I've shopped here for years and always do my homework on my purchases. Furniture, mattresses, clothing , small appliances, seasonal decorations. And food items.
This place is my go to browse for treasures.

I've been shopping here for years. Just a fun place to find good quality Home goods, food and clothing. Lisa the manager is enthusiastic at her job always with a smile and welcoming customers. Always willing to answer questions about products. Store is clean and well organized. Give it a try you never know what you might find

Normally, I don't write reviews unless it's for outstanding service. In which case this is not a place where I can say that elderly people are made to feel valuable. My mother recently went and purchased an item that many elderly folks purchase. Let's just leave it at that. when she realized that they were the wrong size she went back to the store to try to exchange it for a different size. My mother is almost 80 years old. she doesn't do a lot of driving. What's most disturbing is the way she was treated when she attempted politely to exchange the item. They were so rude to her and made her feel like a secondhand citizen. I have to say it was a middle age man with a belly who treated her this way. I just want to say shame on those that treat our elderly bad.

I just wanted to quickly post some pictures of a few of the great things that I have purchased here.

I bought an E cooler for around $250. Looked new when purchased. Seemed to check out when I got it home. Did not work properly the first time it was used, several weeks later.

I called the store to report the problem and seek a remedy. Since the product had been purchased more than 14 days ago, I was told that basically I was stuck with it.

When I called the company, they said that Heroic is not an authorized retailer of the company's products, and, as such, refused to warranty the product.

For any significant purchase, it is not worth the discount typically given at this store, because it is not a large enough markdown to account for the risk assumed by the buyer.

Buyer beware at Heroic. Better off getting stuff from a real store.

A great place to shop friendly, welcoming , and very helpful. Great prices and an amazing assortment of different products. Quality furniture clothes, household items. It is a fun place to shop. I give this establishment 5 stars.

I don't shop here often and after today I'll certainly never shop there again. I visited shop heroic with my mother who was purchasing a Xmas gift a few weeks ago. She selected a knife set that looked very nice so I decided to purchase one for myself. I opened the set at home and the fist knife I pulled out was broken; the entire tip was missing. No big deal, things happen. I put it right back in the box. Today I came in with the receipt to return or exchange. As soon as I said I had an item that was damaged I noticed a less than accommodating tone from the woman up front who asked "what's the problem?" I explained a knife was broken and searched to find which one. She immediately saw it was broken but then started inspecting the knife and said "you used this." I replied that it wasn't used by me and that I saw the damage and put it right back in the box. Perhaps it was an item that was already retuned because the packaging showed clear signs it was previously opened. She called over a man who I'm assuming is a manager. He came over, didn't greet me, looked at the knife and said (with no eye contact) "I'm not going to do it. Sorry." When I asked why he said due to it being used. I explained again that it was not used by me and he just repeated "I'm not going to do it."

Honestly, it was $40 so I don't really care about the monetary loss. It was the accusatory tone, no eye contact, and lacking level of service that prompted this review.

Do not shop here!!!

Purchased a used electric bottle car jack missing some parts which I was aware of. The Jack broke on initial used almost causing a serious injury and after speaking to the manager he would not do anything for me.

Found the exact item online NEW for the same price.
Over the years I've had multiple businesses always learn the art of customer service, how to treat the customer and the value of a customer.

I returned it within two days of the return period. I have spent thousands of dollars here the manager Wayne does not understand the meaning of keeping a good customer or customer service. I was fine with store credit but they wouldn't accept that option he said it wasn't in the same condition it left the store but of course it wasn't the jack broke the first time I used it causing the car to rapidly fall down. Wayne looked at it saw that it was cracked and stated it's not in the same condition as when it left here. obviously it wasn't it broke during the initial use as it was faulty from the beginning. That's why it was most likely returned initially. Poor customer service I will be disputing with my credit card.

In my experience shopping here, most items are priced 15-20% off of the normal price you'll see in the original store. Sometimes, the manager makes mistakes in determining a price, so if you are willing to comb through the shelves and do your research, you might be able to capitalize on the mistake and walk out with a bargain.

But make no mistake, you will not get the after sales service or support from Shop Heroic, they have shifted most all the products to the dreaded final sale zone. Which means if there is any legitimate problem after you take it home, you're stuck with it forever. Which I think should be illegal.

Don't bother trying to haggle for something you know is unfairly priced, the manager here is unreasonable, condescending and is never wrong. A sad little king on a sad little hill, who gets his kicks on being in control and being right.

I'll keeping stopping in here for that rare bargain, but for most things, I believe it's worth buying at full retail for the customer service and support you receive. Or rather shop at another wholesale store like this across town, in my opinion the products are priced better and the owners are extremely nice and reasonable, nice like here.
