      * Great sandwich filling, blah bread! *

Ok, thank you to the other Yelpers that turned me on to this place.

Had the combo which included a nice housemade turkey vegetable soup - made with freshly roasted turkey and nice chunky veggies. It was well seasoned, and very nice on a cold day.

On to the sandwich...They roast turkey fresh every day and create lovely sandwich fillings with it. You get a very large mound of the pulled turkey (your choice of white/dark/mixed), fresh tomatoes, lettuce, avocado scooped fresh (or cheese), and cranberry spread. Great sandwich filling - with generous portions of all!

But the bread. Oy. Supermarket quality. WTF?!?!?! Why ruin such lovely sandwich filling with supermarket bread? Seriously, a fifth star would be forthcoming if they just got a good bread supplier!

Bread is soooooo important for a good sandwich. I wonder if I can bring my own and ask them to use it, and if they'll get the hint?!?!?!?!

      Turkey Wrap - 4 stars
      Turkey Sandwich - 3 stars
      Club sandwich - 3.5 stars

I've had the food here more than a couple of times. They dob't skimp on the turkey. On a good day, their turkey wrap/sandwich is spot on. On every other day....I can only say that I left the meal 75% full...lots of turkey all the time. ..But even more would be appreciated.

They will most likely honor your request to customize your sandwich according to how you like it... but you have to tell them how you like it. They're not psychics

      3.5 stars.

Found this place using Yelp. The reviews were spot on.
Located in a compact little food court, it's not easy to find.
Very friendly staff. Sandwiches were really good. Ingredients were fresh. The person making my club sandwich took such care making sure it was constructed perfectly. Aligning all the ingredients (bacon, avacado, lettuce) so the presentation was great as well.
I will definitely be back the next time I am in Vancouver.

Echoing what other reviewers have said, Sandwich Plus does not skimp on the filling! I grabbed the Turkey special for $9 which includes either a salad or a soup of the day. I went with their cream of mushroom which tastes like they make it from scratch (none of the Campbell's canned variety). They don't ask if you'd like white or dark meat anymore, they automatically do a mix of both. I am absolutely stuffed after finishing my lunch today!

Only thing I would prefer would be a bit more mayo - sandwich felt a tad dry.

      Yup. A goldmine!

I have walked past the entrance of this food court every day for the past month and a half and never had an inkling to explore further.
      Today I went mining.

I dug up a four inch piled high turkey sandwich. Complete with slices of avocado, dark red tomato, crisp lettuce on hearty multigrain bread. You even get to pick white or dark meat or both. They literally pick up a handful of meat and pile it onto the bread.

The price is up to $5.75, but it is worth every penny. I had a bowl of homemade split pea soup on the side which was heavenly.
I will be back for further exploration.

I guess it's a little odd to not have sandwiches at a place named Sandwich Plus, but that's exactly what I did. I had soup because of this awful flu that just won't go away. It was a cold and windy day, plus it made me feel so much better.

I ordered the turkey and vegetable soup which was well seasoned without being overly salty. It was a little too peppery, but otherwise quite good and conforting. The ratio of soup to turkey/vegetables were 60 to 40. Just riiiiiight...

My favourite sandwich in the world is their Turkey Sandwich.

      My directions:

Turkey sandwich on brown. No butter or mayo, just cranberry sauce on both sides. No veggies, just avocado. Extra salt and pepper (about 4 shakes each). Mix of dark and light turkey meat. No pickles.

      Price:

$6.85, includes tax and debit fee.

The sandwich lady is hard at work.
Mix of dark and white turkey, cranberry sauce on one side, only veggies are avocados, lots of s & p.

$7.00 for a turkey wrap w/dark and light turkey meat, avocado, lettuce, tomato, onions and cucumber. Best turkey wrap in a long time. First place I have seen who doesn't buy their turkey as a processed loaf from a wholesale supplier.

The processed loafs are not good meat, typically containing bits of spinal cord and other parts which you wouldn't normally eat: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mechanically_separated_meat

The wrap had so much filling in it, it wouldn't close. Very good. Highly recommend for as a healthy protein source w/o prions.

I've been a huge fan of Sandwich Plus since I worked around the corner from them. Their sandwiches are art!

The turkey sandwich is really the only one I've had, because it's stupid delicious - you get a choice of cheese or avocado (um, avocado, obviously), dark or light meat (both!), and a host of tasty toppings, including cranberry sauce. And they are not stingy on the filling for this sandwich. The last time I got it it took me two days to eat because the meat was packed in so tightly!

Last time I was there my friend and I shared their Mexican wrap - it was also pretty delicious, but I would go back for the turkey, and the turkey alone.

The prices are super reasonable for what you get, you can skip the line if you just want soup, and the staff are super friendly! Well worth stopping in.

      This place is fantastic.

It's a food court sandwich place and they also dabble in some tex-mex and breakfast items, as well (taco salads, burritos, eggs, bacon, grilled cheese).
I like the prices and how much meat you get when you order a sandwich (seriously, you can't close your mouth around one of these things) and for around 6 bucks, it's a pretty good deal!

I keep coming back for the legendary turkey sandwich, and you get to choose whether you get dark or white meat.

Second trip: I got the taco salad!
Oh man, the shell is PERFECT and they pile on veggies, beans, salsa and sour cream and cheese on top. Very filling, tastes great and only 7-something dollars. Yes please.
