Silk Water

My old water softener didn't work as well as before for a while so I have been doing research online. In one forum, I saw some people paying thousands of dollars for a new water softener. That's definitely not for me. After reading many reviews, I decided to call Trung. We had a discussion about the symptoms I saw. Then he determined that I indeed need a new softener. He gave me a quote right away. It was reasonable, so we set up an appointment.

On the appointment date, Trung arrived at exactly 9am and was done by 10:30 as he planned. He is very professional and precise on his work. The whole process from the first phone call to finish is easy and smooth.

We were looking for someone to install an undersink RO system for us and found Trung. Called him to explain our situation, he was very professional and responsive and worked with us to explain the options (for our tricky situation). He then came out to install a system we had purchased for a reasonable price. Absolutely fantastic job and we are now enjoying high-quality water every day - thanks Trung for everything, highly recommended!

Don't go to the big water softener companies that have multiple sales people giving you their worn-out pitch. Trung's prices are much fairer. He also patiently answered all my questions in a timely manner, and I asked a lot of questions.
He came out to check my water hardness with no pressure to purchase anything after giving me a quote.
He installed the water softener in 3-4 hours and we haven't had any issues (granted it's only been a month).
There's no more hard water! And I purchased a hard water kit to check myself, everything is looking good.

I was referred to Silk Water another contractor working on my home who mentioned that Silk Water did a great job in neighboring homes and I should definite try to reach out if I was interested in setting up a water softener.

I gave a call and asked for a quote. Trung picked up and mentioned he'd need to visit to give a proper quote and to text me the address so that he could stop by that day. Minor issue with not communicating that the number I had called was a landline number and not a mobile phone but Trung did make it shortly after the appointed time despite this.

The appointment was quick and too the point. Trung gave me a quote and mention if I was interested in installing a water filter as well for drinkable water from the sink or while cooking. I declined and that was it. There was no aggressive push or upsell.

I scheduled an installation. Trung mentioned that he was ahead on the day of the install and asked if I would be available earlier. He promptly arrived with the water softener in hand and installed in about 1.5 hours as well as gave me a rundown of the system.

Overall, my experience with Silk Water was straight and to the point. Things were responded to quickly and went without a hitch.

Trung is very quick to respond, he cuts to the chase, no beating around the bush with too many confusing options/plans, which most companies.
He came for an inspection and quickly identified the water hardness issue and advised the right product for us. He provided a free estimate, which he stood by even after installation. There were no surprise charges during installation which was great.
He did a very neat job and we are very happy with the results so far. He also provided clear instructions for both the softener and RO system.
He was by far the most affordable option we found after checking with nearly 8 different companies.
He's honest, very responsive, punctual and did an amazing job.

Had a water softener installed a few months ago. Very fast response and will come out to provide quote and service that will be done.

My output needed to be push into the attic Trung was able to assist with that. Other contractors keep suggesting that i need to go into the concrete.

Silk water installed a water softener and two RO's under kitchen sink for me. They are quick, efficient, and do high quality work. I would highly recommend them for anyone looking for a water softener system. Even with a more complicated install that required installing a loop, softener in the garage, and bypass to backyard, Silk water was able to execute the project well.

Researched water softeners and whole house filters myself, and got quotes from a few plumbers. However, I ultimately chose Trung at Silk Water because he offered the entire package: he sells/installs the brand I wanted (Fleck), the type of filter system I wanted, and warranties it. Otherwise, I would have had to purchase the products on Amazon/elsewhere, hire a plumber, set up/configure the softener, and hope I don't have any issues. So it was worth paying a little extra to have white glove service: Trung brought all the equipment, installed it, programmed it, and includes a warranty.

Installation was completed in a few hours and the system is outside and looks great. Looking forward to some cleaner/softer water!
