This score only reflects skewers and the dry pot. We will be back for the hotpot.

TLDR: whatever you do, get the lamb skewers.
If you're thinking about giving this place a shot and like this type of food, it's pretty affordable and well seasoned.

      We got:

      lamb skewers (10/10) 7.99
these were the star of the show for us. Great cumin flavor very moist and tender. Other places tend to dry out and over cumin the meat sticks, but this place did it really well. We'd come back just for this.

and the short rib dry pot (7.5/10) 24.99
Honestly, this dish was overall pretty good. It only scores lower than an 8 because the meat amount is a little light, but the flavor is really nice and not too salty while retaining good flavor. The rice that came with the dish was a little dry.

      Diet Coke (2.00)

We liked the food enough to decide to come back to try the hot pot sometime (and get more lamb skewers)

The interior is pretty large and I like how each table has a big burner for the table and each person gets their own individual burner. We came for a late lunch/ early dinner and it was pretty dead. I appreciate the reasonable prices for everything and that they don't gouge you on soda (3.50 for glass bottle, 2 dollars for a can)

Parking is easy cuz it's on the exterior of Newpark Mall (next to lazy dog and yugo ramen)

Great skewers. We ordered they DIY simmer pot and added the sliced beef and lamb with enoki and shrimp and snakehead fish. Everything was delicious. It took about 10 minutes as the meal was prepared fresh. We had the cucumber salad and it was refreshing and tasty.
Definitely would come back and try their other dishes.

I came here to for my dad's birthday because he wanted a healthier meal and some noodles.

We ordered the Dan Dan noodles, spicy beef noodle soup, spring onion pancake, beef wrap, and the seafood steam pot. Everything was really good!

My dad wanted to try the bull frog legs and I personally didn't like that. They gave us complimentary fried buns with condensed milk and a cold jelly dessert which were both delicious.

The only annoying part were the small flies eeek! I think they leave the door open to air out the steam pot smell but it also lets flies come in and it kept going into my food.

You can order online and the waiter came over often to check on us. I would come back to try the other stuff next time!

I came here with some good friends for dinner on a Sunday night. The restaurant was lively but wasn't super crowded. They gave you a little platter of Chicago styled popcorn and green pea snack to munch on as you order and wait for food, which I thought was kind of nice.

We got a bunch of food to try
      - lamb skewers: this was actually slightly disappointing. The skewers weren't very meaty, and there was quite a bit of fat on each skewer. The flavor was decently good though.
      - beef pancake: this was really good! The pancake was flaky and stuffed with beef
      - spicy & savory land & sea pot: This wasn't spicy at all, but super loaded with meat - chicken wing, chicken leg, broiled beef, shrimp, and the extra fish which we added. The menu said that it would feed 2-3 people, but we were 4 hungry people yet still couldn't get close to finishing the pot.

This place is really really good! I believe this is a major chain store from china and around bay area.
I haven't tried their famous dry pot yet, as I only came here for lunch with my wife. The fish soup noodle is really good, huge portion and fair priced! I am really surprise this place is more crowded on a weekend lunch.

      TL;DR:
      - Homey authentic food that is the perfect balance of salt, spice, and uniqueness.

      parking:
      - no trouble finding parking as this location is located within a mall.

      wait time:
      - no wait time as I arrived 1 hour prior to closing.

      ambiance:
      - quiet, clean, and modern.

      service:
      - There was little to no service seeing as how you order by scanning the QR Code, adding your table number, and putting your order in there.
      - It did take a bit long for the food to come out but the wait was worth it.

      food:
      [Worth It]
      - Spicy Beef Noodle Soup: Despite the name it is not exactly spicy (it's less spicy than Sriracha), though it does have a slight kick. The soup was the perfect balance of salt, that was complimented with juicy beef, yum! The serving size here is quite large too and had I come for lunchtime, I would have easily been able to share this bowl with another female.
      - Pickled Mustard Green and Fish Soup: This is a great option for those who have absolutely zero tolerance for spice yet love a juicy fish fillet. I'm unsure if they normally give a bowl as much fish as they did but it was so good that I was ecstatic to take leftovers home. If I could modify this dish, I would hope more of the pickled mustard green was added as it felt like it was a modest topping.

      [Not Worth It]
      - Scallion Pancakes: This was crunchy but it was pretty boring to eat as no dipping sauce was served with it. I would not get this again.

      bathroom:
      - very clean and modern.

Only one table occupied when we came on a Sat at 1pm. QR code order system and it was fast and easy.

We ordered the fish noodle soup, one is pickled veg style and the other one is with green chili peppers, both bowls came in large portions and the fish is very fresh, unlike other places that give you frozen fillets, these are much better quality.

Will come back to try their specialty, simmer pots when we have a bigger party.

After walking around the mall, I got hungry and decided to order lunch from here. I ordered the pickled cabbage & fish noodle soup. When I walked in, there were only 2 tables of customers. I was able to get my food in 10-15 minutes. In terms of flavor, I thought the soup was kind of bland and there were no sour flavor coming from the pickled cabbage. I might come back and order something else but it won't be in the near future.

Ingredients are fresh and taste is good, but it's too much portion for small parties. It would be great if they can have mini-pots for 1-2 people, or allow half-order add-ons for DIY pots. They also failed to mark on the menu that all of the BBQ skewers are spicy by default. I had to make a second order with special notes in order to get a non-spicy skewer.
