Stopped in at Sana'a Cafe before going to the SF Museum of Modern Art on Sunday and was very pleasantly surprised at how delicious the coffee is. We ordered a pot of the Mofawar coffee for 2 ($9.49) and it was brought to us after about 10 minutes. It was such a cute presentation; the pot over a candle to keep the coffee hot and two little cups so you can take your time to sip the delicious coffee. The rich, flavorful coffee had a hint of cardomom.

I didn't have anything besides the coffee, but the pastries looked really good as they were being brought to other tables. Looking at the pastry case, though, some of the cakes that were covered in whipped cream looked as if they had been sitting for awhile; the fruit looked old and tired (maybe from the day before?). The other pastries looked good and the portions were generous. There were both sweet and savory pastries, so you get a good variety.

This was the first Yemeni coffee place I've been to, so I can't compare it to any others, but I'd definitely return if I was in the area again, especially since the people at the counter were really nice and the coffee was great!

Some of the best chai I've ever had. Found this place during my visit in SF and chose to meet up with some friends--very smooth and full of flavor! It's hard to find an authentic cup, so this had me thrilled for the rest of the afternoon. Also was the girls' first time trying chai as well and they really liked it.

Shared between 3 people, the price is pretty reasonable. I also love the trays and cups that come with the group orders, they're beautiful to look at.

I'm sad knowing I won't be able to visit again for a long time, but I would love to come back!

I came here yesterday during a conference. The food and coffee were good.

Suddenly, as we were eating, extremely loud (shockingly loud) music began blasting through the room. At first I thought someone had brought a loudspeaker or police PA system into the room.

Patrons began looking around as it felt very uncomfortable. When I looked at the counter, the employees were calmly sitting on the ground behind the counter, and I realized *they* were the ones who had turned on the loud music, as a way to get the patrons to leave. Apparently it was closing time.

As someone who worked in restaurants for a long time, there are countless ways to get patrons to leave at closing, that are more mature and less rude, than blasting music at full volume and making your paying customers extremely uncomfortable.

      Won't be back.

Sana'a Cafe is stellar. The staff here are friendly. The ambiance is awesome.

I have been here now twice with my beloved. I eschew caffeine aka only in chocolate yet usually get herbal tea here as my hot drink yet my girlfriend loves coffee and is a coffee connoisseur.

When we first went here she asked the barista for a recommendation. The barista said she recommends the chai so that is what my beloved went with.

She absolutely loved it and said this is one of the best chai she ever had.

Others here have that chai as well. Recommendation is go with the chai.

Diverse clientele with a relaxed welcoming vibe.

Experience it yourself and check them out!!!

What a Beautifully appointed little shop with great food and interesting decor! The Turkish Delight is truly beautiful art for the eyes and the pastries are delicate and delicious. The vibe is definitely laid back with a touch of the city feel enveloping your sense of sight, sound and smell. A definite must visit spot for a quick bite of for friends and laughs over coffee and sweets. My server was friendly and sweet and suggested the perfect drink with my beef morning pastry.

Great cafe located in the heart of the Financial District. The interior was very modern and clean. Plenty of seating inside and outside and was a nice place to have a conversation with friends over a snack. The honeycomb was recommended by their staff and it was a bit hit. It had cream cheese inside with honey on the side, a perfect balance between sweet and salty. I got the iced chocolate to pair with it and it was very smooth, I will definitely have to try their Yemeni Coffee next time!

We were looking for a night cap & came across this cute cafe that serves Yemeni coffee & tea. We got the Adeni chai paired with a cake & it was delicious. Service was great, they're a new spot so of course there were some minor hiccups, but they gave us a cake on the house as an apology which we appreciated. The ambiance is lovely & takes you back to Yemen. Looks like a great place to grab coffee tea with friends or a solo date with your book or laptop. Will definitely be back!

Came for a coffee while waiting for a conference to open up at Moscone. Cute cafe and the coffee is awesome - I'm picky about coffee (no Star*ucks for me) If you like your coffee with cardamom this is heaven.
Didn't order any food, I saw plenty of desserts but they looked too rich for a light breakfast. Place was very clean - much appreciated respite from the grime of Howard St

The service was very friendly and welcoming.
The ambiance in the cafe is really nice, a little oasis in the busy city. The food, however, was not perfect. The pistachio cheese cake tasted off, in fact it tasted moldy. The baklava cake was very good. The chai was way too sweet. The amount of tea in the pot was very little for two. I think you end up having more tea when you buy by the cup for the price. The chai was very, very, very sweet and very, very, very creamy. Not my taste.

The place has a nice vibe to it. Their bakery foods look promising (didn't try it tho).
The iced spanish latte was good
There is something about iced pistachio lattes that make it taste watered down so I asked for extra pistachio sauce.
It would have tasted so good if it was added in before the ice in the cup because it wasn't mixing into the drink it was just a glob on the bottom of the cup. I tried to mix it in but every taste was unpredictable because it wasn't mixing.
The Dubai chocolate was not worth 8 bucks and didn't taste that good, it's a pass for me.
Also I tried the Sana'a cafe on broadway in Oakland
      Couldn't find their yelp page
