Sierra Sherpas

I reached out to Sierra Sherpas after a recommendation from a friend and had a great experience! They came prepared with additional crates and moving boxes to help consolidate and make the move more efficient. They took care in wrapping my furniture to keep it protected in transit. They also helped me take my couch out to the curb for bulky item disposal and were super friendly and easy to work with throughout the experience. Definitely would hire again and recommend them to anyone!

I was really really stressed about moving because it was the first time I was doing it without the help of my dad. But Orion made the move seem so easy and seamlessly done, I was so impressed. He talked about his trips camping while moving and it took my mind off all the stress from moving. The move was also really affordable and quick - I was moving from a furnished studio apartment to another furnished studio apartment. I will whole heartedly recommend Sierra Sherpas to any person moving in the Bay Area. Orion made my move not only less stressful physically but also emotionally.

I just had my second move w Sierra Sherpas. Both times for about 1 BR worth of furniture within SF. It was the best call! You hear so many horror stories about movers and it's so refreshing to find businesses like these that are kind, professional, and reasonable. Orion remembered me from my original move 7 years ago (which was my first time hiring movers!) and the experience was just as great as my last. Very responsive, easy to schedule and coordinate with, and also very reasonably priced. They showed up on time, moved quickly, and took great care of my furniture. It was totally worth it vs trying to move on my own.

We just moved and Sierra Sherpas Moving Co was INCREDIBLE! I'm only giving them 5 stars because there's no option for 10 stars. Orion & his crew, Chris & Mike, worked their butts off for 12 hours helping us move and combine two households. It was literally jaw dropping how professional, respectful, STRONG, efficient, and fast they worked. I had an unexpected work issue that delayed me from finishing the rest of my packing, and the sherpas swept in and saved the day by finishing it up for us. Incredible. And did I mention STRONG?! Shockingly strong.

Sierra Sherpas is the absolute best! I reached out to them for a recent move upon the recommendation of a friend, and was so satisfied that I reached out to them again this week about a furniture delivery that I needed support with. Orion and Matt are responsive, efficient, straightforward, reliable, thorough, careful with your belongings, and most of all, super friendly and kind! When they arrived on moving day, I still had quite a bit to pack up and they helped me get everything organized and out the door, making my life SO much easier. 100000/10 would recommend.

I have hired Sierra Sherpas twice, first in 2019 to move an elliptical to my apartment and again in 2022 to move me out of my apartment. The elliptical was extremely heavy. Chris and Orion moved it up to my fourth floor apartment without any problems. There were no hidden fees and they did an excellent job.

Based on that good experience, in 2022, I hired Sierra Sherpas to move me out of my apartment. Again, Chris and Orion did a great job. They were prompt and worked quickly and carefully. They needed to dismantle my desk to get it through a doorway. They then reassembled the desk and it works perfectly. The price was very reasonable and again there were no hidden fees. This was the best experience I have had with movers.

I recently had a pretty complex move (2 apartments needed to be packed up and taken about 3 hours away) and this company made my life so much easier than I thought possible. I had to reschedule the move 4 separate times and they were totally understanding and accommodating.
On the day of the move they took care of everything and the cost of the whole thing was astonishingly reasonable. I will be using Sierra Sherpas for all my future moves and recommending them strongly to all my friends and family.

Orion and his crew moved us from the Outer Sunset to Concord. Orion promptly returned my request for a quote and any follow up emails. They were on time and efficient. We had a lot of stairs in SF and they were able to get the job done quick! Orion helped us the next day after we realized we forgot some stuff in a storage locker. 5/5 would definitely recommend!
