Had to give it 5 stars cause it was so good. Had the Curried chicken sub (banh mi). Going to go back definitely

Got some take out for lunch. Their banh mi is incredible!! So flavourful, perfect bun and delicious pickled veggies! It was ready in less than 5 mins and a great price. Highly recommend.

Ordered spring rolls about 15 minutes ago... would ask for a refund but they're closed!

I initially had only had a Banh-mi sandwich back when I wrote my first review:

"Finally! A great Vietnamese BANH MI sandwich place in Victoria! Right across the parking lot from the SilverCity movie theatre at Tillicum Mall, this place has some very quick service--we had 30 minutes before our movie and we were finished with time to spare."

We have been back more times and it has become my personal favourite Vietnamese place. I have a not-so-secret love for vermicelli dishes, and have greatly enjoyed the vermicelli, pork/chicken/beef/etc. and FABULOUS springroll dish (item 6c). The springrolls, specifically, are the only authentic ones in town.

Great food. Great prices. Speedy, friendly service. I keep trying new things whenever I'm there and I'm not normally that experimental when it comes to food but everything I've had there so far has been great. I mean really good. I couldn't come up with a better name than Saigon Char-broil either as that really describes the flavour of the chicken for me, like it was made on a bbq with tons of flavour.

I get weirded out by chicken being low quality in many restaurants but it is always good here. I think I've even been served by the owner once and she was spectacular. Obviously cares about her business and has a great personality where you feel like you are being served by a friend. I like that. I also ate at the other location at Hillside mall on the weekend and had the crispy noodles which were great too but this tillicum location is my fave because it is a nice quiet restaurant and not a food fair. Great job Saigon Char-broil. I'll keep coming back.

It's started with the lunch menus price is not the dinner price
For the same sandwich. Not my first rodeo lady.... bun was uninspiring and beef just barely passable. I think they were trying for more of a French roll thing. Second try because the first sucked. Will not be back.

My wife and I come here every time we go to the theater in the same mall. We love their tofu noodle soup. Large bowls with lots of vegetables and generous amounts of tofu. It's available with chicken stock or vegetable stock, just tell your server what you prefer. Excellent service and very friendly with good prices.

This is my worst Viet food experience ever, me my mother and sister order pho and bun bo but the broth is extremely salty. Bun bo doesnt even taste like it should be. Dont come.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!! PEOPLE HERE ARE SO RUDE! I ordered a dine in food and my boyfriend ordered one for to go! Our server fucking said that my boyfriend cant eat there!!! Okay we get that we ordered to go but no need to fucking say it out loud or even tell me what to fucking do! I asked them to have my order to go as well cause they are just so rude! Ruined our date night!

Used to order from this restaurant all the time. Apparently there is a new 'policy' now to charge for fish sauce - absolutely ridiculous. Nickel and diming regular customers. Will no longer order from this restaurant.
