San Francisco Helicopters

What a fantastic trip.
I took my dad for his 80th and it did not disappoint he loved it, he even got to sit in the front which made his day.
All the staff are helpful and professional with a full running commentary whilst in the air.
There is plenty of room the helicopter seats 6 and it is comfy and feels super safe.
It's a tad expensive but worth every dollar.

Here is the rundown:

They do not confirm your seats until 3 days prior but they take payment. Don't you find this bizarre? I don't understand why they cannot confirm at the time of booking.

You are picked up at a designated hotel (not your hotel) and then two additional stops at two other hotels to pickup additional passengers.

Then the shuttle drives you to the airport.

You watch a very outdated video on safety.

Then 6 of you are jammed into a helicopter plus the pilot. If you are bigger you will be uncomfortable and if you are smaller you will be uncomfortable because of the bigger people.

The pilot does a 15-20 minute tour that goes over the bay, golden gate bridge and Alcatraz and then you land in Sausalito where the shuttle meets you to take you back. I could not understand the pilot AT ALL. I had no idea what he was saying during the entire tour.

In total it takes about 2 hours and is $215 per person. Is it worth it? Yes if you book with a different helicopter touring company. This was a bottom budget tour.

Great Company, Our go to when we have company to fly into Monterey and Napa..Always reliable from the limo pick up to runway, Professional pilots and room for 6 , Have used them since 2019 and have "Never" had an issue. Wish they flew to LA..

My boyfriend bought us a helicopter ride for my birthday and it was one of the best gifts/experiences ever! I've lived in SF for 9 years and this helicopter ride allowed me to see the city from a whole new perspective.

We pick up the shuttle from Pier 39 and the shuttle was pretty late. I thought i was late and ended up hopping out of my uber and running 3 blocks to make sure I didn't miss the shuttle only to have to wait 25 mins for our ride to show up. Once you get on the shuttle you'll ride out to SFO, watch a quick safety video and then the group is split up for the ride (the helicopter only fits 6 passengers) so we went on the second ride and just hung out in the waiting room.

the ride lasts about 20-25 mins, you'll fly over: ocean beach, golden gate park, over baker beach (we saw a whale which was the BEST!!), underneath the GG bridge, over Alcatraz, over Treasure & Angel Island. The pilot will also hover between the gg bridge and alcatraz for a 360 pano!! I will say it would've been AMAZING to fly over downtown sf but there may be restrictions on that.

The helicopter is tiny and it's hot so take that into consideration and also make sure to wear dark clothing if you want to take pics (it decreases the glare on the window reflection)

I had a great experience going on the vista tour! I wanted to take my fiancé on a helicopter ride to get breathtaking views of SF. He could not stop smiling throughout the ride!

We were able to see sf from another point view and it took my breath away from how beautiful it was. The ride was smooth and it was about a 30 minute ride.

I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting or even a local!

Awesome crew from the first phone call we made, to the shuttle bus driver, all the way to the helicopter pilot. Very easy seamless experience. We were picked up at a hotel close to Fisherman's Warf.

The tour bus driver was super nice and funny. Our two boys got to take their first flight. It was a awesome experience. Great view of the Golden Gate Bridge!

The pilot Adrian made the flight so comfortable and Shepherd, the driver, has such good energy and an asset to the company for sure.

We booked a trip from SFO executive terminal to a small local airport. It was super easy to set it up, and the ride was great. I'd use them again for travel or sightseeing.

Highly recommend this amazing experience.

I booked two tickets for me and a friend and we both loved it. Seeing San Francisco from different point of view was great and memorable experience. As an amateur photographer, I had a field day with shooting photos every minute we were up in the air. What made it even better was that I was very lucky to sit co pilot.

Both our shuttle driver and helicopter pilot were very professional and courteous. Both were knowledgeable of what the tour consist of.

Would definitely do again.

Tour driver Shepard and pilot Adrian where awesome. Shepard is hilarious and had us laughing the entire trip. We went under the golden gate. Got some great pictures. Amazing experience highly recommended
