I got my hair done with April back in July, and am finally posting to share how happy I still am with it! I went in looking for change, and she delivered! We talked before my appointment and I was able to share with her some ideas, she was really receptive and took what I said to heart. I tried fringe and a balayage for the first time, and was so happy with my results. She integrated the color seamlessly, and the tones worked well with my skin tone (I am a natural dark-dark brown) and then gave me a fringe that was easy for me to style. Not only was it what I wanted to begin with, it has also grown out with style. Low maintenance win! I've posted a few pics to show how it's gone.

Couldn't be happier with my experience, she listened to what I wanted but gave me some professional suggestions that really have made a difference in the result. Can't wait to go back!

I've been getting my hair done by April since I moved to Sonoma county from LA county three years ago. When I came to April, my hair was trash. Dark permanent on my roots with dry, orange, bleached and over processed hair. I have very thick hair naturally, but the integrity and health of my hair was lacking and my hair was a fried mess. April listened to what I wanted my "hair goals" to be, but she was also very upfront and realistic about the process. 3 years later, and many hours in her chair, she has turned my hair from trash in to my hair dreams.
What people need to understand is that good hair TAKES TIME, and it also TAKES MONEY. I am telling you, without fail, I get compliments on my hair every single day, and it's worth every single cent. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my hair!

I love my haircut from Tiffany. The salon is small and has a nice vibe. Great location in downtown Petaluma, I will definitely go back.

System booked me an appt. by mistake. I called and left message right away explaining it was booked in error. I thought it was a request for call back to discuss what was needed. They dinged me for a no show and say I can't book again without credit card. Check your voice mail!!

I went in for a partial highlight. The price sheet said starting at $250 which is by far the most I have ever paid for a partial. I get a partial for $160 and full for $220 usually. I already sat in the chair and knew I would get charged anyway if I didn't stay. When I was done she told me it was $300 since she used a different technique that was harder which I never asked for. When I got home I realized she didn't even do the top back of my hair. It was only on the sides and in the very front. I know how far partial goes and I already want to go to someone else and get it done correctly. Waste of money and definitely felt like I got ripped off.

April Shannon is amazing. I have never trusted anyone else with my hair. The gorgeous mermaid sunshine highlights she gave me made me feel like a goddess and her cuts are always spot on.

Great hair cut and color! I asked for something kind of complicated and it turned out perfect! So many compliments. I'm a return customer now!

Trish has been cutting my hair for over 5 years - I came to her with an emergency to fix! She did it. Immediately. Always a great cut and thorough. Cuts grow out nicely too.
Tiffany has been doing my color for the last year and has picked up right I needed her to. The color always turns out fantastic.
"T&T" are fantastic to work with you on what you're looking for, be it upkeeping or a whole new look. They have a great atmosphere and you always feel welcomed and never feel rushed.

This review is long overdue. A few months ago I had a hair appointment with April. We spoke briefly on the phone prior to my appointment and I explained what I wanted done. I did not expect to be at the salon for 6 hours for a partial balayage and a cut. The color I wanted was an ash medium color and what I got were "Carmel" pieces that looked more on the blonde side than brown. When she rinsed out the toner, she could tell right away that it was too light. She asked if I had another hour so that she could apply more toner and style it afterwards. At this point, I was already late to a dinner event I had planned which I had also mentioned to her when I arrived. She insisted I at least wait for her to style which I did.

When it came to paying, she said she gave me a discount of $100 off because it was my first time seeing her. I was thinking that she would say the total was around $150 max. April charged me $325 that day with the "discount". I thought this was a RIDICULOUS amount of money for what I got. I left feeling disappointed and defeated.
