So you know when you go to a restaurant and order a meal and the owner brings out a special dish for you and it makes you feel special? Well, getting work done with Larry is a similar experience.

I needed to get my bimini top done on my boat. I called several different shops in the area and everyone told me that I could not patch it but needed to put a new one on. I took it to another shop and the guy told me that he could fix it but without zippers. (And his price was higher than at San Leandro Auto Upholstery's shop).

Anyway, I picked up my bimini top today. It is like new - new snaps, new window, reinforced corners, the whole 9 yards. I had taken it in to be patched and it came back with so much more!!!

Larry is a fantastic upholsterer and he has helped us out with numerous car projects. The latest project was to redo the interior of our van. Larry did a great job and the seats are completely reconditioned with new foam and covers. Larry even found an unsafe situation with our seat track and had it welded so that the seat would be safe in accident.

Always a pleasure to deal with, excellent work, at a fair price. We have some more projects in the pipeline and would not hesitate to use Larry to do the work.

Larry is amazing.
He put a new seat cover on my sons dirt bike. It took a matter of minutes and not only that, he got the jist of it that my son is really into bikes. He had my son watch him put the cover on. Showing him step by step.
He taught my kid something new. I appreciated that and so did my son.
Needless to say the seat cover came out perfect.
This man has 50 years of experience. I'm pretty sure he's qualified for all your upholstery needs!

Larry is awesome. I dropped by with my two kids, 6 and 7, to drop off a seat cover and the seat for my 2018 Ducati Monster. He not only installed it while I waited (other shops quoted me 7-10 days), but he let me and my kids come back and watch how he did it. It's something they are still taking about a few weeks later! Great customer service, reached out to get a door trim panel repaired for a 2015 BMW m4 and turn around time was fast. Owner was really easy and understanding about the quality of work needing to be done. Explained the process thoroughly and was completely honest about his work. Will definitely return for future inquires. I would recommend all of my friends and family to this place.

Actually;y, Larry advised me against replacing my fabric upholstery, he said I could probably get it cleaned...it was stained very badly, with paraffin was and other stains of undetermined origin (I just bought the Truck, a Toyota Tacoma, regular cab, 4 cylinder, 5 speed standard transmission). He suggested that I go see Bob at San Leandro Car Wash at 550 MacArthur Blvd. Long story short, Bob did an outstanding job bringing the interior back to showroom condition. Larry is a businessman with integrity, I will use him in the future to repair my BMW upholstery.
