Most propane refill places charge you by the gallon. This place is a ripoff I brought 2 empty tanks and two half empty tanks. And one half sized tank. They charge a flat fee to fill the tank. So if it's half empty there is no difference in cost!
Every other place that fills charges by the gallon. Only time it is a flat fee is if they are exchanging your tank for a new tank like at a hardware store or the gas station just north of this one.

Cost effective option for getting my propane cylinder refilled. Cost me ~$20/cylinder as opposed to $30 for a cylinder exchange at Home Depot. Service was prompt and courteous. The pricing is clearly displayed.

Came here to refuel my propane's tanks but attendant was very rude and try to force me to pay more than posted price. He want at least $20 for each even you brink half empty tank.

My 240z blew coolant hose on Sunday. I took the first exit and nursed the car into the gas station. To my surprise they where opened on Sunday. Moe ( hope I am spelling his name correctly ) was friendly and help me get my car back on the road.

Gas pump painfully slow. You have to pay with debit or credit inside. At least it's safer paying inside; no identity theft, I guess, I hope.

I am writing this review about their propane refill service. I suspected that using the Blue Rhino exchange service short changes people on the amount of propane in a 20 gallon tank. I use those tanks for my BBQ and my fire pit. I own two tanks for each device since before I only owned one tank for my BBQ. This is before exchange programs. Anyway I did a little experiment and had one of my tanks filled which was completely empty and compared the weight to a 'full' Blue Rhino tank. The filled tank from San Mateo Auto Services was 4 pounds or about .9 gallons more full than the Blue Rhino. That's 20% more gas! Anyway SM Auto charges a flat 20.00 to fill a tank and I'll be going there from now on. In reading articles refill companies are only required to have 'at least' 15 gallons in their exchange tanks.

Refilled my AmeriGas BBQ propane bottle. $20. Faster and you know you're getting a complete refill. Recommend.

I've been bringing my propane tanks to be refilled here for a while now. They are always fast and courteous and fill my tanks for a very reasonable price. I always wondered if the pre-filled tanks were really full or not, now I know they are.
