Simple Moving Company

I used Simple Moving Company for our move from Tustin to Rancho Santa Margarita. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

From the start, I spoke to Christian when I was getting initial info and pricing. He gave excellent customer service - very clear and patient with all of my questions, I never felt rushed. I reached out to other 5 star movers in this area... and their customer service just didn't exist. Christian on the other hand, was a breath of fresh air. He was also SUPER responsive to any of my follow up questions. Pricing was very reasonable and straightforward unlike other moving companies.

Eugene, Vlad, and Artem were our movers and I was very impressed with the incredible job they did. We were moving from a 1 bedroom apartment to a 3 bedroom condo. At first they had 2 movers come to our place. They then did a walkthrough of our place and it was determined that we needed to call in a 3rd mover to help. I am actually glad that they recommended this because we had a lot more junk than we realized! My wife also had her home business inventory and equipment so we have a lot more stuff than an average family.

Our movers ended up taking a total of 10hrs total for the entire move. 10hrs is an extreme case because we have an extreme amount of stairs as well. 6 flights for the pick up location and 2 flights for the drop off location. We also had super narrow corridors.

Boy do these guys work HARD. Possibly the fastest movers we've ever worked with. They took very good care of our ALL of our items. They don't slam their dollies down and up the stairs (Ninjas I swear!). They also did their best to avoid any damages at our new place. Our patio was very messy and had a lot of bugs but these guys went in there and helped us move it all even when they didn't have to. All of our movers had very good attitudes and customer service throughout the whole day (I honestly don't know how they do it!)

We loved working with this company and I plan on working with them again for our future moves

Tips for new customers:

- If your new place has carpet you don't want to mess up, you will need to request this ahead of time so the movers can bring enough blanket coverings. This was at no extra fee for us.

- Take care of your movers and you will find that they will go even above and beyond for you. We tipped them extra well and fed them two boxes of pizza w/ drinks.

- Pack and label all your boxes before your move date. This will save you a lot of time and money.

James and Den were very professional and moved everything very quickly. I had asked them to move a couch that unfortunately they weren't able to fit into the elevator or stairs and felt awful but they were kind and patient throughout.

I felt the pricing was expensive but it seemed comparable to other movers when I was looking around.. I always move by myself so maybe I'm just not used to the pricing but it was definitely an investment.

This was our first time using movers and after finding a different quotes we ended up going with Simple Moving. We saw a lot of great reviews and we thought that the quote was good! Our movers were Kamil's Team and we had such a great experience with them. We lived on the top floor of our unit and Kamil and his team had to go up and down 2 flights of stairs. Kamil and his team were very professional and efficient. The move took about 3hrs but that was with going up and down the stairs.

For the unloading Kamil and his team was also very understanding with having to move the truck to not be in the way. They did the job well and efficiently and ciuldnt thank them enough for making our move from the Bay Area to Anaheim such a breeze.

Great moving experience. Pricing was very affordable and my movers, Arthur and Konstantin, were friendly and efficient. I would highly recommend.

I had a very pleasant experience with Tim, Harry, and Slava. They made the moving process easier.

Right off the bat there was great communication with the Simple Moving team, who were easy to reach and answered all my questions. On the day, Tim texted me and gave me a 15 min heads up when they would arrive. After scoping out what needed to move, they gathered their tools and materials and got to work. They were quick and detailed when they were covering my items in plastic wrap and moving blankets. They wasted no time packing, taking apart furniture, unpacking, and putting it back together at the destination.

They were all friendly, punctual, professional, and efficient. I did a lot of research when looking for movers, and for the reasonable price and quality of work, I'd hire Simple Moving again.

My husband and I moved across LA and decided to hire movers instead of bribing our friends to help us move. We made the right choice by hiring movers and choosing Simple Moving Company!

Simple Moving offers services to pack your belongings and move them, but we elected to pack our own belongings to be more economical. Michael and his team (Ivan and George) arrived promptly at 8:10 am (our window was 8 am - 9 am). I did a quick walk-through of what was being moved and the three movers handled the rest. They brought a huge moving truck, dollies, plastic wrap, blankets, and tools to disassemble furniture, if necessary. They even had extra boxes on hand.

I was concerned about moving our flatscreen TV, heavy couch (queen pullout bed inside), glass stand-up desk, and our heavy king-sized Casper mattress but I shouldn't have been. The movers were clearly knew what they were doing and more importantly, respected our belongings.

When we arrived at our new place, I gave the team a summary of where to put everything. They got to work right away. They removed any furniture wrapping they added and reassembled any furniture they took apart. They also checked with me if they were sure where I wanted furniture or boxes.

The entire move took 3.75 hours (double-drive time plus actual labor). I can't even imagine how long it would have taken us to do this ourselves. We highly recommend Simple Moving Company to our friends and plan to use their services again down the road. However, we may spurge and ask them to help us package our belongings, as well.

James and Boris did a wonderful job today moving antique furniture and lots of small items from a storage locker, through LA traffic, and to my apartment! They packed everything VERY carefully with lots of plastic wrap (more than I wanted actually!!), blankets, and wardrobe boxes for small items. They also communicated well with me about where I wanted things and were expert packers. Thank you, Boris and James!

The management also did a good job communicating expectations and the fair price. My only complaint is with management that should provide bottles of water to their staff, especially on such a hot day!! I was happy to provide ice water and lemon bars, but I felt sorry for them, as well as grateful.

Is the phrase "not so good but not so bad" from a movie somewhere?

Google suggests these synonyms: middling. okay. ordinary. passable. run-of-the-mill.

Successful move with some hiccups:
I paid for a $63 ticket bc the company makes you sign that you'll pay for any tickets. Wish I knew to get a permit for the truck in Santa Monica (now you know!). We can say this is half on me but if Simple Moving knew we might get a ticket, I would've loved a reminder to get one. Especially since they are experts and I was not, and clearly still am not.

6.5 hrs for three guys to move stuff from my 2b2b to 1B.

They arrived promptly at 8 and started at 8:15am. The three guys were not VERY friendly or enthusiastic but not mean or anything. They moved slow in the beginning and sped up for unloading. Variable speeds between the three guys. Still tipped bc it's a physically demanding job.

Left some trash for me to take care of - see photos.

Dropped my lampshade- granted it was old but the plastic shattered and they reimbursed me for a new one.

I think the price is a little steep considering the above comments. Haven't opened all my boxes yet but I think all my stuff made it so that's good! But there are def other cheaper options that meet that same criteria. I guess I'd say just under my expectations for a huge company with stellar reviews but my stuff was moved yay!

Tim helped me with my move and did a great job. He was really fast and efficient, taking my bed apart and setting it up at the new place. He packed everything carefully to avoid damage. The couch was wrapped up fast and well-protected. They even got stuff I wanted to leave but that's how fast they were! I didn't catch the other helper's name, but the one I was talking to was Tim. They asked how I wanted my stuff set up at the new place as well. I would definitely recommend them - moving with them was a lot less stressful.

My wife and I recently moved from Orange County, CA, to Star (Boise area), ID. We were in need of a moving company. We initially contacted another company and were nearly prepared to sign on the dotted line, but I tend to get multiple quotes and rely heavily on Yelp. I reached out to Simple Moving and Christian responded.

The other company had me do a virtual estimate, where I FaceTimed them and showed them our home and what we needed to move. The gentleman immediately determined that we needed two dedicated, 26 ft trucks, for our three bedroom home. Granted, we did have a baby grand piano, but we sold one of our biggest pieces, an entertainment center, so we did not think we had that much stuff. Two 26 ft trucks with a moving crew was going to cost over $16K,

Jack of Simple Moving did our virtual estimate. Afterward, Christian reached out to us. In contrast to the other company, Christian informed us that we were estimated to only go about 10% over the capacity of one 26 ft truck, and gave us the option of renting a U-Haul for what couldn't fit in the 26 ft truck, and we would pay his crew to load both trucks. Even for two 26 ft trucks, his estimate was $2300 less than the other.

We went with Simple Moving. The foreman, Konstantin, showed up on moving day as scheduled at 8:45 and he and his crew got right to work and took only a few breaks, finishing up about 2:30. They were very careful with our stuff, especially our baby grand, wrapping up most everything in cellophane. They packed the 26 ft truck to the brim and our 15 ft U-Haul had room left over. Two days later, Konstantin showed up on time at our new home in Idaho and his contracted Idaho crew showed up even earlier. They got to work at about 8 am and finished about 10:30. Our furniture and beds were put back together nicely. Unfortunately, my office chair was damaged slightly during the move but I was compensated. Overall, I was happy with Simple Moving and would use them again.

We were assigned Arseny and his team for our move from Anaheim to Lake Elsinore. His team was AMAZING! They were fast, efficient, and took great care in handling our items. They were helpful and offered additional assistance several times! They placed all items in their respective spaces, and were extremely courteous! We have moved to our forever home, but will definitely recommend and use Simple Moving in the future, and request Arseny and team!
