I contacted Scot to refinish my badly oxidized aluminum traile that sat on the bluff of the ocean for several years.

Scot is a stellar guy who communicated with me quickly and answered all my questions.

He's flexible and worked with me on timing, price, and freely shared his knowledge about finish work and products.

      He's a great guy, I highly recommend!

      Unbelievably unprofessional!

On the phone, Scot was totally rude right from the start.
Wouldn't let me finish a sentence and kept cutting me off.
After listening to him complain about the location of the boat needing detailed, he went on to tell me he didn't want his equipment getting wet.
Ok, fine by me. I was tired of listening to him anyway.
I said I was going to pass and ended the call.

He immediately sent a text message full of obscene language saying I'm F^@4ing RUDE!

Do yourself a favor and PASS on this incredibly disrespectful business person. After reading the other reviews, it's clear Scot has a serious anger/rage problem and hires incompetent employees that aren't capable of doing a good job.

Glad I learned this about him beforehand and not after the fact like so many of the others.

If I could give negative stars I would.

Worst place ever! We were super excited to get our boat cleaned, Scott came to our house, obviously to clean our boat... they came unprepared, having to leave multiple tones to get supplies from the store, leaving his employees at my house, Scott came back, to his employees sitting in the front driveway. Our boat has some minor rust spots so they sprayed them, apparently they don't know how far the paint goes because it got all over our BRAND NEW CHEVY 2500 DURIMAX!! When we told Scott that we wanted to be refunded due to the damage to the truck (we had to go get an expensive cleaning to get the paint off) he said he would take us to small claims court if we tried to get anything from him. *we still have all the emails and texts of Scott threatening us, while also admitting he screwed up* also, our boat speakers are shot because his wife pressure washed them for 20mins. $500 is a lot of money, I expect good results when giving someone that much to clean a damn boat. I would never recommend this company

I have a lot of respect for people who own their own business and work hard to get what they have, but the way this man acted was disgusting. Also, since Scott wants to post a bunch of pictures showing how great his work is, I'll show the truth.

The pictures show that they sprayed over our trailers ID number, and over the emblem of the trailer. They were there to spray the boat and they covered our damn proof of having a street legal trailer.

Cancelled the appt to detail my small RV the day before it was scheduled to happen. Said that wax wouldn't provide more than two months of protection to my roof if applied hand (which means he wasn't planning on applying wax with a buffer!). I suspect he was having trouble getting help for the job and didn't want to do it himself.

Sadly we were not impressed with Scott's detail. My husband dropped our boat off to him and was told it wills take 2 days to complete the job. He called my husband at 6pm notifying him it was ready and that He had to come to pick it up now. This was an inconvenience all around because of the timing but he went anyway. Upon arrival he inspected his detail only to find several areas that were not touched one of them being under the boat seat and the dash. When he pointed it out he seemed flustered and says the stuff on dash wouldn't come off but He wiped it off with his finger. The woman there said she wiped it all down- He said he could keep for another day to fix it since My husband was a "perfectionist" this is annoying for many reasons- perfection should be expected when getting a detail and paying a premium price! The following day upon pick up my husband once again noticed areas that had not been cleaned. When he asked about these areas Scott once again called him a perfectionist. I cannot stress how super annoying this is. Yes sir we do expect perfection upon paying that amount for a detail... That is why it is called a detail!! My husband then pointed out that it was still done incorrectly and asked him if he should pay full price for detail when it was still not completed...Scott annoyingly said yes he had to pay full price. The word detail says it all and that is what was lacking. He did a very good job washing the boat however it was not a detail and certainly not worth the amount of money that We paid. The photos I'm about to include were taken immediately following this said detail. Please note that the dirt shown in the photos was easily removed with a washcloth or my finger. These were things that my husband pointed out to Scott when Scott annoyingly commented yet again that he was just perfectionists! Perhaps he is better at detailing RVs, perhaps we are just as he said many times perfectionist, either way this was a poor job all around.

Please note I didn't meet Scott.

Please note Scott got so upset about my review he is threatening a lawsuit.

I also forgot to add that he said he could fill in a scratch in the red paint- he did it with the wrong color red. Next time lets say no if you can't match the color or perhaps tell the customer it won't match prior to doing it.

I made a great mistake bringing my boat to Scott and doing business with this company. Upon pulling up to his house which is in a very bad area of Santa Rosa I should have pulled away. I am a person who will give some one a chance. So I parked my boat in the drive way had a chat about services. I asked a few times about particulars, what exactly was done on a detail and was told "if it is on the boat or trailor it will be done". So I said ok. I'll do this. I was called around 530 two days later to pick up the boat. Upon arrival it looked great. That was until I got inside the boat. I started looking around and noticed untouched areas everywhere. So as I am pointing out missed spots a lady kept stating "well I wiped it down". I saw other places pointed it out and got the same answer. "I wiped it down!" So as we all know if you get a detail there is a whole lot more than wiping down the surface. There were whole areas untouched, stuff I could scrape off with my finger nail. I asked Scott about the areas and he said he had not even been in the boat and made a remark about how I was a perfectionist but said he would fix the mistakes and I come back the next day. The next day when I arrive the same areas were the same dirty area the next day. It was like they put more armor all on the same areas. It was cleaned, It was still not detailed.

When I initially dropped off I pointed out that I had a few scratches and asked if he could fill them. He shouldn't agree to work he's not suited to do. Let me tell you guys there is such poor workmanship he filled scratched with paint colors that didn't come close to matching. There was also a crack in the wheel well of my boat trailer, Scott decided to take red spray paint and spray paint a section of my trailer the wrong color red. It's not even as if he tried to blend the red, and mind you the wrong color red. And we hadn't even discussed the trailer he just did it! So after I had gone over the boat Scott said well that's all we can do. I asked if he was going to charge me the whole 500 I was quoted and he said yes. So I paid him the 500 even though the services promised came no where close to being fulfilled.

So after I was home I had my wife post here on yelp for me since she's the one who does yelp. Scott sent her an email threatening her with a lawsuit. He is now saying he going to sue her for a bad review . Let this be clear fellow yelp people. He said he is going to sue her for a bad review and slander. Are you kidding me? The work was poor. So poor he wanted to do it again. After a second failed attempt he still charged me full price. He even stated when I picked it up he had a few bad days with his helpers. Scott knew a bad job was performed and was ok with it.

My review is of a horrible company who performed a horrible job at the craft they were supposed to be good in. Please be careful.

And as you can see below Scott claims 20 hours on the interior not it was still not detailed. And Scott never even looked or got inside the boat. There was no quality control.

And as far as his workers, Scott apologized for them and their lack of experience. His last helper was let go for stealing Scott's van and money to go to the casino. This is the caliber of people working on your personal property. BE AWARE of who you are letting work on your personal property.

This is how classy this business owner Scott is. He replied to my photo with this.

Hi David, scott r. sent you a message on Yelp:
      Subject: Your Review
"My God, The red and red on your trailer is like night and day, hehe..putz"

You can see the different colors. He thought this was wise.

Scott did a great job. He picked up the car first thing in the morning. The car was brought back sometime in the afternoon. It looked amazing inside and out. His price was more than reasonable. If you are going to have your car detailed I can't think of any place that would be better or more convenient.

It was strange to come home and see the car in the driveway with all the doors and trunk open. I understand that it needs to dry out and that leaving it open makes sense. He might want to warn you about this though. It is a little jarring to drive up and see your car looking so exposed on the driveway.

I've had nice cars, junkers, cars to be sold, and cars I've bought detailed here and it's always impressive to see the results. It's as though they break down cars into every little piece, toss them in a washing machine, and then put them all back together.

This is a top-notch detailer, and given its location (down a driveway behind a building), can be easy to miss. Fast and friendly people.

Did a GREAT job on my husband's Lexus SUV. His discounted coupon price makes him the best value in town, too.

He picks up your car PROMPTLY in the morning and has it back about 5 hours later.

Worth every penny. And I may even have him do my car too!

Scott and his helper did such a beautiful job on my fiberglas Scamp trailer! They even re-painted the black bumper and A-hitch! What a nice surprise to see my trailer in "Dealer Lot" condition, frankly for the first time ever, since it was delivered dirty in the first place (all the way from Michigan).

I fully intend to see Scot again next spring. Thanks, Scot!
