What a great hidden gem for your aquatic needs, specifically shrimp! Neo was so helpful and knowledgeable and I'll definitely be coming back very soon!

They had a special on 20 Blue Rili Shrimp and I could not resist ordering two orders. Unfortunately one of the packages arrived with only a couple alive (We live in Colorado and had a 90F+ heat wave for a week including the day of arrival). I reached out with the required photos and sent them an email. Luan responded the same day and had a new shipment on the way, which arrived with only one DOA. Could not be happier with the colors and quality of these shrimp!

Randomly found this place while searching on Yelp and decided to check it out. Incredible selection of aquatic shrimp, and the staff was extremely helpful and informative. Shoutout to Neo who helped me while I picked out my shrimp. Ended up leaving with two assorted bags of shrimps at a great price. Will definitely come back to support this local shop.

So, on a whim, my gf and I decided to jump into this whole freshwater tank world. Honestly, we had no clue where to begin. Enter SF Aquatic. From the get-go, it felt like we'd struck gold. We visited a few times, and each trip was a blast. Everyone there isn't just knowledgeable; they're downright passionate and super approachable. Ended up grabbing all our gear from them, and man, the quality is top-notch. Plus, those Guppies and the Discuss and Red Tail fish we got? Absolutely stunning and lively.

Their vibe is just unbeatable, making fish shopping way more fun than we ever imagined. The atmosphere, the advice, the variety--it's all 10/10. Big love and shoutout to the SF Aquatic crew. We're hooked (pun intended) and won't be going anywhere else for our underwater adventures.

Walnut Creek is not a place I'd expect there to be an aquarium store, but tucked in a quiet business park with ample parking, SF Aquatic is spacious and lovely. The owners are super nice and speak both English and Vietnamese. My spouse and I were offered assistance when we first walked in and got to browse in peace. Stock included flowerhorns, a variety of GloFish, angelfish, guppies, goldfish, and colorful patterned shrimp. The giant flowerhorn at the front caught my spouse's eye!

One place where SF Aquatic stands out the plant selection -- each plant has a clear label unlike many other stores that either don't label their plants, or write all of the plant types on the corner of the tank, leaving you to guess which is which. They've got a good variety of plants including rarer colors and cultivars as opposed to just the usual Java ferns, anubias, etc.

I had bought some sick fish the prior day at a different store and needed help. One of the men looked at the photo I took and diagnosed it as ich, and he gave me step-by-step instructions on how to set up a quarantine tank and treat the illness without upselling me on anything! He generously even offered me an airstone for my quarantine tank. I bought a bottle of ich medication for a really reasonable price and my fish are all healed up now!

They don't have a lot of stock of tank equipment yet; I think I remember seeing only smaller filters and heaters.

Very Friendly and Knowledgeable Staff. The shrimps I bought from here are top grade and are doing amazing in my tank. Luke is very knowledgeable. Great place to shop.

This store will be my only place to pickup fishes from now on. I got 3 discus and one flower horn from this store. All of them are very healthy. When I got the 3 discus, because I was a beginner so I did not know that I have to quarantine the fishes, I just introduced them right into the tank and luckily I did not have any issue... Thanks God, the new fishes did not carry diseases. This place has very beautiful discus I have ever seen.

I've repeatedly purchased shrimp from this seller on SF Aquatic's webpage and Amazon. The shrimp are always healthy and shipping is extremely fast; it only takes 2 days to arrive( I live in East Texas). The owner- Luan Le is very enthusiastic and dedicated to assisting his customers. I will definitely stop by when I have a chance to visit California. Despite being a new business, I bet SF Aquatic can be a great competitor to Flip Aquatic, SoShrimp, and Shrimpy business in prices and quality. Big thanks to you Luan!
