm. So, now it's the next day. No one showed up or called so I called again and told them to make sure no one showed up because I didn't want such irresponsible business people in my house.

I got a free in-person estimate from them for a toilet replacement. It was more expensive than all the other estimates and I declined to have them do any work for me.
Today, I got an invoice with a balance due for work never done by them and with a date different from the day their plumber came. Called them to clear this up and they claim this is not a bill but an estimate. Had them zero it out. Never had this happen with any other plumber.

I will not be using them for future plumbing work.
