Rosemary and rocksalt. That's their namesake bagel, and that's the reason why you visit this bagel shop.
In terms of taste, this is a great spot. I got the Steveston bagel sandwich, and I was quite impressed with how it tasted. It's a quality sandwich which makes for a good breakfast, and the rosemary rocksalt bagel is unique and super tasty.
The bagel itself, while tasty, is a tad small. Given that these are Montreal-style bagels, they're expected to be somewhat thin with a wide bore in the middle, but given it's price, you wish the bagels were bigger. If you're just eating them with cream cheese, then this will be less of an issue for you.

Nice sitting spot for small bite and comfy soup
Great boiled bagels and authentic Montreal pastrami
Our first visit here so we went with their toasted signature Rosemary Rocksalt bagels - I chose the Kitsilano sandwich & tomato garlic soup. My friend chose the same bagel with just butter & the carrot ginger soup.
Undeniably very pricey sandwiches considering the small bagel size but it was definitely fresh and delicious / Total bill was $37.51 for this set (in picture)

I had food delivered this morning from this location and it was so good! The delivery was quick because the food was made quickly and we had a good Uber Eats driver.
I ordered the brisket, cheese, and egg on a toasted sesame. What struck me most was how soft the bagels are. The dough is boiled before being cooked, which is the secret to a good bagel. Here at Rocksalt Rosemary, they add a little something to that water it's boiled in and it makes the bagels so much better! My husband had a hash brown and everything bagel. He reported they were both delicious as well. The hash browns come two for $9.
They offer good bagels at an average price. You can even get rainbow bagels! So what are you waiting for readers and foodies? Soft bagels and yumminess awaits you here! See website for hours, menus, locations and more.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Oct 31, 2022
The bagels were delicious, but I felt the cream cheese and smoked salmon were so stingy. It's $16.50 on UberEats and I get that food is marked up but that's a lot for a smoked salmon cream cheese bagel. I will say again that it was delicious though, but give me another slice of salmon and oz of cream cheese please.
They also forgot the sauce for my cauliflower bites.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jebby T.Vancouver, Canada023139Mar 31, 2023
Food - 8.5/10, Got the Kitsilano with rocksalt bagel . Montreal smoked meat, turkey, cheddar, lettuce, tomato, mayo, and mustard. Love how well the ingredients work with the toasted bagel . Served on a block of wood. Would love to try other bagel sandwiches to give an overall rating of their food. Price: $14.95.
Service - Ordered at the counter, and staff will bring it to your table. Water is self-serve.
Ambiance - Cool full wall art piece with bagels as people! The art piece highlights Commercial Drive, Translink (bus and bus stop), East Van cross art piece, etc.
Location - Easy to find. Located on Commercial Drive. Has paid street parking and bus runs down the street.
2 employees working on Friday night. There was no one there when we were there. But we saw a couple come order take out.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Amy Louise A.Downtown, Vancouver, Canada1108Mar 6, 2024
Delicious, but the smallest bagel I've ever seen. Could eat three easily but $60 is a lot of money for three bagels.

Was at The Drive waiting for some friends to get together for dinner and saw Rosemary Rocksalt. Decided to go in and try one of their bagels for breakfast the next morning.
At $1.99 per bagel or $9.99 per half dozen (6 bagels), Rosemary Rocksalt prices are pretty competitive especially since the grocery store bagels are $1.69 each. Their bagels are smaller and thinner but are denser and chewier, which is the Montreal style.
I ordered the classic Rosemary Rocksalt bagel and as it was 40 minutes to closing time, the nice staff gave me the last Rosemary Rocksalt bagel for free so I got two bagels for the price of one!
Bagel still tasted delicious the next morning and was beautifully infused with rocksalt and rosemary. This is now definitely one of the best bagels I've had around the city but am sad that there isn't a location near my house or office. Next time, I'm definitely going to also buy and purchase one of their specialty cream cheeses (about 200g container ranging from $7.49 to $7.99 each).Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Marty M.Coquitlam, CanadaJun 29, 2022Updated review
Just got my order from Door Dash..
So over-priced. Never again
$10 and barely any meat inside.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0May 5, 2018Previous reviewThe commercials are always annoying me via the radio. But still figured I'd try it after a coworker said it was good.
Garlic tomato soup was tasty but too pricey for what it was.
Mont-royal (Montreal smoked meat) was only ok. The salted bagel itself was very good.
Overpriced. Would only return if someone I was with wanted to go. - Jayden P.Vancouver, Canada033Feb 22, 2023
Honestly I've always love rosemary rocksalt. I used to order their food every morning for breakfast. Today I ordered for breakfast from uber eats only to get my food with a long blonde hair wrapped around my sandwich through my meat. I am beyond disgusted by this. Especially know you're supposed to wear a hair net anytime you deal with food. This was gross. I'm not happy about this by any means. I've never actually been into the location as I always order. Their food has always tasted good and been good but this just legit sent me over the edge. Long blonde hair I took a picture in front the bag and in front of my black throw so you can see it more accurately. I'm so appaled ughh
Update
Upon further inspection I've found a bug in my food looks like a baby coach roach.
This is disgusting fuckin SHAME. I WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAINHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Paulina S.Coquitlam, Canada11717Jan 11, 2022
Tried @rosemaryrocksalt 's bagels
The service was friendly and their bagels are fresh!
I admired that they sell day old bagels! That way there is less food waste.
I ordered the Kitsilano bagel. It had ham, smoked meats, lettuce, tomatoes, mustard and mayo. It was yummy! Their tomatoes garlic soup was also good!
