San Agus Cocina Urbana & Cocktails

San Agust Cocina is a real gem! From the moment you step in, you're greeted with super friendly and attentive service. The bartenders and staff make you feel right at home, and that warmth really sets the tone for a great meal.

The tacos here are fantastic, especially the shrimp and fish ones. They're so fresh and packed with flavor. And don't even get me started on the chips and salsa; you can really tell everything is made from scratch.

I love that they offer outdoor seating with heaters, so you can enjoy a nice evening out even when it's a bit chilly. Plus, being able to make reservations is a huge plus. The menu might be on the smaller side, but it's got plenty of delicious options. The whole place has a relaxed, casual vibe with Spanish music playing softly in the background. They're also open later than many other spots, which is perfect for those late-night taco cravings. Excellent service, drinks, and food.
We had a Huarache and the ceviche. I had El Tamarindo (with alcohol, so not your everyday tamarind) and of course, Mexican Coca-Cola.

So near train + clean bathroom and good music. Will return when in the area.

Hip fun place with great taco's and cocktails. We love their shrimp and fish taco's and they have birria taco's w the beef broth.

This is a crowd favorite and we have taken many friends here.

Amazing flavors and ambience. I love coming to this spot for some tacos, they are so fresh and flavorful. The chips and salsa are exceptionally- you can tell everything is homemade. They always have seating outside with heaters which is so nice for the evening.

Service is friendly and quick.

Came here for lunch and it was only filled with two other tables so we were sat right away. Service is prompt and attentive and food came out relatively quick. Ceviche was with red snapper and it was super flavorful. It didn't need that much hot sauce on top. The spice is over powering the flavors of the ceviche. My birria tacos were okay... it was quite dry. I even ordered the consommé which helped but it was still dry even after being drenched in the sauce. Chicken tinga tostadas were good. I also got the coco horchata but it was wayyyyy too sweet with too much condensed milk and not enough coconut.

I came with a large group from work. I had the birria tacos which came as two huge tacos and some consume! The tacos were a little greasy but really yummy and really filling . I do wish there was more consume.

One thing I didn't like was the seating. We were a group of ~12 and we were all seated outside on small barstools on a high table which was really uncomfortable seating for eating dinner. If the purpose was to pressure me into leaving sooner it for sure worked!

Delicious pozole! I was definitely overly excited to know it was available to order and came with fresh cabbage and the hot sauce was fire, flavorful spicy and definitely packs a punch , ingredients tasted fresh and delicious, cocktails were equally delicious and definitely in my top favorite restaurants this year

My husband and I showed up right after they opened on a Wednesday. We were offered a happy hour menu (12pm to 6pm!) and a regular menu.

We got shrimp ceviche and birria nachos to share, I got shrimp tacos, and my husband got the birria plate.

Shrimp Ceviche -- you get to choose how many tostada shells you want. We got two for $13. The ceviches comes piled on top and garnished with avocado. Fresh, tart, tomato-y, with a slight kick. Very good! The only drawback is that it can be pretty messy to eat. Good sized portion!

Birria Fries--lots of birria, but way more fries. The birria was good. I wish it had more of the sauce, or consome with it. I also wish the birria, cheese, and toppings were evenly distributed.

Shrimp tacos--WOW. Excellent. Beer battered shrimp, fresh corn tortillas, excellent sauce and cole slaw like garnish. Chef's kiss. I would eat these again. Two large size portions!

Birria plate--my husband was satisfied with his meal. He just wished he had more broth or consome with his birria.

What a great place to find in the new year. I will be back!

Food was fresh. Menu was small but concise with enough variation for everyone. Everything was really tasty.

They have lots of mezcal drink variations
Mine was very flavorful, with lemon and strawberry, served with a big ice cube.

I got seated immediately when I walked in. Servers were extremely accommodating.

Place is casual with Spanish music playing in the background. They have outdoor seating and indoor is set up for small parties. The restaurant is open a little later than others in the area.

This was our first time coming here for my husband and I. We were there on a Friday evening and I ordered the ceviche de pescado. The ceviche was very tasteful. Great atmosphere and drinks were on point! Shout out to the bartender gal there
