Siam Orchid Traditional Thai Massage

This place can be heavenly with the right massage therapist!!! My body tends to be tight and I really need that deep tissue, good pain that comes from very strong pressure, which is why I seek Thai body massage. Anna is absolutely amazing, excellent at deep tissue/ strong pressure massage--a true healer. Anna likes to help people feel better and her intuitive massage skills, vibe and words confirm this. Anna is very strong and called herself a "knot buster," which is wonderful and true! She found knots and sore spots and broke them. I feel so much better in my body. I've been to her a few times and left very happy and satisfied each time.

If you don't like intense pressure and pain therefrom, Marisa is better for you. One day I got a Groupon (15 min foot, 60 min thai body massage, and steam room access) and went to book with someone Yelp said did deep tissue well, rainy, because Anna wasn't available. I booked with rainy but was given Marisa, whose massage was nice but gentler and did not meet my expectations for extreme deep pressure and good therapeutic pain from tension dissolving in knots.

I later found out if you're asked if you prefer a male or female massage therapist at check in, when you already booked a particular person online, then you won't be getting who you requested, so double check who you're getting if that happens to you if you're expecting to get a specified massage therapist.

After I expressed I didn't feel satisfied from that massage with Marisa because I needed more pressure, the owner / manager was extremely concerned that I was disappointed by a gentler massage and enticed me to come back to get the type of massage my body needed! I've been to well over 100 different massage places and Siam orchid Thai massage has the best customer service. No proprietor has ever been so concerned or kind after my experience was not great. I am very impressed and appreciate them.

The foot massage was gentler, not like some other places where I start to sweat from the pain/stimulation of imbalanced acupressure points. Super relaxing and firm(not ticklish).

The ambience is very nice, all wooden with orchids with incense or candles scent wafting about and steam coming out of a humidifier in the hallway. The room itself for massage is nice: private, spacious with relaxing zen music playing. You don't really hear any other movement or customers in the hallway. Very tranquil ambience. They pay attention to cute and chill details.

You get some loose pajamas to wear.

If you can, I recommend the steam room access. After the massage you bring your stuff to the back where the steam room is. Looked clean. There are locks and lockers to stow your belongings. I noticed they had flat iron and curling iron to touch up your hair.

I know this place from years ago, this the best massage place. Amber the therapist very good & nice, she is good in adjust pressure & massage my tired muscle, with relaxing music. This place is quiet, professional. I also got the massage once for 30 minutes office syndrome with other therapist before, she was very good, but forgot her name.

Owner as I know, she also very nice & provide good quality care. I coming back here sometimes. Try this massage place, you won't dissapointed. 5 stars for this place.

This is one of the best massage places in SF, and this is coming from a massage snob The entire experience starts with calming tea followed by a welcoming greeting. The interior is made of nice wood, which creates a natural and soothing environment.

My partner had Sabrina and I had Irene do the massages. My partner kept sighing the entire time. He said he was massaged like a Playdoh. Irene was extremely professional and her skills were undeniable. She never hurt me once. Every step or deep press was calculated beforehand to ensure the perfect pressure point. In the end, I left feeling extremely relaxed, which was exactly what I asked for.

Place was beautiful and smelled amazing. Currently in a blissful post message relaxation and would suggest to any looking for a Thai message

We did the couples swedish massage here! upon arrival you fill out a form and you can let them know what areas you would like them to focus on and how much pressure you would like for them to use. The staff is friendly and were asking to make sure we felt comfortable and were very professional. The place is decorated nicely and smells really good. The massage was amazing, we were relaxed and felt so good once it was over, definitely recommend this place!

I stopped by this afternoon at Siam Orchid as a walk-in to get a 60 min deep tissue massage. My second deep massage at this location. Although I was a walk in, I waited no more than 10 minutes. My therapist was amazing, I'm almost sure she was the same therapist from my last visit. Definitely a deep tissue massage with her. Made me feel very comfortable, constantly checking in with me making sure I was ok and felt comfortable. Although she had a gentle touch she definitely was able to get some stubborn knots in my upper back. Felt relaxed and as light as a feather after the massage. Will continue to return!

Booked my sister a massage here, she went with her bf and they really enjoyed it. They said they found the space to be clean with a relaxing environment. It was a great experience and they would come back again.

Such a nice experience today having a massage here. I had the 60 minute Swedish / Thai massage for the first time here and will probably come regularly from now on.
Location is very close to home, no appointment needed, prices are very reasonable.
60 minute for $115 and only $97 if you pay with cash.
The massage was very thorough, from head to feet (almost to toe).
Mixed pressure hard and soft, a very good session.
No hassle and convenient massage whenever I want it.
I highly recommend.

I always look forward to coming to Siam Orchid! I've gotten the 75 minute Thai massage with Samantha and Sendee, who were both excellent. They knew exactly where to focus without me saying anything, like with my back since I'm always hunched over a computer. They also create a really nice environment with their space, like offering you tea before and after, Toto toilets, and welcoming decor. Look out for the seasonal specials they offer with discounts, which I think are really affordable for SF. I highly recommend coming here to improve your day.

They changed the music :) had another great massage today. Was happy to have relaxing music as well.
