I brought my girlfriend, we did the tandem jet ski for the 2.5 hour loop, and we had an amazing time. The views were incredible and we got some very memorable photos, I definitely recommend getting the photo package if you decide to go. The only issue I had was finding the location/workers when we first arrived. Overall it was an awesome experience!

FRAUD ALERT! These people are money hungry scam artists!!!!!! A group of us took the train from maryland to NY then an uber from NY to NJ for this trip. One of our people showed up at 9:01pm (our booking was at 9pm for 6 people). They left all 6 of us at the port and did the experience with 2 random ass girls who were not okay to wait a fucking minute. This was supposed to be a 21st birthday experience for my baby sister but these people messed up a whole day of traveling across state lines for this. I had mentioned it was for a birthday on the booking and I even had called someone earlier to make sure there were coming to be no hiccups. Terrible people, I recommend never using this service.

Travels all the way from Maryland and they won't refund our $1,022.90 even tho 75% of their fucking payment came from me

Omg! This was one of the funnest experiences of my life!!! And a big thanks to Tom, our guide, for making it so incredible!!! We did the 6:45 PM tour and it had been cloudy, so the lighting of the sky as some of the building lights came on was pretty epic!
Our group was 8 and had some not as experienced riders. Tom knew we wanted to go fast so he called for help and one of the managers came to join and ride with others that wanted to have a great experience too, but different speed. Tom was amazing to let my friend and I just go for it in the Hudson! We've jet skies a lot, but this whole experience by far left the biggest smile on our faces! I will definitely go back and definitely ask for Tom!! Thank you for an absolutely EPIC adventure!!!!

This was such a cool experience! Add this to your bucket list whether you're a NYC local or a tourist.
We had two amazing tour guides (Jo and Nicole) who took us all around the Statue of Liberty, under the Brooklyn bridge, and all around the island of Manhattan! They were both super helpful with learning how to maneuver through the waves and even with suggestions on things to do in the city.
It was jaw dropping seeing the city from a jet ski! This was such an amazing experience. 10/10 and I will be suggesting it to anyone coming to NYC.

We had an awesome time on our jet skiing tour with Sea The City! They took us by the skyline views of Manhattan, by the Brooklyn Bridge and the Statue of Liberty. You are with a group and they ask you to stay in a straight line, but you are able to go fast and do your own thing a little bit.

The reason for a lower score is due to the attitudes of the workers. They weren't very friendly to us on the tour and I think it would have been even more fun if we had tour guides that seemed like they wanted to be there/treated us better. They also take pictures of you and then only send them to you after if you buy them. They take them on an iPhone and then upload to a shared Google folder (you have to search through hundreds of photos to find your own) so it just doesn't seem like they should be charging as much as they do..

All staff except the tour guide were very nice. The reason for this low rating is because of this place's policy on staying in an exact line as the jet ski in front of you which creates safety concerns, and the tour guide's confrontational attitude.

Disclaimer: I jet ski a ton, have been to almost all NYC jet ski establishments, and never had any issue. I also think safety should always be the primary concern of any business, as I value safety extremely highly myself and the exact reason for this review is because I think Seathecity's current policy is in fact creating rather than eliminating safety issues.

I jet skied a few time at Seathecity last summer, had no issue. However, this year, the tour guide insisted extremely strongly on staying in the exact line as the jet skis in front of you. And when she means exact, she means an exact straight line without any slightest deviation. When I tried to jet ski slightly to the left of the line because I do not want to potentially crush into the jet ski in front of me and do not want to stay in the wake of the jet ski in front of me all the time, I got yelled at by the tour guide. I should emphasize here that I literally got yelled at, not talked to, not reminded of, but very aggressively and loudly yelled at. And then throughout the tour, we're constantly asked to stay in an exact line without any slight deviation. Imagine when you go out for jet ski, looking for fun, and all you ended up doing is staying in the wake of the jet ski in front you, even getting the water of that jet ski in your face, and constantly worried of crushing into that jet ski. How ridiculous is this. As a matter of fact, I never ever got to go full throttle or even go over 40mph during the trip, as I fear immensely of crushing into the jet ski in front of me if I went too fast, and of getting yelled at again if I deviated slightly to the side from that straight line.

Safety should always be the primary concern, which is exactly why I found this guideline is horrific. This guideline to stay in the exact same line as the jet ski in front of you is is creating more safety issues than eliminating them. When all jet skis stay in the exact same line and when most are inexperienced jet skiers or someone who's never gone jet skiing before, they are more likely to crush into each other. It's also taking all the fun of jet skiing away because you're staying in the wake of the jet ski in front of you all the time, and you cannot speed up at all but drifting with the line. Lastly, the attitude of the tour guide is the deal breaker for me--very confrontational and extremely out of the place, as this person adopts aggressive yelling as the primary measure for communication.

Tl;dr; if you like staying in an exact line with all other jet skis and enjoy staying in their wake all the time, getting their water on your face, going extremely slowly, and enjoying the risk of potentially crushing into the jet ski in front, and plus like getting yelled at, then I highly recommend this place.

If not, go find other jet ski establishments in the city, who in my humble opinion has way newer jet skis and better tour guides.

      AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!

The experience is like no other! The experience starting from the check in was amazing. Everybody was super nice and professional.

I do want to give a special thanks to Annie and Andrew who guided us during our tour.

We rode on a tandem jet ski and caught some serious air! You are able to go pretty fast (they don't baby you--WOO!) Even if it's your very first time jet skiing, Andrew and Annie were making sure nobody was falling behind and were very kind and took some gnarly photos!

Honestly, we will be back soon!!

There are not many things you do in an already incredible city where you go "wow, this is phenomenal," but this experience really exceeded our expectations and blew every other boat ride out of the water.

We did the hot tub ride with a few friends and were amazed at not only the incredible catamaran and the views, but at the hospitality and service that was provided to us by Victor, Josh, Yosh, Dan (sorry if there was someone I missed.) I highly (HIGHLY) recommend doing the hot tub if you're ready for an unforgettable night. You're checked up on every couple minutes so you're sure to have a safe and great time.

Pro tip: bring beer and wine for an even more amazing time!

      This was sooooo fun!
We made reservations ahead of time for the first time slot on a Friday in July. I booked for me and my daughter and bought the picture pack, too. You'll want that because you can't take your phone out there.
I'm so glad that we went early in the day because the water was less choppy. There are parts that are choppy but you can totally handle it. Our guide, Jenny, was great.
They give you everything that you need. The jet skis were very nice and I felt safe the whole time.
This is a super unique experience and I totally recommend it!

I wish I would have heard of this place a long time ago. I work upstate all summer so I took a gamble and booked a Monday December morning. I lucked out and got beautiful weather and clear skies. I was the only one in my tour too cause I guess...Monday morning right? My tour guide was very helpful and friendly, she made sure I was alright as much as possible and patient. She gave me space to ride and pick up my confidence. Jenny was really friendly and informative. I normally don't do things like this but they both made me feel at ease. Photo package is worth it. My tour guide I wish I remembered her name took tons of pictures. Lucky I was the only one. They uploaded them the following day and was available for download via link to your email. I lost my hat but the experience made up for it.
