Rozafa Masonry

I wish there was one more Yelp Star rating for FANTASTIC! I cannot thank Bert of Rozafa Masonry enough for the incredible job he did rebuilding a damaged/displaced section of our backyard brick wall. He was able to tie into the remaining footer/wall and replace the damaged 7 ft by 12.5 ft section. You would not be able to tell there had ever been a problem, it was seamless! His quality of work, attention to detail, and work ethic was impeccable. Even though I caught him at a busy time, he worked me in quickly, was communicative, always on time, and even monitored the weather to get necessary sections complete and not jeopardize any work in progress. Bert was extremely affordable and so very easy to work with, I would recommend him again and again without hesitation!

Bert helped us with a huge brick wall in our 1928 home. He was patient, helpful, and responsive even before starting the job. He's just an all around nice guy and easy to work with. He gave great advice as well about what to do. He showed up each day on time - early, actually - and did a fantastic job, too.

The work itself was done to a high standard and you can tell he is a true craftsman. Highly recommend!

Bert just completed a job transforming my entryway with decorative stone and tile. He did an amazing job, very meticulous, paying close attention to detail. Bert is a joy to work with, showing up as promised and working diligently to complete the job. He is considerate, actively listens, and makes helpful suggestions. We needed to have the bricks on our patio removed and relaid to direct water away from the house. We also wanted to extend some steps from a walkway down to the back patio. We got three bids for this work. Bert was one of two that were reasonable (the third was almost twice the amount). But, more importantly, Bert seemed really interested and came up with good suggestions for both jobs. We are so happy that we hired him for this work. He hand-laid each brick in our patio, raising it and directing water toward a drain. He also created a beautiful path down from our walkway. Our neighbor saw what Bert was doing and hired him to lay some pavers on their property. Like us, they are very happy with the work. You should consider Bert for any work you need done with pavers or bricks. He is terrific!

Bert and his team built a new brick wall at the front of our house. They were a pleasure to work with - Bert was very responsive throughout, he gave us a very reasonable estimate and completed the projected under the agreed upon timeline and cost. The work was excellent, it was at the facade of our house so we really needed it to look great, and it did! Bert also provided thoughtful advice and recommendations along the way. We would recommend Bert to anyone looking for help with masonry projects. We have worked with many contractors and he is really one of the very best in the business.

Bert removed a concrete bench from our living room that had been built into our concrete fireplace. He was quick, efficient, and super-friendly.

Hauled off all debris and cleaned up after the job.

Hired Bert to repair the some cracked mortar in the exterior brick staircase at the front of my house. He did excellent work, was easy to work with, reliable, diligent. He tried hard to diagnose where the water was getting in and then when he came to repair the mortar, he prepared the site well by removing the old mortar. He even went back to Home Depot to try to find a better match for the color. After I paid him, he even came back another day to clean up a little better. He really is a craftsman who cares about doing a good job. I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again.

Bert did fabulous work for us - so easy to recommend him!

We asked him to build a backyard retaining wall with a pile of old, large, and very unevenly-sized cobblestones we already had. He did beautiful work, measuring each stone to line up attractive rows, and taking some on-the-fly design tweaks from us. He was careful both inside the house (rolling out floor protection, for example) and outside (finding tree roots and carefully working around them). The job got done fast (just a few days), well, and for a very fair price.

Bert did a great job, very careful and deliberate, first class workmanship. He also came exactly when he said he would and I am completely satisfied.
