San Leandro Car Wash & Detail

I wanted to give them a 5 star review but can't.
They, like many small businesses, are understaffed. They need two people to prep the car for car wash and wipe it down afterwards. They need two more people working just to do the detailing. I don't know where their usual guys were.
Saturday morning is not the time to go unless you are good with a car wash without detailing. Then, you will find the car wash is great. I went on a weekday the first time and it was fabulous. 3 guys working. Second time, I went on a Saturday morning. Big mistake. Everyone else had the same bright idea. Only 2 guys working!
Poor guys try to do your detailing but get stopped every time another car lines up for the wash! I had to wait a very long time. I finally gave up and did the vacuuming myself. It was very satisfying because I love vacuuming. I don't have access to a garage or a strong handheld vacuum. They did the same beautiful job on my tires and the car interior as the first time I went.
They were so apologetic which is why I give them 4 stars. Plus they are the nicest guys you will ever meet. Love them and will be back. But I'm not going back on weekend!

For a "Deluxe" interior and exterior clean for $45 (car wash, interior vacuum, hand dry, glass cleaner, wiping trim, aurmoral wheels) plus tip, I think it's a great value. I was paying around $120 for a mobile detailer who would clean my car to a solid 10/10, and SL Car Wash and Detail was a solid 9/10 for half the price. I tipped a little above 20% for a great job. Mind you, I went on a Monday around 2PM so I was in and out in less than 20 minutes, so YMMV.

The people that clean your cars out are thief's I would never go back there.

Paid $120 for a full inside out wash/steam clean and vacuum. I had to point out that the sun roof was not cleaned, windows, rims, floor mats were all semi clean and there was oily residue left all over the inside leather and dashboard. For that amount of money, no one should have to point out anything. The vehicle should be immaculate. Will never trust what they advertise. Too much stress to have to go over unfinished work.

This is such a horrible place. I just went in today and I paid for the $50 plan the lady they cleaned my car from the outside great but from the inside the lady didn't even bother they just did a little sweep with the vacuum and then when it came to the cleaning the chairs and everything the lady told me all you gotta pay $20 extra for the mats And such such horrible prices and their cleaning is not that even got it not even that good and I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody because when I told the lady about it, she didn't do nothing to help me out. It's not like everybody is rich.

Would not come back here...

The prices are reasonable - I had gotten the $45 package cleaning inside and out. It took about 25 minutes in total for everything.

My car wasn't that dirty to begin with so I don't understand how it was still dirty inside. There was so much dust inside and lots of white particles everywhere that wasn't there before. It looked as it wasn't cleaned or even made it dirtier.

I was super dissatisfied and rather go to Splash Brothers off Hesperian even though it takes longer.

I absolutely love this car wash and detailing spot - it's my favorite go-to place! They've recently upgraded their equipment, adding a brushless car wash, which is fantastic, especially since I've got a new car and am quite particular about how it's handled. They offer a variety of wash options, catering to different needs and preferences. What's more, the prices are surprisingly reasonable. Every time I've been here, they've delivered great service. It's reassuring to see the owner so actively involved, ensuring everything operates seamlessly. It's clear his dedication makes a big difference in the quality of service. Highly recommended!

I prepaid for 3 washes and it's not up to par on how it used to be. I used to live by the one on Jackson's and they did a great job. This one seems to only do the bare minimum and my car shows

Quality here has always been mediocre but now the prices have increased from high to ridiculous definitely won't be back.

$500??? to have a thorough car cleaning is absurd especially with the hard-working staff likely subsisting on minimum wage.

Greedy is the only way to describe that but there are plenty of fools who will overpay just not me.

Just look at the MOST RECENT Reviews and see the trend -- this is now a Corporate Chain still riding the reputation of the Family Business that built it.

Went on a Sunday morning and I was happy with their service. They vacuumed it and washed it. For their price it did what I would have done for the same price. Their detailed attention to detail was very good. I would go back :)

New ownership and they have a bunch of different deals. The car wash is okay for a quick and go. Prices are alright. Not my first choice, the manager on site had good communication though. The service was quick too.
